It’s true that the transcontinental air-travel is expensive, but, if you work while visiting Asia, the cost of being & eating & living is manageable (more manageable than the USA, for sure). I recommend going. (But, I love Brazil. If somebody gave me two equal-compensation job offers and the only difference was geography: S.E. Ásia or Brasil, I’d probably choose Brazil.)

As am American I find it amazing that these girls are so comfortable dressed so skimpy and provocatively while on the street. In the US you'll see bikinis around the water and beach, and provocative tart wear in clubs sometimes, but never on the street. Feminists would throw a major fit.

Back then a short time was 5 baht. And a baht was five cents. Most girls were on pills of kind so they could put up with it. The type of pills was their nickname like yellow jacket or blue Jay. It was and probably still an area with no morality. I considered them indentured servants or slaves to their morality. It's a tough life for them. Great actresses.
