I can’t smell bleach neither. I don’t over use what so ever (although my family and husbands family think I do) I use a 2L bottle a month and a little bit in hot water each time to dilute as straight bleach irritates my skin if I don’t dilute a little bit.

I think April is right.n of only one of you is working, the other should be doing the housework. However, you can't hold on to that thought if one of you is disabled or has health issues. You both have to work around the issue.
Yes, besides, if he's working he would surely need a house that is a home. Having a house that's difficult to live in when areas can't be used as intended must surely mean less ability to kind of "recharge"?
Placing the blame and blaming others is easy to do. In a household EVERYONE should do something constructive regardless of their own personal difficulties or needs. That's precisely why it's a family home. Making excuses just highlights YOU as a person.
It always amazes me that the messy people are so casual about their situation. I would literally be in hysterics crying. I’ve actually cried over the state of my house before and I don’t have ocd. Must be so stressful and hard to live like that

Brilliant! His study and her music room were the BEST! 😍 I loved watching the transformation of these particular rooms, the results were like a wonderful magic. I have to wonder, is a weekly or even once a month, professional cleaning, that expensive in the UK? Sometimes it's the best solution for someone who finds it too hard to handle the cleaning and tidying.
Paul seems like a good guy who actually wants to help and do the chores. She is the one blocking it and he respects it. He is a whole ass green forest 💚
I mainly use vinegar & bicarb to clean, due to having asthma; they clean very well. I do use bleach for some things: toilet, shower for its weekly scrub. The less chemicals per se the better. Strong black tea cleans glass and mirrors very well. I use old rags to clean that go in the washing machine and for dishes that can't go in the dishwasher I use white face cloths as they can be put in the washing machine & hung out in the sun to dry; if they need bleached they can be bleached. The sun kills a lot of bacteria and viruses and moulds.
How come she's not allowing him clean or do anything around the house, and he (actually seeing with his own eyes how bad it is) just be like: okay, I'll go chill in bed? She says she doesn't want him to do anything just out of being humble and he's more than happy to play along. You should get your ass up and do something. Or just call a professional cleaning service, it's not THAT expensive. Why would you ever let this happen to your own home?
Wow, we've finally see the video upload from the OCD woman who actually drinks water from her own toilet. That was shocking and a little unsettling to watch. Wanted to know if she would be prepared to resort to such measures from the hoarder whose home she visited to help organise and clean. The woman who was struggling to maintain her home due to having hip problems and poor health was critical of the OCD woman assisting her at first but soon appeared to come around to appreciating her OCD ways. Interesting to see people from both ends of the spectrum. Just highlights that there needs to be a medium somewhere along the lines.
Yep, that´s so weird. In another episode someone had a display sofa in his living room which gets cleaned every day, but nobody was allowed to sit on. And he also had an entire display bedroom that gets cleaned for 8 hours a week and never used. It was just for cleaning and looking at. He slept in another room. And he literally called it "display bedroom" and "display sofa".

You don't have to be compulsive to have a clean tidy home, but that doesn't mean you have to live in a pigsty either; I can't stand filth either, but I wouldn't drink from my toilet.
Of course cleanliness is very important & I'd rather be clean than dirty but being overly obsessive prevents you from having a normal life. As long as you can control your environment & keep on top of things best you can. Even I may leave a plate or cup in the sink, I'm not perfect but it won't stay there & I'd never let dishes pile up, to me that is plain laziness but you can see a floor & walk thru the door. Some places are just unliveable & very unsafe. Most of all the kitchen & bathroom are the most important rooms to be attended to followed by the bedroom where your bed has to be slept in & the sheets always changed & washed. Luckily, help is at hand by other people who dedicate their time to help clean. Honestly tho I don't know how anyone could live like this, I would be really depressed coming home to a place like this.
😀It seems (funny?) when hoarders tell the clean ones that they should have time for socializing. I know both conditions are bad but give me the cleaning OCD and not the hoarding bug.
I am a little bit OCD but not the point some of these people are, having a chronic illness and serious back issues I having issues cleaning like I'd usually do. I have some set ways of doing things and things must be put in the right place, heaven help you if you don't. But drinking out of the toilet, no freaking way, my loo is spotless, I nearly vomited, how gross. There is no need to be so over the top with clean, says the OCD lol. My heart goes out to these people who live in such squalor, hoarding is a mental health illness, just as much as OCD is.
Why is everyone so upset about drinking out of the toilet. Firstly, urine is sterile. Secondly, the average person drinks the same glass of water 5 times, everytime you flush a toilet, the water is filtered and goes to a reservoir, where drinking water starts its journey again.
Okay, I get it's hard to clean on crutches, and April asks Paul for help with the cleaning, but... DOESN'T SHE HAVE A SON AS WELL?! WHY CAN'T HE HELP????
Yes, we see the loong scenes of starting of the clean up, then, magically, the cleaning is over and the home looks brand new. They dont show us the time in between start and finish.
As a nation ie the uk we feel bombarded with clothes ads on tv & mostly ads on our phones plus Amazon putting special days where they put cheap deals on 2 make us feel we need 2 buy things on the days they choose. I think we all are obsessed with buying things we don’t need & our homes end up full of stuff we never wear or don’t need. Plus I know that because I have so much stuff I need 2 sell BIG TIME & plus it feels so so gd once u have a clear out & see how much space u have
I don't care how clean a toilet looks or how often you nuke it with bleach, drinking toilet water is just nasty 😖

