@@salazar556 imo, this is just completely irredeemable for Fiona, her baby brother gets into her coke that she got from the brother of her boss/boyfriend who she was also cheating with, but oh she feels bad so it's all good. I had to stop watching, they made her not only unlikable but also just downright evil

Fiona was just desperate for someone to cling on to at that point. She was butt hurt about Jimmysteve and didn't know any better it seemed.

I don’t think she loved chaos. When you are an abused kid, you cling to the familiar, because at least you know how to navigate that. When somebody is genuinely healthy and nice, it’s terrifying because their demons can erupt at any time and you have no clue what they are. And there’s also an element of feeling like you don’t deserve better because of what you had to do to survive, so you self sabotage.

I really feel Fiona was done wrong later on. Even though she made this horrendous mistake she always felt bad about it and writers just made it so she doesn’t care anymore and wrote her out of the show, she doesn’t even show up in the finale! She sacrificed her own childhood for them, and yet they pretend that they would’ve been fine without her.
Why are you just assuming the writers decided it??? The actress was the one who wanted to leave. They HAD to write her out, her wish. Do you really think they would choose to write such a huge character out for no good reason? That's wanting to kill the show.
honestly thats a horrible point to bring up. she WILLINGLY sacrificed her childhood, she WILLINGLY became her younger siblings guardian, she WILLINGLY fucked herself out of a decent relationship, and she WILLINGLY did coke in front of her younger siblings and carelessly left it out. You cant voluntarily sacrifice your own life and then constantly shove it in your younger siblings faces and play the victim whenever shit goes wrong. for someone who acts so high and mighty about being responsible for her younger siblings, she cant even take responsibility of her own actions, the beginning of this video shows exactly that. her ending is just a build up of all her fuck ups and her inability to stop self pitying herself and take responsibilty over her own actions. ffs she put a house she didnt even pay for on the line because she was so arrogant that she could make it as a business woman. fionas biggest downfall isnt that she sacrificed her life for her siblings, it was herself

Fiona was upset that he confessed his infidelity with Mike but was more upset at the fact that he's a screw up like Frank. She tried to hide the cheating from Mike because she knew it was wrong. She gave in when Robbie tried to seduce her because Mike was drunk. They started getting in the act in the kitchen counter and then went quiet when Mike walked in the hallway, but he was so drunk that he blacked out in his bed. It's such a messed-up thing of her to cheat with his brother. Kind of similar when Mike did the same with Fiona when her and Jimmy were still in a relationship if I remember correctly.

I like how Lip is the only one who stays in the hospital while everyone else leaves while the cops takes Fiona it's like he's thinking she deserves to be arrested and stayed behind for his brother Liam.
The comments are valid but they’re also seeing everything in a 2D way. Though it’s hard to make a case because a child almost died because of idiotic negligence and lack of responsibility, she has her demons as well.
I just don't think there should ever be a situation where you're leaving hard drugs out in the open in a house with children I know no one's perfect but like how hard is it to lock that shit up

Child abuse doesn’t excuse you from being abusive to a child. I don't care what your demons are; if they get in the way of taking care of children, then you shouldn't be around them.

Fiona should of done 5 years in jail. Lip ruined his career either way so it wouldn't had matter if he left school sooner to watch over the family and probably would of prevented him becoming an alcoholic.
It was bad, but to be fair she thought Liam was asleep and only looked away for a few seconds.

I have a few issues with this from a story standpoint.First things first, they dropped the ball with not having Liam show any long term effects.He turned out to be the most well adjusted of the kids, in fact.Second, and this is a controversial one but I stand by it, Kev and V are nearly as responsible as Fiona was.Yes, it was her coke, but not only was Kev doing it with her, but V was stone cold sober.She absolutely could have kept an eye on Liam at all times.
Though I partially agree, Liam is her responsibility and hers alone. As the signed legal guardian it’s her who needs to be aware. She can't expect her friends/neighbors to be a parent while she cokes up in a house with a 3 year old
I feel so bad for the family and Liam. This was such a big mistake on Fiona’s but he should have been watching Liam better

Lip staying was such a huge growth moment for him. He watches his older sister that usually takes care of everything get arrested for putting his youngest brother in danger and the responsibility of it all washes over him all at once. Like regardless of whether in that moment before knowing everything, he may have wanted to follow his sister and see her until he couldn't. But he has to be there for Liam. No one else can.
this is why i don’t give a shit about her or “what she deserves”. she almost killed liam. it doesn’t matter that she raised them, that she was stressed. she almost killed liam just because she wanted to do drugs and she wasn’t even the one who called 911.
