I’ve disliked paper piecing the couple of times I’ve tried it. I think I will like it now doing it this way. Thank you for showing this!

I enjoy paper piecing also and have recently been ogling some of Judy N's patterns. The idea of having all of the papers preprinted for me is really attractive. I'm betting that if you just stick your toe in the water and look at the first step rather than the entire package, you'll be able to do it. I mean, how many truly different ways can there be to paper piece? Which pattern did you choose? Best of luck and I bet it will turn out great!

Oh sorry, I see you had this question a year ago! I hope you've finished it by now and got to show off your accomplishment!

Ok confused. Your saying to put first piece right side down and all the other pieces right side up. I always put first piece with right side up and the other pieces go over the top of the last piece right sides facing each other. When you tear off paper I guess you would come out same - I will have to try this but can you explain why you do it this way and what final looks like - would love to see final piece and removed paper. Thanks for video. I tried one of their patterns and didn't have good luck but willing to try again.

The 1st piece of fabric always goes Wrong side of fabric to Wrong/Back side of the pattern. Subsequent pieces of fabric go RST Right Sides Together. Hope that helps.

I have been trying for 2 days to understand the flying geese instructiions for "Flowers For My Wedding Ring" Ive cut out all the papers and it says to trace the dashed lines on the back side of the papers. I don't know why but I did it, even though I could hardly see the lines through the newsprint paper. Then the fabric ... Slip the next piece under here and the next piece under there, but unpick a few of the stitches. Its like latin. Ive done New York Beauties and recently Cinco de Mayo and they were fun, but this is the only quilt Ive started that is stressful and feels like a chore. I have decided to just do it my way, or leave out the geese altogether. Feel very disappointed
