Nadia was always weak on the vault. I believe the balance beam is her best apparatus.
she was so fluid on the beam!! i also never found vault to be a strong suit of Comaneci

If I recall correctly, I think even Nadia admitted in her autobiography that this wasn't a great event final. And that she was one of the worst offenders.
There are no vaults by Melita Ruhn who won a bronze.
