I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to sneak out that day. I’ll know more after this week. I’m definitely slowly improving but getting proper tires and coil overs helped me a lot. This car is definitely a fun car to drift and drive.
I drift a 99 Miata and love it, but I’ve hit a wall with power unless I go turbo. Really looking into the new edge , love seeing more people go this way!
Always glad to See someone using another newedge, I built mine into a comp car because I wanted too not because I needed. Also it looks like you are suffering from the typical worn 8.8 lsd not locking up issue and is probably the reason your understeering so hard instead of getting into drift
4:10 gearing will help you throw the car around in 2nd gear…in my opinion! Great content! new subscriber! excited to see all the progress with the drift stang💪🏼
just suscribed to see your progression in drifting and modifying the car. great looking car! I'll have to make mine look just as good, i recently got a beat down one out of curiosity😅
Awesome! For what they are and what you can get them for they are really a bargain. I will be making more drifting content soon. I have an event tomorrow, so stay tuned!
@@LowBoostFilms heck yeah i agree, they are such a bargain compared to European cars, i wish i went to one earlier. I've been seeing another diyer who threw in a cheap 1k turbo kit on these 4.6l with 8psi and -17 degree of timing for 400+hp. that's bargain on a stock blockee
i drift my 2000 gt a little bit and have only ever really hit first gear. It’s hard to snap 2nd gear or maybe i’m just scared. I drove my friends gto at the track and the 2nd gear shift while the wheels were spinning felt like i could fly
Yea, this thing slides fine doing first gear donuts in parking lots, 30 mph 2nd gear drifts are different. Look at my newer videos with proper tires and coil overs, it’s a different animal.

as a broke college student, KEEP DRIVING NEVER STOP!!! motivating me to work harder to build a car. Blessings to you brother
Yes! Keep grinding. As long as you still have passion for cars the money will come and you can be a 40 year old 12 year old like me haha
love finding other drift stang content creators. just picked up an s197 that im building. nice vid dude, car sounds great
Thanks! I’m really excited to make this thing my own and a capable drift car
hope to see you nov 2nd!! just picked up a new edge myself. Used to drift with an e46 at lebanon valley

Once you weld the diff it will be perfect my first drift car was a new edge
I want to do one more track day with it before I weld the diff. It needs an angle kit first.

Subscribed! Looking forward to seeing some progress!
I feel you. The new edge has plenty of power to drift it’s just soft and needs suspension.
Just got a new edge to drift hope so to see more videos about it soon
I definitely have some coming up. Stay tuned.!

Maybe you’re right, according to the previous owner he did just put a new 4:10 in there so I was hoping it would last.
@@LowBoostFilms I’ve rebuilt like 7 8.8 rear ends at this point for drift cars and it’s super common. I highly recommend just welding it
Oh I have been waiting for this moment
Hopefully you enjoyed it then!

According to the previous owner it does have them. Some more mods next before my next event
Would 4.55 be too aggressive for an automatic? Street daily driver ?
Yes waiting for it 🙋♂️. Definitely making me want to buy a drift car right now 🤣
Yes! I’m happy so far it’s a lot of fun

i highly recommend the scotidi angle kit
I’m really considering it!
@@LowBoostFilms its overpowered lol, its actually hard to spin out
What about the diff can you use stock diff or does it need welded if u had the angle kit
@@BradFFAI could weld it but that’s not the problem. I really needed better tires in the front and stiffer suspension. That made a huge difference
its a work in progress my man next time will only get better !
I’m excited to modify it and see how it does.
I need to get mine together and get out there with you
Yes you do!
Did that seat hold you well enough actually drifting on a track or do you wish you had more support on the sides??

Yea, it’s definitely more challenging. Clutch kicking it helps a lot.
i drive a 2000 v6, i kick that shit in 2nd. its definitely possible in a gt lol
Is that a Cressida I see 👀 gotta get mine out there..
Yes, it is! And yes, you do!

Worked great I was planted
No cap I’ve only done it in parking lots and im pretty sure I can do dis u just needa know ur car u can tell u don’t know ur car while sliding

just knowing your car doesnt mean anything. if you dont know what to do you dont know what to do
