You mean Jim Steinman! If you want the pinnacle of his theatrical aspect with both the video production and his music, the next song should be his comeback song "I would do anything for love (but I won't do that.) HAS to be the official video, just trust me on this! The "drama nerd" in you will absolutely love that video!

Meat and Cher both grew up in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. In the late 1980s the two of them appeared on a UK chat show hosted by Terry Wogan. The second Meat appeared in the studio, he and Cher were just bouncing off each other and Meat was so talkative that poor Terry couldn't get a word in edgeways! It was broadcast on the 1st April, so I think someone at the BBC was pulling an April Fool's joke on Wogan, having those two big personalities on the same show together!

You would like his big comeback song from the early 1990's. It was a power ballad called ' I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That). Very 'theatrical' with a 'Beauty & the Beast' concept. It went #1 in 28 countries, and was his only #1 song on the Billboard charts.

Yes, it's Cher. And one of her friends is Linda Hamilton.
His best (and most theatrical) videos are Michael Bay's spectacular works for Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are and Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through. Both have people you'll recognize in the video...one with connection to Linda Hamilton.

This music video is actually a part of an entire musical feature film - titled 'Dead Ringer' after the album - starring Meat Loaf in two roles. The plot is about Meat Loaf going on a tour and being driven halfway crazy by his managers and producers and such, while a nerdy mentally handicapped man who looks and sounds exactly like him follows him around the country trying to meet him. The "music videos" for the songs on the album are mostly fantasy sequences from the film where Meat Loaf is imagining or dreaming something.
The movie is really obscure and never got a wide release but the whole thing is here on RUclips.

    Some of these have already been mentioned by others but some Meatloaf you need to check out still;
    Heaven can wait
I would do anything for love
    It just won’t quit
Objects in the rear view mirror
I’d lie for you (and that’s the truth)
    Left in the dark
    Where angels sing
Not a dry eye in the house
    For crying out loud
Meatloaf is an absolute brilliant performer and these songs showcase that as well as some fantastic vocals and storytelling (credit goes to a Jim Steinman for that too - the man was pure genius when it came to writing songs.

Would you please consider reacting to a Hawaiian singer named Israel Kamakawiwo'ole? He did a medley of What a Wonderful World/ Somewhere over the Rainbow in a single take as a demo that is legendary ( back in 1993 I believe.) Some people have chopped it into two separate songs but it's most uplifting in it's original combined form.

Amber, if you want theatrical, check out "Dance in my Pants" by Jim Steinman. He's the guy who wrote all of the Meat Loaf and Bonnie Tyler songs. He had one solo album and there's a music video for Dance in my Pants. It's a ton of fun and you can finally put a face and voice to the songwriting GENIUS who wrote all these amazing songs.

Amber, for your "Drama Nerd" side, you have to check out "I'll Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meatloaf. It is a modern-ish "Beauty & the Beast" tale.

“I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) - official music video. Maybe this song will make Jordan love Meat Loaf as much as Amber does.

Below recommended You Took the Words Right out of my Mouth. Great choice. I would also go For Crying Out Loud and All Revved Up With No Place to Go. And for some fun. Life is a Lemon and I Want my Money Back.

It’s fun that you enjoy the theatrical performance. Maybe you should your channels for a reaction on your movie channel and do “Tommy” a rock opera. Some other choices could be “The Wall” or “Quadrophenia” or another rock opera. My favorite would be “Godspell.”

If you really want to see a film that was a musical and "Springboarded" the careers of Tim Curry , Susan Sarandon , and Meatloaf watch " The Rocky Horror Picture Show" .
Meatloaf played the character "Eddie" singing as only he can wail it out " Hot patootie bless my soul "

Meatloaf,, Cher, Jim Steinman's writing and truly outstanding guitar and drumming. How can you NOT like "Deadringer for Love"! I like the quieter tracks like "Heaven Can Wait" as well. Of course there's also "Hot Patootie/Bless my Soul" on the Rocky Horror Show as well! Please, please review "Time Warp" from the Rocky Horror Show.
