As an Indian i think I should clarify this. What you hear in Indian markets and restaurants in US, UK or EU and Australia is actually what the generation that left India 30-50 years ago listened to. They are stuck in that India but we have moved ahead. And now the commercial music that we listen to here is completely different. There's also indie pop, rock and metal bands who are pretty popular but Bollywood dominates the market still. Anyways, loved your reaction and can't wait for a reaction on 'Aaj' because BLOODYWOOD is BLOODYGOOD 🤘😎 Here's the link ruclips.net/video/kgvH6tX4Ej0/видео.html
2:13 hello mate, it’s a guitar made by the Cathode Guitars. They are based out of Himachal Pradesh in india and they specialize in custom artisan hand crafted guitars and basses. I own a Cathode headless bass and in comparison to music man StingRay which I also own I prefer the cathode one.

The guitarist Karan Katiyar uses a combo of guitars. In this video he uses a custom Cathode Guitars 7 string. He also uses a Line 6 Shuriken Variax SR250 and a couple others.
Okay as an Indian I would say that the instrument which had that weird sound was a punjabi instrument (punjab is a state in india) and it's name is Tumbi .....it's a one string instrument somehwat similar to acoustic guitar.....
Bloodywood is the best thing out there right now. I can't get enough of them. Please go down that rabbit hole. Every song will have you reacting the same. Check these out... "Aaj" "Dana Dan" "Machi Bhasad" "Ari Ari" You can't go wrong with any of those. Please do more.
I am so glad you two _finally_ got around to Bloodywood!! I just knew you would love it! So many lives have been turned upside down by this. I just hope everything turns out OK for you two. Sigh... let's face it - Mother Nature is pissed off!
They're one of the best original groups to come along in years(They've actually been around quite awhile now, they're just hitting their stride now) They're not political in the sense of many American artists, more antipolitical, pro socially moral. There's 2 things about them. They always speak their mind, being independent they can do that. And...it's always different and it's usually better. If I had to guess the Indian stringed instrument is being played by the guy on the Indian drums, he's an multiinstrumental talent(he used to be a lawyer believe it or not) The vocals balance rap and metal as well as any band I've ever heard. Great reaction!
Avoiding everything that causes discomfort is why the world is facing global dictatorship and most are utterly oblivious. Bloodywood are one of a very few with the balls to put it in your face. Fucking love this band. Edit: love from the Western Cape. Never thought I’d see an SA reaction channel.
FINALLY!!!! Bloodywood is Awesome. So great you finally found this Band. Watch their Documentary "Raj against the Machine". Great reaction, try aaj, endurant,Dana Dan,or Yaad next, but anything by bloodywood is awesome and they always have really cool messages in their songs.
Wazzup guys. I'm a Durbanite living in JHB. Can't believe the videos on social media are actually of KZN. Stay strong. Really enjoyed this reaction. Pausing a video is part of reacting so it's cool. I'm a huge Bloodywood fan from back when they were doing bollywood metal covers. They are amazing. Toured Europe and even played Wacken Open Air before even releasing an album. React to Ari Ari, Joe Veeray and Dana Dan. You can't react to Bloodywood without understanding their msg. I totally respect wanting to concentrate on the music and not the subtitles. I do that as well. But that just doesn't apply to Bloodywood. Amazing music but even more important social message. It's not always political. Their songs cover mental health, dealing with loss of a loved one and their latest track is about sexual abuse.
Hey Kamal. Haha, and we are Joburgers living in KZN 😂 Thanks so much for checking this out and for giving more info regarding their songs. That's the thing about metal, they always touch on more sensitive topics and it's actually sad that it's never shared on radio stations to get the message across. When we check out more of their songs we will keep in mind to actually read the lyrics as well, thanks for that.
