I built it on the bank of one of the channels in the jungle on the Center Map. And kitted the Spino in downward towards the water. Which helped lock it in the Trap. But heck yeah M8 glad you figured it out 🤜🏾🤛🏾

Tried the trap tried building it various ways doesn’t work for me. Ended up taming the spino naked on foot with a crossbow anyway they were easier than expected
I've been cracking on trying to work it out since release, and although I've got a few, I still feel miles of having it all sussed out! Hopefully we get there someday!
@toastbloke most absolutely brother please do. Due to land claim on official servers it's hard to put a trap down at times and I have messed with several designs and they don't seem to get the job done like some of your designs. A mobile crab trap would be fantastic
Great for Noobs! Pros just shooting from the Back of a Trike or a Thyla. There is just 1 Dino that needs a Trap, the Giga. All others are easy going without.
That takes so much fun and creativity out of the game, though. Imagine if the devs made already built houses into the game, then we will never see all the creative houses and mansions the fan base can think of.

i was playing on the center and thought of taming a rex wathced your trap video then build the trap changed my mind and tamed a spino with your trap

You literally built it wrong then 😜 My guess would be you’ve not got the roofs high enough away from the ground due to your foundation placement.
