I stopped watching this at one and a half minutes in. Not because it is bad, but because I was convinced to buy the game and wanted to avoid spoilers. Your reviews are good, and I'm telling you this so you don't think I stopped watching because it's bad. Keep it up!
It’s definitely a nice chill game to play, with no combat. Although I wouldn’t say its very similar to harvest moon. It’s more exploration and quests than farming. But if that’s fine with you then 100% 😄
Indeed, that was a super deal. It was on sale just yesterday for Switch but the price was more than double compared to Steam, so I'll happily buy it on Steam instead.
Okay, this is not really what I expected after looking at the eShop page (which has no videos). I thought it was more like just a cozy farming sim, I had no idea it was a huge open world exploration game. For $5.99 it looks like a steal.
One of my first games on Switch and still one of my favorites along with Stardew, Cattails and MTaP. Such a cute little gem. I challenged myself to find all the cats in one in-game year and succeeded but that was alot of running around :)
Oh wow! The years go pretty quickly so that's quite an achievement! I first played this game a year or so ago and always find myself going back to this when I want a good cosy exploration game
@@LamoGaming Have you tried Cattails? It's not technically a farming sim, but it has foraging, mining (with your claws!) hunting, and romance. Very relaxing game, totally recommend it.
I bought both this and Grow Song of the Evertree by the same devs. They’re both great and both chill. I like Grow better but that’s not to say there is anything wrong with this game. It’s been one of my favorite games to sit and explore and collect which is all I ever want to do when I want a chill game. Try out Dragon Quest Treasures if you liked this game.
Very nice review. You convinced me to buy this. Grabbing it on the current Steam Sale for almost nothing (2,3 euro). I also have to say that your review was much better than the one Nintendo World Report TV put up, and they have 87400 subscribers and over 369.000 views on their review, so big numbers doesn't always mean better quality, it just means they got lucky with their marketing. One can also see it like this: Keep this up and your channel is bound to grow in numbers, because your review was better and quality attracts followers. At least I hope it does, and now you've got one more subscriber.
@@LamoGaming: Thanks, nice to know I could give some positive feedback and lift you up a little. How and why certain channels grow while others don't is a mystery. Maybe we should just do what we want and hope for the best. Maybe it will work, maybe not. I guess there are certain things we CAN do to improve our work (hey, I haven't even started yet, so I guess my best bet would be to actually BEGIN to do something) but we shouldn't adopt what others do just because they do it, because they we're just copycats. Maybe adopt something if it improves things and makes our marketing better, but never adopt it just to be more like everyone else. We do our channels the way we want them to be, because that's our own style, and we want others to like us for being...well, us. I ended up missing that Steam sale btw, because if someone says the sale goes on until July 11th, I expect it to be live the whole 11th, but Steam ends everything at their local office time, with no regards to the timezones, and I have hard time adapting to that...but I'll get it next time. ;)
@@LamoGaming: Hmm...I wrote a response but now it can't be seen...so I'm doing another reply to see what happens. I think you have a decent follower base to stand on already, but you probably need more content, like 2-3 videos each week, and maybe try doing some short videos too because I've heard they attract more viewers.
Thanks! I’m just doing what feels best and rolling with it! And I plan to try and get more videos out eventually but I work full time so struggle often with finding the time. I’m happy just to do what I can for now And good luck when you start yours! Let me know when you do and I’ll sub!
This game looks so cute. I am currently playing Grow Song of the Evertree by the same developers and I really like it, so I'm interested in playing their other games.
Not really any tutorial apart from a few quests at the start to introduce you to tools and crafting but it’s very easy to pick up. Controls and menu system are really basic, I never had an issue
@@LamoGaming awesome! I play on switch also but I read reviews from when it first dropped that the frame rate would become jarred in certain spots. Thanks for the quick reply! :)

Thank you so much! That’s really nice to hear 😊 I hope you enjoy the game!
do you like the game? im 38 and looking for a calm game like harvest moon ... would you recommend?

Thanks for having this review! Just grabbed it at 2 dollar something on the steam sale. Seems like a great deal.

I haven’t, I’ll definitely check it out. I’m after a bit different to try, so that sounds perfect 😁 thanks!
What is MTap?
My time at Portia 😊
Another game I've been looking at for a long time. Thank you for the review, I really want to give this game a go, now.
Awesome! Let me know how you like it 😁

Looks pretty slick. It’s currently €4,99 in the Dutch PS Store so I think I’ll pick it up for when I just want something relaxing.
Great idea! Such a good price for what you get!

Thanks, I really appreciate that! I dont seem to attract many views but lovely reviews like this make it so so worth it. Cheers!!

It's so pretty. My dream is a game like this but with combat. Something like Gedonia
Are you after something specifically with an old school vibe? I’m racking my brain trying to think of something you might like
Get Zelda breath of the wild
I played this game about 6 months ago. It waqs excellent!
It’s so good! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it earlier
i feel like this is underrated

Great voice, very nice review, thanks!
Thank you!!
Great review, you persuaded me to buy it
awesome oblivion comment!!! one of my all time favourite games!!!!!
Yesss!!!! Hahah love it
I bought this one about a month ago and I can’t wait to try it out!! Your video made me even more excited for it! Keep up the good work! 😃
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it 😄
Thanks for the video. I’ve heard that the game has no tutorial. Did you find it difficult to learn?

Are the frame rates still jagged?
Frame rate was fine for me - I played on the Nintendo switch. Not sure about other consoles
@@LamoGaming awesome! I play on switch also but I read reviews from when it first dropped that the frame rate would become jarred in certain spots. Thanks for the quick reply! :)
This game is great
It really is!
Wow this game sucks :o
Combat free?! Girl game.
