@@slayer8273 no, because I met him multiple times 15+ years ago when he was drumming for Orgin. He was a cocky asshole that acted like he was better than everyone
@@powerstrokepuller8076 my band opened for them in 2006, he was pretty much laughing at my drum setup and my pedals. Never talked to him, but he gave me an asshole vibe at the time. Who knows, he's probably a really nice guy. I can't really judge from that one time. But it really was a dickhead moment that I'll never forget.

@Rene Dominguez NO. Pete Sandoval is recognized as being one of the main innovators of Death Metal drumming, and he is worthy of homage being payed to him. Whether he is a Christian now doesn't change anything in regards to his past or current accomplishments.

@@CorridorOfChameleons94 Pearl does have great hardware. I use the Pearl DR-513C Drum Rack (with additions) for my larger kit. Sadly these days I have no use for the big drum kit since it's only useful when playing symphonic prog metal :(
tight set up = minimal movement = less energy used moving around the set = play more consistent for longer amounts of time
@@SockerConny80 will more times than not it's nice to have a smaller and easier setup. I use my Icon racks as side racks now. As longs as I have my Icon racks I'm good.

Although I've heard Origin stuff here and there, this is my first time watching this guy. First of all, the precision is crazy and energy efficiency is unreal. But what got me was his choice of certain patterns sounds SO GOOD (one example is that ride-work w/ trash hat accent @ 3:12). It's been a long time since I've encountered a drummer stylistically similar to Scott Ellis (ex-Warface). Looking forward to more playthroughs!!!
