Tangents to a Circle ( GMAT / GRE / CAT / Bank PO / SSC CGL)" Tangent to a circle is just a point, touching point. Then, why is the opposite over adjacent is tangent value? Thanks.
Woah !!! Thank god I found this video and the channel ofcourse......i guess every 10thie should prefer physicswallah for physics and chemistry and for maths this channel would be perfect 💗
Because tangent can only touch circle at one point. So if we draw any other straight line that passes through the centre of the circle it will touch it at two points that means it is forming a secant. Secant is a line that touches circle at two points. I hope you get my point.😊
@@rubbiyayasin1915 I didn't get it...... What if we draw any other straight line that doesn't pass through the centre of the circle, only the circumference? Can it be one of a kind of tangent?
OK. You are fast and fluide. In case we got the area of the kite, is that would help? What is the relationship between inner triangle inside the circle and other one out side the circle. The area of the kite equals to sum of these two triangles and also multiplication of of two diameters(d1*d2). Other concern is 2*phi*radius universally stands for circumference of a circle, and using it for an arc I feel some hesitation, please.
You're most welcome Arif. We are glad that you understood the concept. We are happy that we could help you learn. For more videos, please visit our website - dontmemorise.com/
Ma'am hello I am Zohaib Akbar from Pakistan one question Why tangent touch only one point why not two or more then two points why it touches only one point and why secant cuts two points .give me reason someone ask me in interview
Because it is the name given to them. Earlier mathematicians spotted that when a line outside the circle at exactly one point, certain pattern are being repeated like - if we draw radius to the point of contact, we'll get a right angle. This is how maths evolved around tangent. Why your left hand is called left and why not right, straight or anything else? It is just because it's the name given to it.
I'm not agree with your concept that a tangent touches a circle only at one point... Sorry sir it's not true... Because, mathematically everything is made up of points so if we take an example of circle actually circle is made up of non-collinear points so, the points on a circle are very tightly closed then how is it possible that the tangent touch the circle only at one point... May b theoretically it is suitable that tangent touches circle only at one point but Pratically it's not true because a tangent touches circle at many points...
Its just that circles without thickness dont actually exist. For a figure which consists of all the points which are the same distance from the center joined without a thickness, this is true
The ans of your ques mention by you in your ques You said that circle is made up of non collinear points so if two points of circle touches the line of tangent so the given shape is not a circle
If the tangents are drawn at the end of the diameter, they are parallel to each other

Thanks.
Requesting u to start making video on advanced maths for aspirants who are preparing for SSC CGL exams and etc., because u people teach very well

Please try to make more videos from tangent 🙏
Thank you so much 😇😇👌👌👍👍👍
thanks for your create work mam...🙏
Why we can just draw two tangents from an external point?
Bwchot
Because tangent can only touch circle at one point. So if we draw any other straight line that passes through the centre of the circle it will touch it at two points that means it is forming a secant. Secant is a line that touches circle at two points.
I hope you get my point.😊

Well explained
I'm here after qualifying ssc cpo prelims exam...! It's really helpful ❣️
thank you~~ great explanation 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You're welcome! Happy Learning :)
That explanation was so easy. I guess I was just stupid back then (c/o 1994!)

Touches at a point.
Opening. Entry point. Aperture. Pattern.
The plan of parallel movement has an order. It is an important movement. As appears.
Thank you so much
Your videos save my life. Thank you so much.
I like your all videos thank you 😊☺️ ur very intelligent
i have memorised this channels name....
thank you
What if you don’t have the circumference
love from india..short and informative
Best channel. 10QU.

Hi mam i have an question "120 kaise aaya"?
AP BP angle is like a inscribed one on the same arc Central angle is 120
Good job
Thank you for explaining so nicely ☺

well explained
In 4.38 min I think central angle is 2 theta of angle subtend by P
helpful & nice👍👍
Your teaching style is good...
Thanks a lot, Ravi!
We are glad you like our teaching style.
Keep watching! 🙂😊
Thanku mam
120 DEGREES ARE MUCH MUCH IMPRESSIVE. THIS MULTIPLIED BY 3 WOULD GIVE YOU 360 DEGREES. AND DIVIDING 12 BY 3 WILL BE THE ANSWER.
Stupendous!
great sir,i am blessed
Ooohhh really thanks
Anyone happy for finally reaching the end of ch ... Motion
Amazing 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thnx its helpfull
TQ 😁😊
Superb
Thank you for your comment.

Shut up
Hello 7-Galilei :))
Why have you used theta
Length of arc is
theta/180 degree x pie r
Also, length of arc is
theta/360 degree x circumference
For the folks don’t know
Beautiful I'm just in 8 i understood everything concept actually except theta.
Legend will watch don't memories 😃😃
isn't a secant also a chord?
Bro secant is line and chord is line segment
Please translate this chapter in Hindi also thanks
tangent points ..
Be tangents. But that is meanness. Know what is a tangent.
I'm not agree with your last.. concept....😖...😢...
Than have a good time with me😘

Exactly I know
The fact that your channel is called "Don't memorize" and doesn't prove the statements is kind of contradictory .
