Hell yes the sn95 is a do all platform, it is litterly a super Fox just smidge heavier but thats easily resolved. Sn95 chassis do well in stock form a "fox" needs upgrades, in stock form they have issues. I have 95 gt but Personally if i had to pick a engine platform id go with the 94/95s 5.0 not that the 4.6 2v is bad its just for cost of HP, you can make more power cheaper from a 5.0 than the 4.6 2v and ease of working on it 5.0 hands down, the obd2 on 96+ thing is nice tho.
Nice video! Here's an idea, have a camera mount on the cage so you can get a more centralized viewing angle. Additionally, it might be worth it to position a camera near the foot controls as well so you can sync both videos and show the audience your foot work while you drive.
im gonna be getting a sn95 this weekend for my drift car I cant wait. I have a miata rn but with its total of 113 hp i cant do anything in this thing. Gonna be sourcing ur video for my next mods on it!
Hell yeah dude that’s sick! Lmk if you have any questions. One thing I changed since the video is I went with the Duncan stage 3 angle kit and it’s WAY better.
@@alep_sn9550 got the car but this one has a 302 small block sat in it. picked it up for 1400$ guy couldnt get it to start. All I had to do was crimp one connection to the battery and it fired up immediately. ENOUGH ABOUT ME u should post more drift vids there isnt enough sn95 drift content : )
Thanks! Stock shaft had a ton of slop in the rubber rag joint. Detroit shaft has no play and is serviceable with replaceable u joints. Even my Maximum motorsports shaft developed play and being able to replace worn u joints is key.
Cool build if you had your choice of power upgrades what would you do I want to build another sn95 for drifting I was thinking cams and a blower would that be good for drifting? 😅
Thanks man. For drifting I’d stay away from a blower, have heard of people having belt issues on drift cars from the fast free revving and clutch kicks and limiter (just what I’ve heard. But I’d do a PI swapped 4.6 with some valves, springs, and Todd Warren Cams. Should be around 320 wheel.
@@alep_sn9550 yea I was thinking that or what you said but with ported heads and headers and gutted like crazy have u seen any turbo 2v out there drifting by chance would that be good for drifting I am going turbo on my street car now when I upgraded everything on my current car again I we probably have a on3 turbo kit left over after getting a precision turbo
I’m running a catch can now from Amazon (discontinued now) but it’s very similar to the mishimoto one and any should work. The breathers were just 10mm breather filters from advance auto. Part number 3991 I think. It’s been a while.
Do you have a link to the hime joints and spacers? I ended up buying the scottid kit and was wanting to do everything you’ve done to yours including moving the steering rack and making solid mounts, if you could go into detail with some of that it would be really helpful thanks!
Dm me on insta I’ll try and get you squared away. Since the video I sold my scotidi kit and bought a Duncan kit haha, I’ll run down that setup some time. @ is same as on here.
You should completely continue pursuing RUclips, you're really good at it. Currently working on setting up my 2000 New Edge. I have a lot of decisions to make when it comes to picking angle kits DDC, FDF, & DP. coilovers BC racing, Feal Coilovers. Not really big on BC's because they won't allow me to run my Maxim Motorsports Caster Camber plates.
@@thirdgearboogie2210 thanks dude. I probably will when I have some updates Lol. For angle kits I’d say that no kit is completely perfect, I’ve heard of the FDF being a little easy to bend and stuff, Duncan kit requires a good amount of cutting, DDC is very entry level angle 50 vs the 65 of both the FDF and Duncan/Mass. so it’s kind of like which factor is more important to you; angle, ease of install, durability, etc. For coilovers, BC and Feal will be functionally identical if you order the BCs with custom rates and valving. Personally with the Duncan/Mass kit (I sold the scotidi kit) I can get a very reasonable alignment with BCs. -5.5 camber, ~8* caster.
@@alep_sn9550 There are so few people setting up these cars like this. It is really hard to find good information. I definitely appreciate yours. I was told BC does not adjust the shock valving when you order custom spring rates. Maximum Motorsports said that I had to run their Caster Camber plates in order to have proper shock travel. Appreciate the replies man🤘
No prob man. BC offers custom valving on almost all of their shocks/struts. Just have to ask for it. As for travel, I’m not an expert, but at a moderate ride height, I’ll rub on the fenders, because the wheel sticks out past the fender, before I hit my bump stops. And I almost never rub unless I hit railroad tracks as a jump 😂 hit me up on insta if you have any more questions or anything same @ as here
Not gonna lie i thought i clicked on a Chrisfix video but not disapointed 💯💯
simple car that looks, works and sounds fantastic. love it !!

Will do! I have a pretty sick event coming next weekend I'm hopefully gonna get a lot of good footage at. I need to post again haha.
Raceway park never let's anyone down amazing track
Keep it going man just stay consistent so you pop up on more people’s feeds

the reische racing 170 stat with a 3 core radiator with fan settings according to reische will help tremedously.
Yoo I came across your channel by total coincidence, I'm glad I did bc you're pretty thorough on your parts, hoping to learn more from you soon. 🤙🏿
🙏 haha glad I can help. Hopefully more videos once the cage gets put in.
can’t wait to see more vids n see that cage in there💯
bro i love the gtaV beats in the background xD
lol i love having music goin in the car when I'm on track
Very informative video. What benefit did you see from the Detroit Drift steering shaft? Were you seeing issues with the stock shaft?

Amazing!!
Try Restore brand Engine Restore, it got rid of my smoking exhaust and crankcase pressure on my 230k mile gt, the only engine additive I recommend
ThankYou Man

@@outlawstang I have a friend that’s gonna try to bring out a turbo 2v new edge, I’ll let you know how that goes. Have seen turbo SBFs work as well.
You've a full cost breakdown?
Really nice to begin with, sub ist there :)
No probs with unscripted video, a lot of info in here.
Where can I get a replacement hydro line I just need one of mine got cut ::

What master cylinder integral is best for this kind of setup ?
the 04 is a better platform imo
I’m assuming the oil pan on a OBS sn95 is the same size as the new edge?
Yep all the same. Cars are virtually identical except for valve covers, heads, cams, intake manifold.
@@alep_sn9550 dope, I know my 06 crown Vic p71 had those extra things you are mentioning, to keep temps down would you also run a oil cooler?
nice
I thought this was chrisfix
no you should get a prius
Maybe with these gas prices…
Do you happen to know anybody with the FDF angle kit on an SN.
I do, @joeyvargo on insta has it.