Sorry I didn't catch this one earlier. re the drummer : Vishesh incorporates so many fragments of jazzy note fills and combines them with rhythmic bits that (I think) come from the dagga and tabla... just wonderful stuff. I see people have recommended Aaj, there’s a “making of” video for it. Speaking of which, you mentioned the videography - they don’t have a label, so do all their own audio & video production and recording
Oh, and you were questioning the Bloodywood/Bollywood play, which is exactly accurate - they started off doing metal covers of Bollywood songs. If you want the deep dive on that, try Tunak Tunak Tun - I don’t even know how to begin to describe that one, just buckle in and hold on, that one’s a wild ride
😂😂 Guess we are but glad we found them eventually. YT is quite strict with what they allow to be shown to the public so for more thongs you can check out our OF pages
Rap with real hot rock style, played by Indian metal band? I think we don’t have a clue what is coming in our way from that part of the Earth! But I have a dark vision about them and their neighbors on the East. Dark because they are intelligent, hard working, with a funny accent. And what we have? *You dont know...they bought some instruments but the rest is what they got from sponsors or donations. Including what they got for their Europe concerts. They are self published with no label...doing it on their own. So, do excuse their red sparkle drum set.*

This just dropped a couple days ago... XdaDq22p_SA It's Bloodywood, in the studio, guitar, vocals, the dhol and drums (plus the backing track) dong Gadaar live.... as a promo for the Nine Inch Naans Tour. Sounds sooooooooo good. You don't have to do a reaction to it.... just listen... just as good live, and even more energy!! I have tickets to a tiny 300 person venue/show in a couple months, but I can't go due to a schedule conflict, plus the travel distance will be too much . ... I've already given them to someone via the net.... trolling for good karma, I guess. (laughs.... karma is not earned; it happens when you do good expecting nothing in return) Anyway, I know how Harry likes a good drummer... you gotta here this clip !!
Randallllll.... Always a blast to see you in the comments. This sounds super cool and something we have to see so thanks for the link. Ha ha. Maybe that's how Karma works, but that's not the case with Favor. We believe you don't put your seeds in the ground not expecting your crops to grow and hoping Karma smiles on your harvest do you? Sow them seeds expecting them to grow. Not just for you, but for everyone. Just water it with love and we reckon that will result in favor. Hey, just our way of believing.😉
That instrument you are talking about is a Punjabi instrument . Don't generalise Indian music like that. Indian music is much more diverse than that. Actually Indian music is the most diverse in the whole freakin world .
Thanks for the info regarding the instrument. And regarding the music, we bet it is, and like we said we don't want to offend anyone. It's just our opinion that we have shared and personally because of the difference in culture it's not something we like. That said, Bloodywood is great and hearing the traditional instruments just makes the song so much better
As an Indian i think I should clarify this. What you hear in Indian markets and restaurants in US, UK or EU and Australia is actually what the generation that left India 30-50 years ago listened to. Thanks so much for this information and for being cool about it. We totally agree that they are Bloodygood 😁
Cathode electric guitar ...handcrafted ..Indian limited edition..custom signature
Karan talks about this guitar in Tank's podcast with him, which you can also watch here on YT, oh FYI, stopping for copyright does not work 🙂
You're also gonna love Dana Dan - but I do strongly recommend paying attention to the lyrics, too - Bloodywood always has an awesome message in each of their songs :)
And be sure to turn on CC
I second this. Not paying attention to the lyrics is definitely a disservice to Bloodywood!
Does this channel also go into RATM videos saying we won't pay attention to the politics 😂
The guitarist Karan Katiyar uses a combo of guitars. In this video he uses a custom Cathode Guitars 7 string. He also uses a Line 6 Shuriken Variax SR250 and a couple others.
I guess that is a Shuriken Guitar too
This song slaps harder than father when you cant learn something. 😀
Okay as an Indian I would say that the instrument which had that weird sound was a punjabi instrument (punjab is a state in india) and it's name is Tumbi .....it's a one string instrument somehwat similar to acoustic guitar.....
Hi Harry and Sharlene! Great reaction! These guys rock hard! 🤘🤘🤘
Bloodywood is the best thing out there right now. I can't get enough of them. Please go down that rabbit hole. Every song will have you reacting the same. Check these out...
"Aaj"
"Dana Dan"
"Machi Bhasad"
"Ari Ari"
You can't go wrong with any of those. Please do more.
THAT GUITAR IS PRESTIGIOUS INDIAN BRAND OF COURSE NOT AS BIG AS GIBSON BUT IN QUALITY IT IS . I DONT EXACTLY KNOW THE NAME
well it's about time you guys reacted to this band! Hope you guys stay safe!
I am so glad you two _finally_ got around to Bloodywood!! I just knew you would love it! I'm sure plenty of suggestions have already been made, which I fully support. 👍
On a personal note, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the catastrophic flooding you've been enduring.
