My family nearly lost our home due to the E. U giving Ford Motor Company a cheap 80k loan to move to cheap labour Turkey on 2013. Fords of Southampton employed thousands of workers since the early 70’s. We now have 4 low paid jobs between the 2 of us to cover outgoings since 2013. That’s what the E.U did for thousands of people made redundant in Southampton due to encouraging greed. It’s the rich like you who don’t give a toss about hard working families.
@@chickedee1085 Hi, thanks for your reply. May I say i do give a toss, I really do, and I'm truly sorry about your difficulties. May I respond with this. There was nothing to stop the UK parliament introducing stronger minimum wage law to stop the cheap labour issue you describe - NOTHING. The minimum wage introduced by Labour, now the living wage under the Tories, was nothing to do with the EU, neither its existence nor its level, so it can be increased, and could have been before Brexit, at any time. Also, the EU allowed countries to have cautious immigration policies - look at Belgium for example, I know your point was about exporting jobs abroad, so I just mention that. Turkey isn't in the EU of course. So the despicable Ford decision - you mention 80k which to a company like Ford is peanuts - was a despicable business decision by them for which, may I suggest with full respect, they were to blame when you go to its root, not the EU. Please reply if you think I'm wrong - I'm always keen to learn! Best wishes.
😂😂😂 the ford motor story was nothing to do with a 80k EU invest 🤦 they spent millions relocationing and setting up shop in Turkey. It was purely a business decision. They went from making 22,000 vehicles in Essex a year too 185,000 in turkey. Turkey was the cheapest place they calculated they could go in Europe to do business...Europe the continent, not the EU. Turkey isn't a part of the EU, but a part of it is in Europe the continent. Sorry for your family issues, but don't blame the EU, blame the rich American business owners of ford who just want to make more money. The EU don't control where American companies set up shop
Well if it would be anything like the Rees-Mogg interview he did I wouldn't bother. O'Brien showed himself up there as well. Terrible presenter, sounds like a spoilt brat when it gets down to it.
Taken from UKIP policies: "(EU) Employment policies which make it impossible to employ. 1)Maternity leave. 2)Paternity leave. 3)Holiday entitlement. 4)Working time directive. 5)Minimum wage. 7)Unfair dismissal (Tribunals)" Unless you're a millionaire looking to open a workhouse, voting for UKIP is voting against your own interests. Good luck with that.
This is what leaving the EU is going to effect. But this is just a drop in the ocean of the problems. But all these people don't like employee rights. They don't like having a minimum wage to stop slave labour. Or maternity leave/pay for new mums/dad's. Being able to challenge unfair dismissal. The biggest one I have seen is "Right to free speech". This is an act of parliament which puts into UK law the European court of human rights. But oh well. All the leave voters hate the laws the EU make. Yet like freedom of speech.

Agree completely. Just another reminder Farage is a politician like all the others - he pretends not to be, but he is. Same background, same tricks, same rhetoric - pathetic.
But you see, a straight answer is very often a trap. If a journalist asks you "when did you last hit your mother?", what sort of a straight answer are you going to give? You could say "I never hit my mother!" to which the journalist's response is often "so you're in denial?" A detailed answer, with groundwork preparations for context etc., is often required in order to strike the correct tone which the journalist is (quite wrongly) trying to skew. Of course, a balance has to be struck between political spin and journalistic bias - between deference on the one hand and overly adversarial questioning on the other - but the politician has to be as defensive against the truth being skewed as the journalist has to be about it being obscured.

