REQUEST Can you do a light platinum blonde to a more darker golden blonde? All we really see is platinum blondes usually and I love that but wondering more about converting a platinum to more golden blonde that's warmer !

Oh dear Mandie. That looks like my first attempt at a root smudge that went bad. You should have only used that darker shade 1" down, and then a softer higher level the rest of the way. She looks like she needs to go to the salon to get babylights now.

Mission Fake Blonde Achieved! I cannot believe this; the girl is naturally blonde. Why would you darken her roots and make them all reddish/brassy/fake looking, when you could have merely transitioned her naturally ashy roots into her blonde, by using a level 8 or 8.5 ashy demi for instance? The outcome of your work looks too dark on her (much bigger contrast than what she came in with) and it does not look like a natural hair color. For people out there, I recommend Davines Finest Pigments shades for creating shadow roots on blondes; you can mix different levels and tonal colors to achieve your target color; it is also kind of sheer, which makes it look more natural. I used it on myself to transition my level 7 roots to my level 10 ends. The line contains no ammonia, and you do not use a developer for it, it is pretty much a hair tint. Easy and forgiving to apply, smells good and is around 98 % natural ingredients.
what'd you end up toning the extensions to make them match and be less golden? looks gorgeous! haven't played with color gels yet but I think I might dabble into it next time I take a trip to saloncentric ..
oK, i WANT THIS DONE NOW SOOOOO BAD!! Getting my hair chopped due to health (and getting really dark to cover grey), would love to have the option to do extensions. Probably really expensive to get someone to do it for you.
Andreea B because she was a level 7 and have level 9 ends she wasn't taking her lighter so she went with Demi because she only had to deposit color not lift anything :)
Andreea B Demi is great to let clients see if they like the color or not! It's great for testing! And plus she can't do that on herself at home so it makes them come back and spend money😂🙊

Andreea B well because her hair is so fine and processed it's very porous which means it will suck the color up and as it fade it will grow out more natural so she won't have a line of demarcation ;) which is something most blondes don't like to see 😁💁🏼
Andreea B if you use a permanent color it's not seamless. Demi and semi you can get a seamless blended look. Also. Once that washes out her grow out won't look bad and soon she'll be able to not have to color her roots for an even more low maintenance color 💖
the little coyote i think i remember her saying in another video that it's to soften the blend more, also, along the top it helps so that if the client likes to change their part alot it won't leave a hard straight line. like it looks more natural or something :)
