That’s likely just a clogged PCV, very common on the M112/M113 it’s not the head gasket. Most people suspect the head gasket but 99% of the time it isn’t.
Hi Mike I don’t think it’s ahead gasket the slim in the cap is usually a PCV valve the car looks like a good deal it it were an head gasket and running really hot from that distance great video you will make it purr 😊happy Friday
Nice car Mike, hope it’s ok and either way no matter what is wrong with it you are the man that car sort it. Next video on the car could be a first wash, would love to see that
That doesn't always mean Head gasket because when I used Kendall oil in one of my cars it always got milky, but when I used another kind of oil it never did it again, I found out it was the detergents in the oil breaking down.
Wow thank you looking forward to see how you go with this one I just bought a ml 320 / 2003 and i love it And i have a similar problem with the steering
I love the ML320. That ML looks better than the one that looked at. It made me really think about buying a Mercedes and I regret not buying it. I did think it was weird that a 2000 had CD and tape behind the screen.
I don't think the head gaskets the problem at all it wouldn't be running as good as it is right now if the head gasket was blown and you would probably see evidence of it more of white smoke coming out the back or milkshake underneath the cap and I mean thick milkshake but just a little moisture under the cap seems like it might not just had enough oil in the crankcase or in the oil pan for the oil pressure to register hopefully that's all it was though I think it's good buy for $1,200 it runs and it drives and it has heat and it has air seems good can't wait to see more of it
I had the same issue with a valve cover gasket and moisture was getting in from valve cover gasket but once I replaced the valve cover gasket, it stopped
Did that grill piece fall off while you were getting air in the tire? I noticed something laying on the ground around that time. Went back to the beginning of the video and it was on. Anyway can’t wait to see how this one ends up!
hello mike, clad you made it back home, i wonder if when the engine is cold you head gasket is blown, but when it gets to running temp it seals is self?
Ah, yes the old "oil scare". That happens when you live in a colder climate *AND* you haven't driven the car frequently and on long distances. About 20-30 minutes on the highway and that milky stuff goes away! It's because of the PLASTIC oil funnel that connects to the valve cover on the engine. Happened on my sister's ML 350 when her daily commute was less than 5 miles through town.
Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. The 2005 Mercedes ML350 is a good looking SUV even though it's got damage on the rear end and possibly drive train damage in the rear.
MWM my friend, I may have missed something: did you look at this Benz before you bought it? Lot drive it? The oil’s not on the ground, but the level keeps dropping. Not a good situation! I’d get your head gasket tester kit on it as soon as you get home. Then get a bottle of Randy Juice. I’ve heard little if anything about head gasket problems with that motor. Hoping for the best for you (but expecting the worst). Peace my friend, DrRick
Hey Mike Lola and Benzo you should have called Randy got is trailer oh wait you sold the truck. Power steering oil is low. Check the head gasket first calm down. That milk shake can be just water on the cap what does the dip look like?
that address does come back to broken arrow and there is a discount tire right next to the oil change place. so u could get an oil change and tires all in the same day.
Mikey, I was sure you were going to detransition from Mercedes for a little while. You were looking at other cars and actually liking some, then next thing I know...poof! You bought another one. I was really hoping for other content on here besides the everyday...oh well.
Another beat up Mercedes with very little upside that you will curse and wonder why you bought it. In others words, plenty of frustrated MWM content. Exactly why I watch your videos.
That’s likely just a clogged PCV, very common on the M112/M113 it’s not the head gasket. Most people suspect the head gasket but 99% of the time it isn’t.
Tip. Carry a locking pliers clamp it on the hood strut. To hold up the hood.
I'd check the oil cooler first. It's the most likely place for oil to go into the coolant
You have great videos Mike.I have no doubt you will fix it
BLUE DEVEL works GREAT ✌️
Hi Mike I don’t think it’s ahead gasket the slim in the cap is usually a PCV valve the car looks like a good deal it it were an head gasket and running really hot from that distance great video you will make it purr 😊happy Friday
Hope everything turns out alright for the ML350 🤞. It’s a good deal if you get it repaired for cheap. 👍
Nice score on the Mercedes. I think you could bring her back to life.
Mike you and Randy should carry a small pair of vise grips for those hoods with bad struts. Hope this one doesn't need a head gasket. Good luck!
My gut says you’ll come out on top with this one.
That's a very good car Mike, a MB is the best cars and I love those ML suv's, go for t Mike.
Good luck Mike. I hope you can get it sorted out.
Some Blue Devil maybe?
@8:57 I am sure you turn the ghetto ML into a presentable one. 😊
Yaaaaaayyyy you made it home 😂. Great video Mike keep up the great work
Hi Mike, This will be an interesting one... can't wait to see what you find out on the next video, fingers🤞crossed its something simple. ✌
Nice car Mike, hope it’s ok and either way no matter what is wrong with it you are the man that car sort it. Next video on the car could be a first wash, would love to see that
Watch out for the Center Balance Shaft issue!
Hope it all works out! I had a 2001 ML320 that I restored. Sold it and regretted it since.
Check the PCV system. If it's clogged, it will trigger the oil and check engine lights.
That doesn't always mean Head gasket because when I used Kendall oil in one of my cars it always got milky, but when I used another kind of oil it never did it again, I found out it was the detergents in the oil breaking down.
You've resurrected worse, give her a chance! Congrats on a successful will it make it run. 👍
That's a cool vehicle, keep up the great work man,you get it perfect mate ok 😊😊😊😊
You will fix it mike, if not do it for us 😂😂
Mikey Mikey, Mikey what were you thinking?
He admitted that he wasn't! 😂
Congrats on the new project. What did you end up selling the ML55 for? I am still looking around for one of them. Keep up the great work.
Nice Deal Runs And Drives I Know Shell Be Fine With A Little TLC Back Bumper And Some Blue Devil Learned That From Randy @AAR

