    If a triangle is inscribed inside of a circle, and the base of the triangle is also a diameter of the circle, then the triangle is a right triangle.

      As Sonali Das said, you can find the angle, and then simply use Cos function to find the length.

    Title should be fixed as Equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle, because there's not much going on for other types of triangles.

      in triangle BOD
      cos30=BD/OB
      root3/2=BD/r
      BD=r*root3/2
