My favorites are definitely Travant's neutral art, Garon's damaged art, and Walhart's special art. That 4th anniversary art also goes really hard. Shout out to Mendako who has only done Fates Arthur. A lot of people dislike the comic book style because it doesn't 'fit in' stylistically with everyone else, but I adore the thick lines and dramatic shading, not to mention Arthur's attacking pose being a super hero flying pose that works perfectly for his character. For a similar reason to Arthur, ignoring how it represents the character, Resplendent Lucina's art I actually really like. Vibrant colors and dramatic, hard shading is a beautiful combination, Falchion being one of the most wonderfully shaded things I've ever seen in this game. Her cape in the attacking art is beautiful, and the increased amount of black shading in the damaged art is so cool. But on the other hand, all of Nemesis's art is peak.
Thanks for talking about this, the artists deserve more praise, for their technical skill especially! Sometimes I see people complain if a character has a single odd feature and miss everything else. Like, I’d kill to be able to draw hands as well as Lloyd’s artist! I’m a huge fan of FEH’s more unorthodox artists. Yamada Akihiro’s Mila is one of my absolute favorites, and is very underrated. I’m amazed at how dynamic he was able to make Mila in that unique colored pencil style. It’s like she stepped right out of a tapestry, which feels perfect for an ancient magical dragon.
Resplendent Lucina is a sleeper favorite of mine personally. I know why people dislike with how Himukai's chibi aesthetic makes Lucina look like child-like, but the dude has an amazing grasp of light, shadow, and color. It really culminates in her special art where the Falchion starts glowing, and it casts her body in shadows and draws immediate attention to the exalt's brand glowing in her eye, and likewise the contrast of her bright wings to her body cast in shadow almost gives the illusion that they're glowing in the dark.
Exactly! Not to mention Lucina wants to defeat Grima so the world can be saved and her and her friends can live out normal childhoods. I feel like her Resplendent is supposed to represent her desires for innocence and a happy childhood, as well as the fact she is Chrom's child from the future and is a baby in his timeline. Plus, the butterflies are a nice touch because of Lucina having a blue butterfly motif in Awakening.
My favorite is probably Eitri's special art. I already like her design a lot (cool combination of traditional witch and scientist looks, the hair going through the hat is a really fun element) and this art makes her look absolutely unhinged.
Naga is for sure one of the best art. She jsut look SO DIVINE, SO GRACEFUL. And the galaxy thing behind her is really nice too. One of my favorite in the all game, probably next to Fallen Berkut (and Brave Alfonse now, cause that boy deserved such an amazing costume)
ullr goes so unbelievably hard for no reason considering her role in her home game. Rika truly never misses and I pray that they are the artist for the alleged FE4 remake. Also shoutout to Fallen Edelgard for having my favorite art in the game. Clover K was able to make her look so intimidatingly and powerful in her attacks, yet her damage art is so calm and detached. Plus the decision to make her cape look like wings is such a nice touch. The combination of unstoppable chaos and commanding beauty perfect for Edelgard
Honestly my favorite set of art is Fallen Male Corrin because argon always pops off in their artworks but man... I specifically adore Resplendent Brave Roy's neutral pose, the dramatic lighting on his hair and chestplate is just amazing. The contrast between Durandal and Roy encapsulates his character growth in FE6 - a kid who was forced into a role he wasn't ready for, yet he still takes up the blade and fights. Another personal favorite of mine is Hatari Xane, drawn by Yo Kanzawa. His hair looks really fluffy in his neutral art and the design for the Serpentine Staff is so cool. He looks like he's having a good time!
Still playing the game after 8 years, I may have no idea what the recent characters might do but their art always goes incredibly hard, my personal favourite artists are Haccan and Teffish. Sick editing btw
i always love literally anything by azu-taro, Yoshiku, and Asatani Tomoyo, (Favorites by each being Legendary Lilina, Mirabilis, and Duo Eirika respectively) and many more but also a special shoutout to Valentines Faye, Spring Marisa, and Summer Cordelia for having (imo) some of if not the best art in the game

My favourite still being Bramimond, the fact that they got a voice(s) in FEH is amazing, but the art as well. The special art really makes them feel like this mysterious and powerful magic being. My favorite art in the entire game goes to Limstella. They are just SO pretty, and their attack/special arts are direct nods to their official art's posing.
Asatani tomoyos art for eirikas red mage alt is so underratedly beautiful. the detailing and elegance of eirika kinda reminds me so much of Renaissance era art. Anything by sukuki rika and yoshiku are real beautiful as well.

