Recently found the Double Monk Strap and I fell in love instantly, though I'm someone who mainly dresses very casually. Jeans/chinos and a casual shirt or t-shirt, so I'm a little on the fence if I can pull them off.

I love your presentation on monk straps, it's truly a classic look. Personally, I prefer to wear my monk straps when I wear blazers and sportcoat combinations. I have never worn monk straps with my suits, however, after watching your video I might just break personal rule.

trying to buy a monk strap online. I usually wear a size 8UK. but since the monk strap doesn't have laces like loafers do i need to go a size down than my usual size ?

Do you think that dress shoes usually are too long? I have a body type very similar to your and I've never found a pair of shoes that dont sees to be too long (generally, there ir 2 inches between my toes and the shoe tip)
Maybe size down and get an increased width. For cap toe shoes you do want extra room because your foot isn't in a u shape.
When is it best to wear
