Welcome to Bloodywood!! I love seeing people react to them for the first time because the general consensus is shock and awe. No one sees it coming, no one really knows why it works, but once you've heard it, minds are blown and there's no denying their music is addictive! But, these guys are the whole package... not only are they genuinely great musicians and performers, they are good humans, too. They legitimately invest their resources into so many good social causes, and encourage their fans to participate as well. Believe it or not, these guys are still completely independent - no label! Someday, perhaps they will have to sign, but for now, their Patreon supporters are doing their job. I'm gonna link a few more tracks from them below for you to enjoy. Bloodywood's mysic exists on a spectrum so some of their songs sound much more traditional than others. They are musicians that aren't afraid to experiment with their music. They started out by making heavy metal parody covers of pop songs and have been defining and refining their sound ever since. 🤘 Dana Dan (turn on captions for this one!) - ruclips.net/video/a65A626Ed20/видео.html Aaj - ruclips.net/video/kgvH6tX4Ej0/видео.html Ari, Ari - ruclips.net/video/i4FqGPRQWFM/видео.html _(this is the song that launched them in India)_
Bloodywood is an "Indian folk metal" band from New Delhi, India with the 3 main members being : Karin - guitar/flute Jayant - Hindi/Punjabi harsh & clean vocals Rauol - English rap There's guys are fantastic human beings & every song from this debut album, Rakshak, is 🔥! Plus, their live shows are the best! They are in studio working on their 2nd album right now, so it's the perfect time to catch up! I suggest Aaj next to experience more of their sound & then Dana Dan (turn on CC) to get your face ripped off 😆 Great reaction! Can't wait to join you for the next step in your Bloodywood journey!
As the band come from the New Delhi Metropolitan area in India the name for the "indian drum thing" is a dhol. It is in this case closely associated with Punjabi culture and the folk music of that region which includes historically Delhi. As a Sikh if I am at a wedding for example I would expect to hear a dhol in the mix. ruclips.net/video/R0FDzIs48PM/видео.html (plus lots of bad dad dancing LOL) It can be very loud - this was during the pandemic when people came out to cheer the health workers ruclips.net/video/zunvtJBkS9E/видео.html
Even before I start watching your reaction let me tell you ... now that you know who BLOODYWOOD are, check them out more. They are the most genuine souls who walk the talk, have a message in each of their tracks.

3:38 yeah it definitely reminds me of LP with some india instruments beat.
Time for a babymetal colab !
You mean Babymetal and bloodywood?? That'd be bonkers.

Why is this MV a few seconds edited before the breakdown???
Why did you skip the drop, the best part?
