The fact that she left her daughter doesn't surprise me because I have seen that happen twice and the parents are back within five minutes at the most, but to take almost four HOURS before you realize that you left your kid in the store is unforgivable.
That woman does not deserve to have her child, Kay should have been helped into a new family that actually cares about her and won’t just leave her stranded in a huff for bs “reasons”
What even worst is that it clear that she been mentally abuse by her mother as well.
Edit: The reason why I say that is because she ask every time they come in if he mad at her when it her mother fault.😊
Yeah, it's obvious she's mentally abusing the kid, Kay needs to be taken in by her father, relative or hell, even her grandparents will be a step up compared to her mother.
Yeah sorry, I get being absent minded and forgetting your kid, within reason, But if it takes longer than an hour to return to get your child, there should be police waiting for you.
In this situation though, i get the feeling the entitled mother realised well before she left her kid behind, and simply took the chance for some free (for her) babysitting while she relaxed.
I agree. It CAN be understandable (understandable, not excusable) to forget your child if you're tired and or have poor mental health, but as you said, I'd exoect normal parents in such case to realise it within 5 minutes at most.
The camel story: OP you ARE the AH. She lives there. It is her home too. She has as much right to be there as the op.
For 3rd story: Gets denied raise because of her temper. Responds by angrily lashing out at her boyfriend and breaking up with him....

My dad used to work for a mechanic shop in a farm town, and once a year, the chicken farms would bring their trucks for maintenance, and the stench was god awful. The stench of death and decay was so strong... my step mom would meet my dad outside with a hose and hose him down, and then he would go to the bathroom and shower for an hour.
Story #1...Why didn't anyone in the store think to call the police. Child abandonment is a serious crime
Corporate probably didn't want people to see cops being called to the store, so they probably "discourage" employees to call the police. It's disappointing, but not surprising

Story 2: Considering how irrational the girlfriend is, I see why she didn't get that raise.
Story 3: The OP is the jerk. He's saying his roommate can't come in until she gets rid of the smell? HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT WHEN THE OP IS STOPPING HER FROM THE BATHROOM TO CLEAN HERSELF?! I really hope the OP suffers some kind of consequences for not just being an unreasonable jerk, but also a complete idiot.
Story 4: I'm no expert, but isn't this situation a typical domestic abuse situation? The only thing that seems to be missing is the boyfriend physically beating the OP.
About the story of the chick that got spit on by a camel. My reaction to that would be more along the lines of “oh god no, oh that’s awful. Just wait out here for a second while I go to my bathroom and throw up. When you hear the sound of flushing, you’re good to come in, I’ll be in my room trying to forget this happened”
Second story would definitely recommend a medical checkup before doing anything drastic, because that excuse sounds like a sleep disorder. If he refuses to get checked, THEN yeah he's probably just a lazy jerk.

the second story with the guy always sleeping, it sounds like his sleep schedule is completely out of wack
The second story sounds like a guy who’s working his ass off at a tough job and needs sleep, versus a needy girlfriend
Then he should tell her that he needs sleep.
Instead he says "Yeah let's meet up" and then no-shows or cancels at the last moment, wasting her time and frustrating her.
It more seems like he just doesn't care about inconveniencing her.
@@mostlyharmfulll2103 I have a suspicion that it’s more like he’s told her multiple times that he need to sleep, she doesn’t take that as a good enough reason, and won’t stop bothering him until he agrees to meet up, which again he is unable to do because he needs to rest.

@@mostlyharmfulll2103he could also be fine when asked but just pass out. It isnt impossible to assume oneself is fine when really they aren’t. He could be assuming he is fine or he could feel fine but in reality he may just be passing out from the job
So with the camel spit story I had to pause this video and run over to Reddit to read the comments. And because so many rules were violated on that one they locked the post and I really wanted to comment that person could easily get sued for this she could also go to jail because it's illegal to do that. That was disgusting it as you're reading it out loud I'm yelling at my phone like wtf is wrong with you you know. You can't just lock your tenant (since OP is the main tenant and this roommate/tenant is subleasing from her) out because you don't like the way she smells. You can't do that. If she would have called the cops instead of gone and soaked her body and whatever she did which by the way that was dehumanizing as crap. But she can't that was not okay. I'm literally fuming for this poor girl right now. She got spat on by a camel, then had to walk the mile from the fair home smelling like that and that she's on her way home she's probably like I can't wait to get in the shower and just get this disgusting smell off of me, then she gets to her house and her "landlady" locks her out and holds the door closed and tells her to go jump into water or spray herself down with a hose like wtf?