Love it! People complain that this country is fucked up, and yet stick in this ridiculous cycle of choosing between two parties. Neither of them are working, nor have worked for a while now. UKIP is change. Regardless whether it is good or bad. Sometimes any form of change is required to break the cycle. As an Infantry Officer, I also welcome UKIPs proposals to increase Military Funding. And, maybe one day, if he is voted into power, he'll allow us to deal with the plague known as Islamification with force.
I just wish people new that there was other parties than Conservative, Lib Dems, Labour and UKIP. There's this lovely little party called NO2EU that isn't quite as draconian as UKIP. They believe in workers rights. UKIP want to make it legal for a man to rape his wife which is something straight out of the EDL/BNP's twisted view of Islam. They also want to do away with Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Holiday Pay and Statutory Maternity leave. So when your missus gets pregnant and you are away fighting for your country and they say your kid has to go hungry from birth because the military should be paying you more, you tell me if you still welcome UKIP. This might not be the case for yourself if you are on a reasonable living wage, but for the millions of people in this country that aren't on a living wage it will be the case. People only seem to be noticing the policies of UKIP that might benefit themselves while ignoring all of the policies that are eerily similar to the policies of Nazi Germany pre WWII. I'm pretty sure our grandparents fought someone that had a lot of views similar to Farage in that war and they'd be astounded if they knew what his and his cronies views really were, sadly though the only policies we hear about are their views on immigration and leaving the EU. They believe in a lot more than that but who's to say they'll even stick by that, they change their policies more than I change my socks.
I sincerely hope you aren't serving in the British army, spouting nonsense like that! Don't you understand that killing people because of their ideology only inflames the situation and makes it far, far worse? Hasn't Iraq or Afghanistan taught you anything?
UKIP don't represent change. They are bankrolled by exactly the same banking and big business interests as the other parties. Sure, they pose as being a party of the people, but they are in truth nothing of the sort. Look at their actual policies. They are an extreme Thatcherite party who want to strip away employment regulations and privatise the NHS for the benefit of big business, for example. An awful lot of people are being duped by UKIP and will get a nasty surprise if they ever get any sort of power.
Bad change isn't change worth voting for, and to say you're just voting for change regardless of whether it is good or bad, you're voting for serious disappointment. Further you've decided a whole religion need to be killed and you want first pull of the trigger

@Taz Devil Can you explain what scaremongering he has said? Considering the £ is at a 32 month low and the economy has dropped for the first time in 7 years since the prospect of no deal has come about.
@Taz Devil Nothing to do with the fact that the economy was in the middle of a recession at that time. Then due to the severe cuts to services by the Tory government the economy did a bit better while a lot of the lower rungs of society suffered. Then the moment a no deal exit becomes a possible the £ dips twice in a week. First to the lowest in 2 years. Then the lowest in 32 months. This is the second quarter of the year and the economy has dipped. Yes I agree we are still in a positive thus far for the year by about 0.3% following the 0.5%in the first quarter. But to then take a drastic turn around and drop to minus growth by that amount is pretty significant. Another decline this quarter and we are back in a recession right before leaving the EU is not going to make us very attractive to potential investors. That and the possibility of refusing to pay for the commitments the UK has agreed to would effectively knock us right down. I know many factors could change that. But it is looking to be a bit of trend. Just look at everytime we have come close to leaving and look at what the value of the £ goes to. It's funny you mention that it is expected we are to do better than the others as currently looking we are still 5th on the list where we have been many years. But India and tipped to take over our spot in 2020 due to their forecasted growth and France is expected to be biting at our heals. Yet everywhere I am looking on economic reports are showing quite a bad picture from when we leave with no deal. A possible quarter off the value on the £. 30% off house values. (I know A lot of these will be brushed aside as project fear) but I have always planned for the worst and hope for the best. But sadly the worst does seem to be coming around. But time will tell.

I so wish this has been shown on prime time TV before the Brexit referendum.

If they would just say what they mean, admit when they've fucked up (even when presented with overwhelming evidence), I would respect them a whole lot more and in my eyes, it would make them more qualified to the classification of human being.
Agree completely. Just another reminder Farage is a politician like all the others - he pretends not to be, but he is. Same background, same tricks, same rhetoric - pathetic.
Had a job to get a word in sometimes!!
Farage didn't interrupt, O'Brien did though.

