Josh, Jenna and all the gang will be live from the theme parks and still showing you what's new at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Sea World and more on @ResortTV1 , but this channel will show more about our local haunts, neighborhoods, family friendly activities with the kids and how to move - and get to your new place in one piece.

Can't wait to see more. We plan to move to Florida in a year and a half when my husband is ready to retire. I am always looking at properties in the Davenport, Clermont and other areas closest to Disney World. Since we are older we have decided we would like to live in a 55 + community manufactured home we don't want a huge mortgage at our age but want to own the land not rent it. We don't need a huge lot. We a re not big yard people. Lol. Hope when the time comes you can help us out. Will definitely keep you in mind. Thank you.

Great idea guys! I hope you'll be providing a list of Veterinarians & 24 hr Emergency vets in the area, which will be especially helpful for visitors as well as new residents! Details of a trip can become stressful & overwhelming & no one is thinking about the possibility of pet illness. And if something happens, total panic can set in! Having a resource list of pet care, including options provided by Disney for daycare, sitters, etc., would be SO helpful and appreciated by people who have pets with pre-existing conditions or are suddenly faced with unexpected illnesses. Temperature changes in Florida alone can create huge health issues or worse! Along with a resource list, a list of things to look out for, (like temps in cars or hot surfaces) would help to keep a great trip from turning into a terrible experience! Thanks for doing what you're doing!!

This IS an excellent idea!! I know this will be a great help to many. My husband’s family and extended family members moved to FL in the early 1960s(maybe late 50s.) They moved from PA seeing the opportunity for their construction business to flourish in the initial wave of people moving to FL. They built many homes in what is now the older, original developments. Fast forward to today…it’s not easy to navigate heavily populated FL when you aren’t originally from there. I think this new channel is going to benefit many “neighbors!” While we are in PA, and not living in FL (yet!), we will enjoy where you take us. 😊

Hi Josh, also wanted to mention it would be useful hear how much homeowners insurance, pest control,lawn care,utilities,... average cost, so us northerners can make plans or dream plans for relocating. Thanks!
OOOOOO. These are great ideas! Thank you so much. We can definitely find a way to talk about some of these. A big conversation here is with solar panels, water purification systems, pool maintenance and more, too. This isn't something I had thought of. I will definitely add these to my list!

@ResortTV1-Homes I would love to see places where you could take elementary school-aged kids on adventures. I'm also looking forward to seeing information about different neighborhoods in the Orlando area.
@@sarahmarie8525 I'm definitely going to be showing great spots for younger ones. Since Liam is still a young learner, he will be helping me test out the fun.
It would be great to see some visits to your local small businesses, coffee shops, restaurants and even farmers markets. I’m a big believer in supporting small and handmade businesses. Museums, cultural activities and outdoor things to do would also be great. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with to share with us. 😊
These are all on my list for sure. The farmers markets near us are wonderful and I'm hoping to show libraries and playgrounds, too. I'm looking forward to diving into the museums with Liam and doing more of the local haunts, too! And definitely coffee shops. lol.

Hoping you show us all the neighborhoods and which ones to avoid.
As I'm navigating the newness of editing videos and all this, I'm definitely making plans to talk to Sales associates that know these areas and can help with questions. And areas to avoid or what to look for is definitely on my list.
This is so awesome! As you know we moved to FL a couple years ago and definitely picked the wrong area. In a few years when I retire , I want to move closer to Disney! Right now we are about 3 hours away due to FL traffic 😢 Thank you so much!🥰
The traffic here is seriously no joke. When we first moved here it was an hour from our front door to Columbia Harbor House door. As traffic got worse and worse, it took longer and longer. Now, even though we moved closer, it still almost takes that long. lol. Hopefully this will give you a head start on finding the location for you! Let me know what areas you are thinking and I can add them to the list!
@@ResortTV1Homes Thanks so much! We moved from the Philly area to Sarasota County and it’s just not what we thought. We have to stay here until I can retire in 4 years and want to move again….just some regrets but hopefully we can correct them! I’ll definitely be following along and be in touch Stef! Thank you for this question. While I can't talk about school areas specifically, there are a lot of differences between how our schools are organized here compared to other parts of the country. I plan to put some resources and information together to help families get started. This is definitely on my list.