Last story .....if theyre not married and he is not on the lease, she can kick him out even if "he wont leave". Also, it is better to spilt up than to teach your child that being abused is okay. Screaming and throwing things is mental and emotional abuse and can be just as if not more damaging than physical abuse.

For the second story, honestly... It could be mental health issues as well as physical exhaustion from work. I have issues where I end up constantly falling asleep throughout the day at random times no matter how much I sleep(though I do have my own issues with falling asleep at night anyway). Especially with a difficult physically taxing job, that tends to also be taxing towards your mental health.
Story 4: I would have put on my face mask 😷and said, "To the bathroom, please!" 🚿🧼🛁🛀

I've listened to the first story more than once and every time I get tears in my eyes. I grew up around people with cerebral palsy and others who are on the spectrum so I know the devastation that Kay would have had in her voice fearing that her friend was angry with her. Some people deserve better parents.
As someone who works 11 hour shifts starting from 3am to 2pm I feel like the story about the boyfriend is a tad harsh since given that time slot my sleep schedule is chaotic . There is so many factors ignored by op and the narrator and that’s before considering something medical. She’s right in the way that if this is a deal breaker then break up. Otherwise approach the bf in a manner that is accommodating while still being respectful to yourself. If my gf came to me in a questionable manner after working that long I may be a tad short too. Perhaps this is abnormal but if I had plans with someone before I leave I always confirm the plans or I stay my happy butt home assuming the plans fell through.

Story 1- I'd have called CPS (child protection services), after half an hour. Yes, I have been so harrassed, so tired, that when my son was a newborn that I forgot that I'd had him, and walked out the shop, leaving him in his pushchair. I got four paces before my brain kicked back in and if the distance had been 100metres I would have beat Usain Bolts time, getting back to him.
Story 3- how will you feel when your boyfriend uses similar language to your baby when they are older? Don't bother with the guilt, he doesn't want the baby.

The 3rd story shows the boss was right, she has a short fuse and is immature. The boyfriend showed empathy and a healthy outlook, making time to call her as soon as he could, she choose to vent her anger at the first target she could find.
story 4: i see both sides here, the fact that he couldnt stand that smell and it would go inside would be HORRENDOUS and jumping in a creek isnt that bad anyway, free swim.
Camel spit is actually camel vomit but people with camel attractions dont tell you that on purpose, so that everyone won't be too disgusted to want to see camels again.
Camels "spit" a LOT. They often do that when annoyed/upset. I avoid them for this reason. They really can be gross.

I disagree with your take on the second story as someone who worked in a factory and a very demanding job I understand where her boyfriend is coming from. It's f****** hard and it's harder on us when our b**** of a girlfriend won't understand. He needs to break up with her for his own mental health.
For story number 5, I am probably one of the only people able to make fully accurate comments on it. ( divorced, re-married parents. Oh yeah that happened at 3 yrs old ) Yes, that boyfriend isn’t someone that is the kindest. But in the heat of argument, people become mindless and stray off the original goal. For example, you could be trying to say a fun fact, but get in an argument and start talking about the general area of the fun fact and argue about that. Let’s say you were like “ A hypothesis has to have ‘ if, then ‘ statements “ and you get in an argument about it, you will probably end up talking about how to measure data. Story 2: I get that it's frustrating and it sucks that it keeps happening. But calling him lazy and saying that he should make the time and is showing his true colors. Is unwarranted and a bit harsh. Maybe he's tired you getting up in his ass about him trying to make shit work after working how he does. He makes you feel bad because he's tired of hearing about you complaining. So break up with him. It's not gonna stop the fact that maybe you're just not ready to be with someone who's working a demanding job and the toll it can take on someone. Sure other people can deal with it better than others. But you said it yourself that his job is demanding and he struggles with sleep. Maybe try to sympathize with him just a little. Instead of trying to plan out all this stuff. Just drive to him and spend time at home. Maybe you'll be less disappointed and see that he's trying to make things work. But is having a tough time juggling everything. You could also say he should step up as man. But thats whole other can of worms.

With the girl having a problem with her boyfriend sleeping all the time the one problem I have with this channel and I know it’s not their fault if we don’t get both sides of the story, there’s a couple things that could clear this up easily like number one what kind of job does this guy have number two? What are his hours and number three these days was he working the day before and the other two questions fall into it like if it’s a scam and he’s working from let’s just say like 10 o’clock at night tonine in the morning then yes it’s understandable. I don’t think it’s being lazy.

2nd story, calling the boyfriend lazy is going way too far. But I'm not surprised this narrator came to that conclusion considering their track record (very biased against any and all boyfriends). Just admit you don't have enough information to come to a good conclusion. This story is missing so much information.
