Indeed, they really delivered. Season 3 really disappoints. Because of the rushed storyline Polin storyline, but also because the actor that plays Colin is just does not compare to the acting skills of someone like Jonathan Bailey.

Poor Edwina! She never had a chance, didn't deserve that. I felt so bad for her. All she wanted was a loving marriage. I was so happy when she didnt marry Anthony. It would've hurt a thousand times more if she had found out how they truly feel about each other much much later.
Edwina only wanted to be Viscountess, She wasn't in love with him any more than he was in love with her so it would have been a marriage of convenience which was the norm in those days. I admit I was sorry about the whole wedding scene - but I blame the scriptwriters!!
When someone gets a head injury, in this case, Kate, people show fingers and ask "how many do you see" to check if the brain is functionally normally or they have abnormal vision, the latter indicates that they're not okay. Anthony did that, but even if she answered correctly, he playfully changes his number of fingers as if she saw wrong.
in the books, they have 4 children, the 4th child came later, after Kate thought she cannot have children anymore, and they name the girl Mary, becouse by the time Kate gives birth to her last child, Mary, her stepmom, died, in that way they have honored her 😊
