Been watching you for years. You’ve absolutely influenced my entire photographic style and have had a huge impact on helping revitalize my love for photography. So happy to see your work showcased like this! Congrats brother!
Hey Jason, my kids (age 8 and 12) love watching your videos. We love your pics and enjoy your creativity. Keep creating, brother. You bring joy and laughter to our hearts. So proud of you. Keep at it.
Despite your wonderful dry humour (correct spelling coz I'm English) and modesty, you are clearly a well respected photographer not only by fans and subscribers like us, but also by other professional photographers. Thankyou for sharing your first, and very successful, gallery experience.

Those photos are phenomenal! I’m actually visiting Nürnberg in a couple of days, definitely on my bucket list for the trip. I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now, and it was one of your videos which got me to dig around in one of my dad’s old boxes for his Praktica. I’m 17 years old, so I don’t have any experience with film in my childhood whatsoever, but I like that you have to take a step back and think more in depth about the photo you’re taking. Paired with some pretty fast GDR glass I did get a couple of bangers within my first couple of rolls. While I prefer my DSLR and hopefully soon some sort of Sony A7 for faster movements, or in my mind anything that’s unlikely to go to plan within the first couple of shots, film does now have a very special place in my heart and you were a big reason for it. Keep up the good work and congratulations!
Id like to mention, the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f-1 is a jaw dropping lens. I use it almost exclusively for low light work, and its performance at f-1 floors me every time, but it is sharper than essentially every 50 I've ever used, the downside being it is large, but not as large as the 50 Noctilux .95, which it blows away at 1/13 the price. It is worth every penny at about $1700 new.
Nice! Your videos help me relax after work. I just developed my first roll of film ever (35mm Ilford HP5). Last time I shot film was literally 20 years ago. It was so cool to see the little rectangles of success when I took the film out of the tank.
Hey Jason, was an honor meeting and hanging out with you and Caleb in my hometown Nuremberg! "Legendary" is slightly exaggerated, but I will take it 😂. See you in December!
Shot with provia 400f the other week and was blown away with the results. I'd recommend trying that. Also to anyone considering an RF, look at a Zeiss Ikon. They're much newer and can still be repaired with all the same features aside from auto wind I believe
Congratulations on your gallery! Can't think of a more deserving artist out there right now, you're truly inspiration for us beginner photographers. Keep it up, Jason.
As someone who has both hosted gallery events for other artists and had a few of my own shows, I know how nerve racking it can be. Congrats on getting out of your comfort zone and, above all, for being featured!
You did an amazing job at the gallerie(s!)!! What amazed me the most was how much time you took for everyone who wanted to meet you. The energy you and @badflashes brought to the opening was infectious. Everyone around at the Leica store was so creative and inspiring to talk to. I believe this wasn’t "just" an important day for your German and European fanbase, but also a much-needed day for the German analog scene to come together, meet new people, and find others to hang out and shoot with. Much love from Germany once again! May we meet again in December
Jason, thank you for all the content and you’re always an inspiration for me and after I watch your videos, you inspire me to get off my butt and go shoot. You have a lot more to give to the community than you think. Thank you.
If you come back in December, it'll be when the famous Christmas market is open! Make sure to try the mulled wine and gingerbread, we export that stuff to Africa even lol
Video @ 9:55 - "this toddler" - Okay, now that's A REAL commitment to photography. A child running possibly into traffic, and Jason thinks about shooting a BANGER I wonder if it were BAXTER running down the block - - -
Wait, since when does Jason have a DIGITAL Leica camera? That's new, isn't it? Anyway, congrats on your first gallery, my dude! I've been subscribed for a couple of years now, and I always enjoy your videos and your photos.
Congratulations!!! I’m really happy for you! The images you make are truly inspiring, and I love the way you present yourself. I know a lot of people would claim they have it figured out, but in reality, we are all learning … even after 40+++ years. Great job!
been so often to nuremburg and live not that far away. surreal to see the city in your video. Def changes my view of the city. So often i thought i dont find a pleasing composition.
Seeing this makes me excited for my trip to Germany coming up in the next couple weeks. It’s for work, but I’ll have some days to be a filthy tourist and hopefully take at least one solid photo.
Was an absolute pleasure to have been there, see your photos up close and personal and have a little chat with both of you! From the dude with the Purple Rain shirt. ✌
I actually think the topic of format choice is really important and nuanced. I imagine most people dont think about camera sensors the same way you think about film.
Love your work, you're a great inspiration! Would you consider making a video about how you organize your portfolio? I've got envelopes of negatives and digital scans all over my phone and computer. Curious about your process
Thank you for your pictures you gave me after I gave you my pictures. It was really nice to give each others photos. I still support your videos and photos
I love how you've finally stopped burying the lede and now the thumbnail lets us know there's shit inside.

Always a smile on my face when watching your videos! Thank you from the grainy Netherlands!
I love how Jason and Caleb adapted to german culture and got some kebab after a long night out!
We have been blessed with a 27 minute Grainy Days video 😫

Seeing @KarinMajoka be around Jason feels very surreal since I've been watching both separately for a WHILE
wearing a twilight shirt for a big presentation is such a power move
Congratulations Jason. You've helped me and so many through our own photography journeys through these videos and your work, keep going strong
Congrats Jason. I love that photo on the right at 10:55. You definitely nailed the Hopper feel. It's mesmerizing.
I actually purchased a print of the Roy‘s sign there. 🙏❤️
brilliantly done Jason! Love the work soo much! Congrats mate and come make your exhibition in London!
Congratulations on your shows! I always look forward to your videos. Your deadpan self deprecating humor takes your videos to the next level for me.
