I'm doing a castle mega build & was asked to add a wizard's tower to the outdoor crafting courtyard. I was able to implement this tower into the castle wall & it looks amazing. Thank you so much for putting out the tutorial!
This is the kind of build i was searching for. As i am playing more of a Mage now, he of course needs a Mage tower so thank you for this great inspiration.

@@Mkable01 linen cape is shit.. ain’t worth it because of father cape is definitely worth to wearing it 100% of times. 😅🤷🏻♂️
I agreed with myself very quickly that many vanila mechanics are mildly infuriating. So I led myself to the pass of mods. I know that many consider it cheating, but I try to keep it low, not to break the game experience completely. That’s why I find building camera mod on of the best mods. With it I forgot about constant fall deaths and scaffolding, and searching for an easy angle.
definitely add another cart of wood for the scaffolding!
your tower has inspired me to go full tilt and blow it up instead of a 2x2 wall setup i took it out to 4x4 staggered . and mixed the 2x1 stone /marble in its coming out epic . thank you for the ideas seriously . 🤘
I more or less have increased the size by 2/3 and am doing a knock off of it as well.

Love your build, but I feel builders in this game would really benefit from triangle roof pieces to make it a bit easier. as well as triangle floor pieces. But I love the freedom of Valheims building system. :)

I decided to do it completely from marble, and it’s already on top of my “first floor”, where the eitr refinery is. I didn’t think before that it’s so difficult to build out of black marble at night. Starting from the evening, at 18:00 till 6:00 can just skip with sleep, as you can’t see shit.
If anyone wondering how the spiral stair suddenly changed at the top, when placing make sure you do 1 extra rotation when placing. This should have you coming out the same orientation as he shows at the end. Different that what he shows during original placement...
Love the decorations too. Oh! Instead of stairs... why not just put some portals to go to the upper levels? 😋
IDK I have yet to see someone weave black marble with the other materials in a way that doesn't clash yet. The trouble is that black marble is so pronounced almost nothing, aside from darkwood, compliments it. I'm sure the community will crack the code eventually though. Hopefully they add all the missing dvergr pieces after their holiday break.

It's a wizard tower, it only makes sense to have a portal in the bottom that leads to a portal on the top floor. Wizards don't use stairs.

I haven't seen a lot of building with marble yet so I was wondering what the structural integrity of marble was, what I mean is how high can you build with marble before you need reinforcement. I imagine it is similar to if not the same as stone.
How can you pick a favorite when im in awe by all your crazy dude good build to very impressed

Sweet build, really odd you can place the puffs on stands but not the lantern by itself.. hoping they fix that in the next patch since many have mentioned it on discord game chat.

Out of your 2 mistlands builds so far, this one definitely has the better exterior, but your dwarven house has a better interior. It's a tough call...
I like the build, it's pretty sweet for a wizards tower. However, I can't see putting this in the Mistland's biome. You could never appreciate it visually with the horrendous mist. Don't forget about fire blimpy. He'll wipe it out in a heartbeat.

Lordy, i have to figure out how to keep it daylight. It seems like I build for 10 minutes have to stop and go sleep for daylight, over and over and over.

I have to look up video ideas for building just to see what works in this game. The "structural integrity" is so janky and inconsistent it's just better to see how others have figured it out.

Nice look, but not very practical. The refinery will damage it inside. Not only, but will occupy touch of the inner space. Still cant find a good mage tower that can hold the ietr refinery.
