These lyrics are the most profound think I've ever heard. It says it all. I loved the Moodies back in the 60's & 70's when they were modern-day prophets. Hearing Mike Pinder's mellotron live in concert, gave me a body-rush out of this world. The Moodies were never the same without the Mellotron.
What I find most amazing Mike Pinder and the other Moodies were so young when this wonderful tune was first written and composed. Remarkable foresight and knowledge on display. Very old souls, very old and wise indeed-and outstanding artists.
A little moree than 50 years ago I was listeneing to this while I decided to propose to Chris. She said "Yes", and we will celebrate our 50th anniversery next June.
This is One of the Moody Blues Great and Wonderful Musical productions with a Wonderful religious over tones... almost like ..... Jesus speaking right to You before One recognizes........the Word... as it has always been!
One day I ate a orange and it was so good... I turned to my friend and said" If i lived in paradise, this would be there." and then i realized it was in my hand so this had to be paradise already and that I had always been living in paradise. and i understood. I explained this to my friend and he just laughed at me BUT I told this to another and he brought me here. I have never heard this song ever. trippy that someone else had the same experience. Never looked at life the same.
Brings tears to my eyes. Somehow, I see myself in these lyrics.

The Balance is one of my favorite words of the Moody Blues.

Beautiful! Chorus too obtrusive though.
Pretty cool though ? I agree though one can all ways do better ; but if these guys where too do it better , some of us may not be able to handle it .
And to think Rolling Stone Record Guide said the Moody Blues parlayed nonsense better than anyone. Oh well they have a right to their opinion.