i absolutely love all of kozaki yusuke’s art, especially with the newer heroes. he uses the same pose for the standard attack and damaged, which makes the new illustration of their special attack all the more dynamic! it actually makes me feel that their special is powerful, that it takes their entire being to wield their weapon! my all time favorite from him is fallen chrom!
One of my favorite alt and art recently it's from Winter Dimitri cuz it's nice to see Dimitri happy for once and his winter outfit is like a mix of his armor and the clothes he wears on the AM ending tapestry which are very cozy Also the young awakening banner, everyone looks so cute
To be fair, they kinda had to go crazy. I remember when the game first launched, and people gave it a lot of shit because a good chunk of the launch characters had mediocre art. Later on, some of the launch characters would also get alternate/improved art in the form of Resplendents.
i have a soft spot for the adrift banner artworks, especially camilla since in fates we only really got to see azura and anankos with regards to valla fashion, seeing new ways the aesthetic could be styled was so cool and it all looks so ethereal, matching perfectly how that banner was all about being inside a dream. the light butterflies glowing gold in the special skill artworks especially elevates it for me!
My number one spot goes to Ymir, her dress transitioning to grass and water looks so breathtaking. The birds picking up her dress on every art are cute and the way she protects them on the damaged art is just adorable. On top of that she has the best chiby art in her dragon form, her horns being branches and the tail turning into water is absolutely amazing. Truly a god of life itself.
My personal favorites are basically all characters drawn by Wada Sachiko! Especially Legendary Hector. Besides Sachiko's art, I do love and appreciate the artworks for Legendary Lilina, Fallen Dimitri, Acended Fir and Niðavellir the most!
Love the Fallen Corrin shoutout! argon is my top favourite FEH artist and Fallen Corrin is the unit that made me a fan of them. As for a favorite artwork, it's hard to pick, but for me right now, it's gotta be Rearmed Líf special art. The lighting from the sword and the pose goes really hard. But honestly, the artists went so hard for this game it's insane. Great job on this video! I can tell that the editing took a long time. And I can't wait for part 2 should you decide to do it!

Essual has definitely become one of my new favourite artists in Feh, despite them only doing a few pieces. I remember thinking last year how cool it would be if they were to do one of the CYL pieces, and then they absolutely knocked it out of the park with Brave Corrin

clicked bc of the valentine's comic ike bc that's the first time sumia showed up in the feh 4koma, and alongside valentine frobin which is one of the best things feh has ever done for me as a sumirob fan. sumia's feh unit art is also super pretty, easily being some of my favorite in the game. it's just a shame we don't have more of it. hopefully someday we'll get a sumia alt (and one i can pair with one of my many frobins 🤭).
some of my other favorite arts are brave marth (biased bc he's my favorite unit in the game), legendary m!robin, valentine frobin (she's so pwetty), and the halloween corrin twins. im probably biased bc they're my main team lol. and brave m!robin and brave frobin wearing the same outfit makes me actually really happy. anything to fuel my twin headcanon😊

