Unfortunately the ascent of modern technology like Auto-Tune has ruined the quality of music. There was a time (like the 1980s) when a person would have to have good voice and knowledge of music in order to be even considered a singer. The he/she would work on their art day and night to improve themselves. Not a case today. Today just about anyone with this two-bit software on their smartphones can claim to be a singer. I despise today's music. Sad times, sister. Sad times, indeed.

Unfortunately the ascent of modern technology like Auto-Tune has ruined the quality of music. There was a time (like the 1980s) when a person would have to have good voice and knowledge of music in order to be even considered a singer. The he/she would work on their art day and night to improve themselves. Not a case today. Today just about anyone with this two-bit software on their smartphones can claim to be a singer. I despise today's music. Sad times, sister. Sad times, indeed.