So very true yes. We've only seen this song of theirs and looking forward to hearing and reacting to a lot more. They are amazing!
Love from KZN 🤘🏻
Love this band..great reaction🤘🏻🤘🏻♥️
THAT BIG DRUM IS CALLED DHOL ......IT SOUNDS LIKE A HUGE HUGE KICK DRUM
These guys are killer love them heavy as hell
FINALLY!!!! Bloodywood is Awesome.
So great you finally found this Band. Watch their Documentary "Raj against the Machine". I just watched it yesterday and it blew my mind how this guys Made it where they are now.
and you should check out next "Aaj", "Machi Bahsad" or "Jee Veerey" from them. "Ari Ari" is also a Great song, and their first cooperation with Raoul Kerr (The Rapper in this Video)
I´d recommend to Wait with the "Dana Dan" - Video until you checked out those songs first. It actually doesn´t really matter, but Dana Dan is their heaviest song (musically and topicwise) so, it´s a better experience, if you first get to know them a little better.
Love your reactions
♥
Edit: Dana Dan does not have in-Video-CC, so make sure to turn them on, when you check out that song ;-)
Love it.....please do more bloodywood reaction
Excellent. Love these guys!
Love Bloodywood! You absolutely should check out their song Dana-Dan. It is one of the heaviest on their album. I first got hooked with their song Ari Ari. Can’t wait to see them live!! 🤘😎🤘
I hope you all are staying safe in the storms!
Much peace, love and as always … MTFBWY! 🥰
That was seriously rad, guys! 🤘😎👍
The guitar is an Indian brand called cathode and i think the model is called neutron, not sure about the model
Great reaction, try aaj, endurant,Dana Dan,or Yaad next, but anything by bloodywood is awesome and they always have really cool messages in their songs.
these guys love reactors and have been known to coment on reaction videos
Cathode guitars. Custom guitars made in India.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat , Bloodywood , are you kidding me , was great.
Cathode guitars. Custom guitars from India. He uses a different one for recording. He has an ormsby. He also uses the Line 6 Variax for live shows
Wazzup guys. I'm a Durbanite living in JHB. Can't believe the videos on social media are actually of KZN. Stay strong. Really enjoyed this reaction. Pausing a video is part of reacting so it's cool. Sorry I didn't catch this one earlier.
re the drummer : Vishesh incorporates so many fragments of jazzy note fills and combines them with rhythmic bits that (I think) come from the dagga and tabla... just wonderful stuff. I put him up on Vlad's level. Another interesting bit : Bloodywood does not sample nor trigger nor time-correct their drums.
Suggest that to a western (Euro or Amerkun) producer and you'll get dagger eye'd.
It is an extreme pleasure to hear the actual drum bits, as they were played.
That is all.. looks like a lot have time (and BW songs) have passed thru since April.
Take Care.
I see people have recommended Aaj, there’s a “making of” video for it. Speaking of which, you mentioned the videography - they don’t have a label, so do all their own audio & video production and recording

Yess Jayant roars🤘🔥🔥
You two are SUPER late to the Bloodywood party. But, better late than never.
I heard the song for 100th time, but didn't see the thong 😢
😂😂 Guess we are but glad we found them eventually.

Rap with real hot rock style, played by Indian metal band? I think we don’t have a clue what is coming in our way from that part of the Earth! In your intro...which song that is?
There is a link to it in the video description.
Мощно!
NO FLAG
This just dropped a couple days ago... XdaDq22p_SA
It's Bloodywood, in the studio, guitar, vocals, the dhol and drums (plus the backing track) dong Gadaar live.... as a promo for the Nine Inch Naans Tour.
(laughs.... karma is not earned; it happens when you do good expecting nothing in return)
Anyway, I know how Harry likes a good drummer... you gotta here this clip !!
You do know that sabaton has realeased new material?? And you should check disneyton
try the reaction of metal songs from Indonesia...."il sogno" -isyana sarasvati and deadsquad
React to sabaton-hellfighters
"We're not paying attention to the lyrics." = instant skip
raj against the machine
if you are not political in metal you are a bland generic frivolous empty shell
Korean guitars are generally good...no?
She is not your girlfriend right because if she your girlfriend she have in only fans page and its ok to you how 🙄
Actually she is my wife and I'm okay with her having an OnlyFans page 😊
Because he doesn't treat his wife like property? This is such a fucking backwards take.