If I listed them all, I’d be here all week. So instead, here’s a few off the top of my head! - Muspell and Flame Tribe Muspell’s Special Art where he’s covered in smoke. Literal chills - Every single Valentines Alt goes fucking hard for no reason (personal favorite is the M!Robin/Chrom Duo) - Ascended Idunn - ASCENDED JOSHUA. Okuma Yugo DOES. NOT. MISS. - Resplendent Ike - Brave Eirika with her in a ponytail. If anyone’s played FE8, they remember the convo of Ephraim teasing her while with Lyon saying he can sneak out and be a merc while she rules instead of him. AND THEY MADE IT REALITY.
I haven't seen many talk about how good the art of feh is so this is nice to see! Some ones I really love are: Teatime Tailtiu's art, base Zephiels and base indunns!
Resplendent Innes has a beautiful special art with the glimmering colors! Resplendent Eirika has such beautigul glowers and this pink aura that really encapsulates her Ljósálfar vibe! Eleonara has a beautifully colorful art, and I love how her arrow changes into a electric arrow since she uses zio skills in TMS! Then there is Legendary Deirdre who just has beautiful art all around!
Eitri's special artwork. That wicked crazed grin on her face is so dang awesome. Fallen Robin's grinch face on his damaged art as well. Brave Chrom's special looks like he's about to pin them down hard from above. And for some degeneracy... MYTHIC LOKI'S DAMAGED ART
Sometimes i don't quite have a favorite art, but a favorite ARTIST. Everytime certain artist release units i just get the intense urge to have a copy just to stare at them. I adore so much how HACCAN (Nephenee, L!Edel, A!Micaiah) and Ekyo Yuichiro (Selkie(s), N!Hana) use soft colors on their girls, the sterness and seriousness of Soeda Ippei (Dorcas, Travant, Garon) men, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ABOUT AKIRA EGAWA (L!Seliph, ALL OF THE CIPHER ART), HOW DOES HE MAKE SUCH BEATIFUL GOLD? However, if i had to pick a few as my personal favorite picks of all of FEH... Summer Vaike is so dazzling and colorful, the way all the colors pop and join in harmony on Vaike of all characters just wins me over. Ninja Hanna also does it for me, same reasons but with softer and fuzzier colors; the special art then manages to make her feel actually dangerous, even using all of those pastels. Honorable mentions to both Selkies, Res!M!F!Robin (Base Grima lol), B!Gatekeeper and Formortis.
It has to be Resplendent Eldigan and Fallen Berkut, but hands down, that majority of the games art is just good to absolutely amazing, sometimes even if it doesn’t necessarily matches your personal taste. But what is even sicker imo is the progression of art you can see during the games lifespan, especially for certain artists that are being there for more or less the beginning and sometime there are worlds between some of their old and some of their new pieces. :D Definitely the artworks in FEH are imo one of the key factors that are making the game great, especially with the big variance between all the pieces by such a big list of different artists.
Its honestly amazing exactly how much cash companies pump into their monile games. Between the bevel of bangers we get with each feh banner and the bops Konami puts into Duel Links with each new character unlock event, im eatin good.
Big fan of all of motsutsu/ trys inc's artwork. They do a ton of villains that all have a smirk in their specials. So cool and menacing. Shout out to arion and geese as my favorites though.
book 4 was literally amazing, some of the best stuff i've ever seen, but i agree that book 7 kinda fell flat (Unlike the characters lol). i think more than anything the writing felt worse than usual, but also i have a theory that IS forced Yoshiku to give the characters curvier bodies so that they'd sell better

My favorite artist is PenekoR hands down. But Emblem Marth, Azu-Taro’s Attuned Eirika is a banger, Resplendant Innes, Mila because I’m not cringe and think that art style is bad. Base, and Fallen Lumera + MAlear all sharing the artists is both cute and just the shading is insane
Oh and my favorite character is Gilliam and his art is great. DAI-XT is known for a Type Of Men He Draws but his armor shading and details is INSANE. Flame Emperor, Gilliam, and Resplendent Sheena are all so great. And this is coming from someone who was worried DAI-XT was gonna be the artist for Gilliam since Osian is my least favorite art in the game. Was a blessing it was just one thing I didn’t mesh with rather than my favorite guy get bad art which would’ve ruined my entire life
Gullveig’s Brave Art is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Unquie color scheme Symbolism THE SNAKES 🔥🔥🐍🐍 Had my friends rate it without knowing feh and they agree it’s at least top 3 like YOSHIKO COOKED there! Fomortis is AMAZING too like the EFFORT that was put in such a masterpiece with how the scales POP makes me so happy.
Sometimes I'll use an awful unit only cuz they're art and voice lines are very cool. Therefore, I think IS did good enough design at making units desirable than just the stats and skills.
Until just a few days ago the only thing keeping this game installed was the art. I wouldn't even play the game I'd just login and admire my characters art lol

I have no favorite art, but favorite ARTISTS: Wada Sachiko, Okuma Yugo, Kita Senri, Asatani Tomoyo and argon all have some of my favorite arts in the game. There are way too many heroes where I sometimes just try to summon them for the art alone. xD

clicked bc of the valentine's comic ike bc that's the first time sumia showed up in the feh 4koma, and alongside valentine frobin which is one of the best things feh has ever done for me as a sumirob fan. sumia's feh unit art is also super pretty, easily being some of my favorite in the game. it's just a shame we don't have more of it. hopefully someday we'll get a sumia alt (and one i can pair with one of my many frobins 🤭).
some of my other favorite arts are brave marth (biased bc he's my favorite unit in the game), legendary m!robin, valentine frobin (she's so pwetty), and the halloween corrin twins. im probably biased bc they're my main team lol.
and brave m!robin and brave frobin wearing the same outfit makes me actually really happy. anything to fuel my twin headcanon😊