I Cannot STAND A DIRTY BATHROOM,any other room can be messy but my bathroom HAS TO BE DRY AND SPOTLESS!!!
A DIRTY bath makes my both itch 🤮
You don't have to be compulsive to have a clean tidy home, but that doesn't mean you have to live in a pigsty either; I can't stand filth either, but I wouldn't drink from my toilet.
Would love this at home!!! Love OCD Cleaners Gill;Dx
I really love this episode
I really love to relate this channel with my real life parents house condition
"It may have got out of hand a bit" - "Ya think?!"
It was said at begin that he is mentally disabled
Toilet may be clean, but does a lemon really kill germs….. Got a problem with hoovers….. Sure you have….. Any excuse…..
Lemon acid is antibacterial and antiseptic, it also acts as natural bleach.
@@babs6379 Yes, and also solves grease. So terrific cleaning microwaveowen by cooking it to steam.
I mean considering she’s using a cheap hoover, half the dust she sucks up gets blown back into the air
'A problem with hoovers...' 🙄
Even IF that were true, wouldn't the solution be to have no carpets so you can sweep your floor?
Wonder what his neighbour did to make Ken so afraid of hoovers?
I don't know how people can let their houses smell like cat pee
Every 2 days i change the litter trays
Do not tell me they have a fear of germs but drinks from the toilet.
Can't help laughing a bit when the narrator calls Ken an environmentalist and then they show his habitat.
People who speak their minds dont want to hear back from the person they are talking to, thats often bad.
I wish they did a new series of this ❤
I dread to think how much Krystal's apartment cost!
I had to put what I was eating down and puke when she drink that toilet water doing that worse then the horders
why do you want to walk
on the clean floor while you can just fly.......😂
@4:12 - the garden is a bit overgrown - coming from someone who only has gravel in front and back of her house!
I can not understand how just the 2 of them clear all that stuff in 4 days surely they must have a group of people in to help like Kim & Aggie had.
They must have a mini team behind the scenes x
Yes, we see the loong scenes of starting of the clean up, then, magically, the cleaning is over and the home looks brand new. They dont show us the time in between start and finish.
As a nation ie the uk we feel bombarded with clothes ads on tv & mostly ads on our phones plus Amazon putting special days where they put cheap deals on 2 make us feel we need 2 buy things on the days they choose. I think we all are obsessed with buying things we don’t need & our homes end up full of stuff we never wear or don’t need. Plus I know that because I have so much stuff I need 2 sell BIG TIME & plus it feels so so gd once u have a clear out & see how much space u have
I've not watched it yet but... CAN THE OCD CLEANERS PLEASE STOP LICKING AND DRINKING FROM THE TOILET :'(
Imagine drinking from a toilet that was cleaned by a lemon 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Drinking from the toilet, not using a bathroom, leaving a coating of bleach on your kitchen counter.. oh my
Drinking from the toilet forgetting that water comes from a filthy cistern 🤣🤣🤣 most people don’t clean toilet tanks.
