Yokohama Arena (same as Legend MM, Sun Also Rises, etc.) one of their favorite venues. This was part of the Trilogy concert series in 2015. A fantastic show.

This show was in the same place as Legend MM and the 2019 show where the Avengers were announced (same show as PAPAYA's MV).
And I also think this is the best stage from the girls' old era, followed by the show at Makuhari Messe where there was a triangle-shaped stage where the girls stood and another stage behind to the Kami Band. Both shows from 2015.

The One is Babymetal's love letter to their fans. As you probably know, Babymetal's fans are collectively known as "The One", so this song is dedicated to the fans. There are actually a few different versions of this song; there is the original half English half Japanese version from this video, then there is also an English version that they created for the international fans. When Babymetal first started touring internationally, they noticed that overseas fans were singing along with the Japanese lyrics and they were very touched that the fans had gone to the effort of learning the Japanese lyrics, so they wanted to reciprocate by singing a song entirely in English. The One is actually the second part of a two-parter with Tales of the Destinies, which is why it's so proggy. The performance at Tokyo Dome 2016 Day 2 is probably the definitive one, as it's the only time they played them together in sequence. There is another version called the "Stairway to Living Legend" version that was released just before they went on hiatus.
When they were planning this concert, Koba asked the girls what they wanted to do for the performance, and they said that they wanted to get as close to the fans as possible, so the production team came up with the floating pyramid to take them out into the audience. Moa said in an interview after that she was worried that she would cry and drip on the fans below.
The One gets kind of a mixed response from fans. Some people (like me) love it, but others find it a bit slow and repetitive.I've been lucky enough to experience it live on two occasions and being there live really elevates it.

Pre Monochrome, I believe this is Tokyo Dome (last shot can see recognizable overhang). Remember Monochrome only came out about March 2023, very new song.

Nice reaction. Babymetal for their large shows do one offs. Meaning they only did it for that show. Before they did the show as the story goes, they asked Babymetal if there was anything they wanted to do for the show. Getting close as possible to the fans in the backrow is what they wanted to do. After they said they wanted to forget the choreography and just wave to the fans. But they are pros, so they did their jobs. I wonder if they did this today if it would have gone the same way or would Moa just wave to the fans. Maybe a bit of both. Only the Fox god Knows. Concerts like this is one of the reasons Babymetal is thought of as one of the best live shows to go to. For many of their international fans this a total bucket list item to see them live in Japan. They're doing a radio show in Japan now. They don't really know how to take a break. As the host of the show, we got to hear a lot of their personalities comes out as they talked about last year in the first broadcast. Kind of funny when they said they wanted to do less shows because they were so busy in 2023 and then ended up doing more shows than ever before in 2024. Record a new album, do a radio show, work on the next Fox_Fest line up. I guess that's what counts as taking a break when you're Babymetal. The Foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

    Nice one, thanks!
Yes, this is a music video with the studio track over live visuals. Most of the visuals are from the show(s) Babymetal World Tour 2015 In Japan - The Final Chapter Of Trilogy - Act II, held at Yokohama Arena in December 2015. It was the song's live premiere.
The stage, with the three sphinx-like fox heads, seems to be an homage to Iron Maiden's Powerslave album cover.
Moa said that she didn't want to look at the crowd because she would cry and she didn't want her tears to fall on the audience.
Regarding safety concerns... there is a lifeline in the center of the pyramid (they were wearing climbing harnesses for sure) and even Su's mic has a wristband safety chord. They took safety seriously... unlike the previous year at Budokan (where Yui fell off the stage). 😅

Great reaction.🦊The One' was the last song on the second album in 2016 (following straight on from 'Tales of the Destinies' which is their homage to Dream Theater's 'Dance of Eternity' - this song started life as part of that song but was separated quite early in the writing process).
This was the version from the Japanese edition of the album, so it is the half and half English - Japanese version. The international edition has the full English version that the girls had challenged themselves to do as a mark of respect and appreciation to the foreign fans who they noticed had been learning Japanese to sing along with them as they toured the world.
This is effectively their love letter to the fans (who they also named "THE ONE").❤
Being the official video this had the studio audio and of course you couldn't hear the crowd all singing along as you would in a live version.
On The First Take when Momometal was revealed as the official third member last year, as part of that reveal they released an "unfinished" version ie it is stripped back with piano and strings only (also it is very much shortened having just the first verse).
Legend S is possibly the best unfinished start going into the full version, Tokyo Dome had the extended full English version, Stairway to Living Legend probably the most emotional 'unfinished' version (a longer version of what they did on The First Take).
Add a comma after the 'whenever' in that final statement or change it to 'At any or every time/moment'. Still not perfect, but it is clear what they are trying to say.

Nice reaction! For me personally, this is the most awesome and most beautiful performance of "The One" ever! The stage alone is already so awesome... and there´s a nod to Iron Maiden, too 😁It happened in 2015 at the Yokohama Arena. "Legend MM" happened there, too 😉

The concert where this video was filmed was at Yokohama arena and was part of a three concert DVD Blu-ray set that they sold together with other merchandise and a large canister what other concert was 2015 New Year Fox fest and I think the other concert included in the set was makuhari messe All three were huge concerts for Babymetal

This show was part of a trilogy of shows which, when you drew a line from all 3 Makuhari Messe , Yokohama, and Satima Super Arena, it pointed to The Toyko Dome were they performed 2 back to back shows of 55.000 fans a night .

This is a music video. It has live concert footage, but studio audio.
If it doesn't say "Live" on the BABYMETAL Channel, it isn't live audio.
The blu-ray version has the pyramid landing back on the stage. : )
This was at Yokohama Arena, the same venue as LEGEND MM.
'Road of Resistance' (Live in Japan) was filmed at Saitama Super Arena.

THANKS a lot for doing this one. As you said, this is not one of their super requested songs, therefore not one of their most reacted, and I can't understand why. Is the most beautiful song in the most epic beautiful performance I've ever seen.
I can't understand either why they stopped playing it live.
When they learned fans worldwide were learning Japanese to chant their songs, they feel so touched they wanted to give them back something in the form of a song in English, and this is The One, a love letter to their fans. Who does that? Just the concept of it is wonderful.
"Wheneve we are on you side remember always on your side forever" yeah this could have used some commas in it but still beautiful 😂
    Thanks again!! 🤘🦊
