Tractor Broke Down | Diagnosing LS Tractor Error Codes

- Our LS tractor broke down. It would not stay running even though we have been using a fuel additive to prevent the fuel from gelling in the cold temperatures. After Stu was able to get the tractor to throw the error code, it was hard trying to find a reliable source to diagnose the code. There really is not a whole of information out there for the LS tractors. We're hoping we can help others out by sharing how we are fixing any issues with our LS tractor. It would be awesome to build a little community of LS tractor owners. Below is the link that Stu found for the LS tractors error codes.

I figured that's what you were going to come up with. Sometimes it's in the filters that freezing happens. If you take a clear container and put in couple inches of fuel . You will see in maybe 15 to 30 minutes what the fuel is doing in your take. It will stay fluid or turn to jell. This video should help people understand how diesel fuel works in winter. Thanks for sharing Stu. My Kioti tractor CK3510 probably has different error codes...but having a bottle of the diesel 911 on hand sounds like good advice. I think that these Korean tractor manufacturers use very similar designs.

I am a widow(almost 3 years) our LS tractor is 7 years old and we have had this issue, I didn’t know how to find the code or where my late Husband put the manual. The tractor did this today, went to the auto part store and bam! Works, I did have to regenerate the tractor had a code 81. I truly hate when it does that, I worry I will blow up the engine, maybe that’s just a lady thing😂 anyway what code reader did you recommend? Thanks again!

I went to my ls dealer shop an they printed out me the codes which he had to find in about 3 locations. It has the ls code/different code/po codes (auto type) which is great.
Our LS guy had a hard time finding the codes. He had to call me back.
Well I have a LS Tractor got the mower deck and backhoe. Well backhoe fell off the tractor ripped the threads right out of the housing. Mower deck alway had a leak from the first day I used it was told it’s normal. Mower hardly got used first year I bought this set up. The second year I didn’t mow from July to November. Fuel pump started smoking with in the first 100 hours. Going to try 00 grease but I doubt it will work I think seals are completely gone. LS Tractors and equipment are junk
Wow man! That’s very unfortunate all this has happened. I have heard some horror stories about stuff like this happening. Sorry to hear that. So far at almost 250 hrs. We have had pretty good luck. Hope you are able to get your grievances worked out with your local dealer. Thanks for watching.

Drain the water from the bottom of the fuel filter, reprise it, and put some 911 in it... problem solved..
Sounds like my 352 which is barely 1 month old.