@@Willsey he has been bang on the money. You should listen to him.
@@Wolves942 I do listen to him giro. Every week day morning at 10 am. Hardly ever agree with him but I find it hard to turn off. He is infuriating. He has never got over brexit and should have had some counciling at some stage. He is very clever and won't tolerate any views that don't match his own. So just sneers and trys to trip them up.
@@Willsey you may not agree with him. But that doesn't make him wrong. He may wind you up, but it doesn't make him wrong. He is spot on about BRExit. Spot on about Boris, I disagree with him over the vaccine but he is probably right on that too.
He's a mud thrower, nothing more
I would like to see a similar interview with Jacob Rees Mogg. Regardless of my political bias I think all politicians should be interviewed similarly.
I think he did interview Mogg
@@kingflixmovies837 Yes but I do not think it was as cutting.
he did one and Mugg got put in the ground. it was truly pathetic.
I agree!!! But Why is he on a radio show that only people that agree with him listen to????? he needs to be heard
He’s interviewed Moggy and did get the better of him, but Moggy’s pretty unflappable and never lost his poise, unlike Farage who’s getting rattled here.
Feels uncomfortable hearing foreign languages and his wife and kids speak German! Sad part is, people will actually vote for this clown.
The point is on a train in The UK and everybody around you hasn't bothered to integrate. I would if I was on a train. That's not racist, they could be talking about you.
Jack Heybourne What exactly do you think "integrate" means, exactly? People can speak whatever language they bloody want. I sometimes speak German even though I'm English and it's obviously my first language - tell me, have I "not bothered" to integrate? It's xenophobia, plain and simple.
Jack Something People can speak any language they want, that's their choice, but I would feel uncomfortable if everybody around me was speaking a different language. I take back the not bother to integrate part, but some people don't, some people don't need to.
Jack Heybourne I am at university and there are times on the bus when I am alone where everybody around me is speaking in Chinese to each other. It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest because I'm not a paranoid loony. I know that if for whatever reason I needed to talk to them, they'd be able to respond in English. The lectures are in English so naturally every student here can speak English. Farage's point about schools is the same - why would there be kids in these schools that don't speak any English when every single lesson is taught in English?
Jaynohuz But unlike you or I, Farage might have reason to be paranoid of foreign speakers talking about him.
“I wanted to have dinner with him to find out why he’d changed his views”!!! What a load of bollucks
James bangining on about german speaking wives and kids and Farage ignoring it is just beautiful.
This guy is too blindingly bigoted to see himself clearly in the mirror. Does self awareness come to mind?

James: "Yes lets"!
Brilliant journalism.
In the eyes of you, yes. But you have to let the person being interviewed actually respond to some of these accusations.
Worst journalism ever - completely biased personal attacks on a person without letting him finish his answer. Nick Ferrari is a better interviewer
According to Europol, the main crimes being carried out are thought to be card-skimming and pickpocketing, with Romanian and Bulgarian gangs thought to be responsible for 90% of all card-skimming crimes in Europe
Europol has identified 240 organised crime gangs from Romania, which account for 6.7% of all criminal networks active in Europe, the Times reported

Thought James was very bad
Brilliant from O'Brien. Classic Farage - not really interested in the detail or being held accountable, just obscuration, obfuscation and redirection, much aped by those who unfortunately followed this path..
On the contrary it was Jim O'Gobshite that was obfuscating by not allowing Farage to get a word in edgeways. Asking 3 questions per second doesn't show Jim O'Gobshite had Farage on the ropes, it shows he's a massive tw@t who was afraid to let Farage answer.
Pro militarisation and demonising a whole group of people.
Yeah, THAT hasn't been done before....
Considering that Brexit won the referendum, how is that immigration plan going Nigel?
It's not nigels fault the elite establishment don't stop or limit immigration. The electorate has ben duped by the mainstream politicians who never had the will or means to limit immigration. It is the piticians of the main parties who should be made to answer questions of why or how they are enabling increased immigration after brexit!!😢
Thanks to Nigel’s drivel about immigration from the EU, we are now short of people in employment sectors like Airports, farming, food production the NHS, which is one reason why there are shortages of products on supermarket shelves, delays and cancellations at airports and prices are going up because companies can no longer employ people for the same money. Well done Nigel !!

RL You are a thicko m8.
Airport workers were laid off because of the snowflake government policy. Suddenly covid19 is over and airlines and airport management have been caught with their pants down. They were happy to take the government grants, but still laid off most of the workforce
Were are the supermarket shortages? The staff shortages were caused by covid again. You don't understood how the cheap labour has undermined the wage growth for over 20 years. You live in a lefty snowflake bubble fella!

Could just be time aging him.
This has just come onto my timeline. Wish someone would skewer the current crop of Tory politicians like this.