Resplendent Innes has a beautiful special art with the glimmering colors! Resplendent Eirika has such beautigul glowers and this pink aura that really encapsulates her Ljósálfar vibe! Eleonara has a beautifully colorful art, and I love how her arrow changes into a electric arrow since she uses zio skills in TMS! Then there is Legendary Deirdre who just has beautiful art all around!
Eitri's special artwork. That wicked crazed grin on her face is so dang awesome. Fallen Robin's grinch face on his damaged art as well. Brave Chrom's special looks like he's about to pin them down hard from above.

Sometimes i don't quite have a favorite art, but a favorite ARTIST. Everytime certain artist release units i just get the intense urge to have a copy just to stare at them.
I adore so much how HACCAN (Nephenee, L!Edel, A!Micaiah) and Ekyo Yuichiro (Selkie(s), N!Hana) use soft colors on their girls, the sterness and seriousness of Soeda Ippei (Dorcas, Travant, Garon) men, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ABOUT AKIRA EGAWA (L!Seliph, ALL OF THE CIPHER ART), HOW DOES HE MAKE SUCH BEATIFUL GOLD?
However, if i had to pick a few as my personal favorite picks of all of FEH... Summer Vaike is so dazzling and colorful, the way all the colors pop and join in harmony on Vaike of all characters just wins me over.
Ninja Hanna also does it for me, same reasons but with softer and fuzzier colors; the special art then manages to make her feel actually dangerous, even using all of those pastels.
Honorable mentions to both Selkies, Res!M!F!Robin (Base Grima lol), B!Gatekeeper and Formortis.
It has to be Resplendent Eldigan and Fallen Berkut, but hands down, that majority of the games art is just good to absolutely amazing, sometimes even if it doesn’t necessarily matches your personal taste.
But what is even sicker imo is the progression of art you can see during the games lifespan, especially for certain artists that are being there for more or less the beginning and sometime there are worlds between some of their old and some of their new pieces. :D
Definitely the artworks in FEH are imo one of the key factors that are making the game great, especially with the big variance between all the pieces by such a big list of different artists.
Its honestly amazing exactly how much cash companies pump into their monile games. Between the bevel of bangers we get with each feh banner and the bops Konami puts into Duel Links with each new character unlock event, im eatin good.
Big fan of all of motsutsu/ trys inc's artwork. They do a ton of villains that all have a smirk in their specials. So cool and menacing. Shout out to arion and geese as my favorites though.
My favorite FEH artists are Mikuro and Kozaki Yusuke. I really love Camilla, I literallg play the game just to collect her

Yoshiku's art is goated, even though I didn't like feh OCs from book 7
book 4 was literally amazing, some of the best stuff i've ever seen, but i agree that book 7 kinda fell flat (Unlike the characters lol). i think more than anything the writing felt worse than usual, but also i have a theory that IS forced Yoshiku to give the characters curvier bodies so that they'd sell better

My favorite artist is PenekoR hands down. But Emblem Marth, Azu-Taro’s Attuned Eirika is a banger, Resplendant Innes, Mila because I’m not cringe and think that art style is bad. Base, and Fallen Lumera + MAlear all sharing the artists is both cute and just the shading is insane
Oh and my favorite character is Gilliam and his art is great. DAI-XT is known for a Type Of Men He Draws but his armor shading and details is INSANE. Flame Emperor, Gilliam, and Resplendent Sheena are all so great. And this is coming from someone who was worried DAI-XT was gonna be the artist for Gilliam since Osian is my least favorite art in the game. Was a blessing it was just one thing I didn’t mesh with rather than my favorite guy get bad art which would’ve ruined my entire life

Sometimes I'll use an awful unit only cuz they're art and voice lines are very cool. Therefore, I think IS did good enough design at making units desirable than just the stats and skills.
Until just a few days ago the only thing keeping this game installed was the art. I wouldn't even play the game I'd just login and admire my characters art lol

I never get tired of looking at Legendary mRobin and how much thought and love was put into each detail. That damaged art makes me swoon each time😍 i appreciate sooooo much we always get 4 works than some special effects slapped on🫶
