Its a side effect for sleeve and bypass patients. I have followed the virgin diet for a month in the hope i can calm my psoriasis. I have been all over the board with both diet and exercise - from extremely strict and intense with tons of cardio, to very lax, to intentionally eating high calorie, low satiety foods and avoiding movement for intentional weight gain - but your approach seems to live in the happy middle place I am ready to get to. I was had a few fears about weightlifting : fear of looking stupid or getting hurt because I don’t know what I’m doing, and fear of bulking up/gaining weight because I’d look less bigger or feminine. Your channel is fabulous because you break the weight training part down to help with the fears of not knowing what to do, and you are living proof that weightlifting doesn’t make you look “big” or any less feminine. Thank you for not gate keeping and for sharing your advice with us! 😊

Good description! I admit, I got "drunk" on Keto and even carnivore for a spell, eating ALL the burgers (no bun!) and bacon! 😂 When I sobered up and adopted a more balanced way of eating, I've seen much better results. 🎉

I buy pasture raised hamburger at Aldi at a good price. I buy chicken thighs pasture raised at my big box store. I watch the expiration dates and show up the day before. If some is left and not marked down I ask them to and tell them a reasonable markdown price and they usually comply or come close then I buy up as much as possible & put in the freezer. I get my wild sockeye Alaskan salmon at Costco. If you know someone who is a member you can trust give them the $ to buy a gift card for you which has no expiration date so you can beat the membership fee. They also have wild Alaskan cod.(very high in lean protein which I cook with a little goat or French A-2 cow butter & seasonings). By the way the chicken thighs are better than breasts as the former is higher in omega 3’s while the latter are higher in omega 6. Sardine, mackerel, herring tins go on sale all the time are generally low cost but go lower during sales and buy a bunch then. Seasons brand sell them skinless boneless are a clean high protein & omega 3 food. Stick with products that are packed in olive oil or natural brines. I make them more palatable by preparing them as tuna salad with a little avocado mayo and a small cup of guacamole ( from Aldi best priced) add seasonings garlic & onion powders sea salt pepper touch of stevia or equivalent and mixed it with small chopped celery (organic from Aldi) and a little smaller broken walnuts. Adding ground flax seed and hemp seeds to all boosts plant protein. Also you can make a mixture of fresh squeezed lemon juice with stevia ( or equivalent) and pour that on the tin fish which makes it more palatable.🌹
