I'm from New Zealand Met the singer Elizabeth at my local record store to promote the new album expert in a dying field She's such an amazing human being and I'm forever a fan of her and I'm proud to say I'm from New Zealand because of them
Huge 'The Beths' fan myself...New Zealand has the coolest retro bands like The Clean, Chris Knox, The Bats and many others. I've been obsessed with music from that country for a while now; I'm waiting for the "Kiwi Invasion" to hit America because it is overdue.
I need more songs in the sound of "Expert in a dying field" felt that the rest of the album just sounds more like their past stuff... which is good, but kind of a mush of the same. Alvvays is the band you are looking for. If you haven't picked up on them, catch up, they are hot right now

Future me hates me has one of my favourite closing songs on an album. Very emotional, sad but uplifting. Very much their thing!
I love the Beths! You should give Durry a listen! Their album suburban legend is amazing
I love The Beths! I went to one of their concerts (in America) and I stood just a couple feet from the lead singer. It was such a cool show