you can fix this one mike 👍
Good luck, mate. I love watching your channel, especially when you and Randy get together . Nice merc , from uk England Kent
Oh Mike oh Mike. Love the content even if you mess up here or there. Keep it up!
Great job getting the car home. Huggs ❤❤
Great content, beautiful Mercedes.
Some of that noise might be your power steering pump grinding due to low fluid. You did say it felt like your power steering was low.
That risky job reminds of the old stupid videos of Randy. Well done.
I reckon you can fix it ? Seems like a good buy , will be watching you repairing it !😊
Water is getting into the engine. Oil means you’ve cooked the head gasket, so you should ring Randy recovery. 😅😅😅
😮Highway to the Danger Zone! Gonna take it right into the Danger Zone! Highway to the Danger Zone Ride in, the Danger Zone
A day from H..E ..double hockey sticks.
Congrats that you made it home.🎉
I had the same issue with a valve cover gasket and moisture was getting in from valve cover gasket but once I replaced the valve cover gasket, it stopped

Oh my stars that was a stressful drive lol.
hello mike, clad you made it back home, i wonder if when the engine is cold you head gasket is blown, but when it gets to running temp it seals is self?
Well i like it. I think it will be great content for channel. Lets fix it up.
Perfect candidate for some Blue Devil
Have y’all thought of this being your tow rig? Good luck with disiding!

I understand you do this for content but the ml will give you simple fixes and excellent content 😅
Heck yeah! The Alabama Trashcan! Love ur other MBs tho Mike!
Does that have the oil cooler sharing the radiator? I thought some of these had mixing issues from broken oil cooler component of the radiator.
Great deal Mike!!!🙈🙉🙊 Have faith that isn't big damadge. Maybe drivetrain and stearing Wrack. Big schaut from Frankfurt
Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. The 2005 Mercedes ML350 is a good looking SUV even though it's got damage on the rear end and possibly drive train damage in the rear.
You can't stay away from a Mercedes dag.
One thing about it doesnt need a BATTERY 😂😂😂😂
You had a possible good tow vehicle with the Caddy…even with the miles.
MWM my friend,
I may have missed something: did you look at this Benz before you bought it?
Lot drive it?
The oil’s not on the ground, but the level keeps dropping. Not a good situation!

John your friend from Scotland
Hey Mike Lola and Benzo you should have called Randy got is trailer oh wait you sold the truck. Power steering oil is low. Check the head gasket first calm down. That milk shake can be just water on the cap what does the dip look like?
I have a few E320’s they all have moisture in the cap, none of them have a head gasket issue
that address does come back to broken arrow and there is a discount tire right next to the oil change place. so u could get an oil change and tires all in the same day.
Mike i love the ML Mercedes Benz not a bad price for it
Best of luck with this one
You got this mike. 😊
Hoping it’s not a head gasket.
That little air pump is great. I used mine today.
And I hope you found your wallet. When it rains, it pours.
This is another car that might bring great content, and a lot of cursing! Did I hear someone say to use Randy's fix?
Todays economy if it runs its worth $1000. Good video
You going to burn the power steering pump up I hope you put fluid in it
ML350 still has the M112 engine but punched out to 3.5L. have you sold the ML55 already? or just in love with your W163s?
Yup!
Nice car 🎉🎉🎉
I'm not sure about your mercedes addiction but it makes for interesting video
WOW, that's a real shock that you got a Merc Monkey Balls,....wonders will never cease.
NO worries Mike m112 is indistructibale... 😮
If it ends up being a head gasket try blue devil stuff like Randy does at aar
You have a very polite radio. I wonder if it also says thank you after the code is entered.
Mikey, I was sure you were going to detransition from Mercedes for a little while. You were looking at other cars and actually liking some, then next thing I know...poof! You bought another one. I was really hoping for other content on here besides the everyday...oh well.
I have same car !! 100 % not head gasket! That’s very common
The car may still have its original pcv valve ! Check the engine oil deepstick and it will look perfectly fine without milkshake
Hey Mike, is this an AMG?
So the stop signs are advisory like in Italy? Better these type of videos than those others have stopped watching the short ones.
Thanks for you show. You buy some clunkers so that we don't have to.
Hi mike
Hi milk??
Better than the Escalade, I think you were on a bender when you bought it. 😂
Glad you didn’t need a peanut butter sandwich or a tow!🤔🤔🤣
Another beat up Mercedes with very little upside that you will curse and wonder why you bought it. In others words, plenty of frustrated MWM content. Exactly why I watch your videos.
Wow Mike. Why did you buy that thing with a blown head gasket?
Did you watch the video ? He didn’t know it had a blown head gasket
100 % not head gasket issue! Pcv valve issue
Hm! 😢 the cursed one ...
Oh what has Lola's father done ?
That is what the noise was power steering
