The Soi 4 beer bars are a great place to have a few drinks. It's always a hive of activity and a people watching paradise even if you are not participating. Get yourself a seat at the front of any bar (if one is free), order a cold one and enjoy the parade...

What you can’t tell from these videos is how hot it can get in Bangkok during the day. The sidewalks and buildings can radiate heat well into the evening hours. Getting out at night is natural given the daytime temperatures. Even the locals will try to avoid moving around during the day.
OK, that makes sense. People walking around with groceries at 2:30am seemed odd to me.

@@kentuckycykentuckycy8756 I try. It’s like rural Kentucky. Folks get up early and work outdoors until 10:00 or 11:00 AM. You don’t see them again during the heat of the day. Then, when the worst of the heat has passed, out they come to finish their days work. Not everyone can do that, but given their druthers, the usually will. Local folks see me working or mowing in the summer heat and think I’m crazy. Actually, I’m just from out of town and claim not to know better.
And yes, Bangkok is worse than Kentucky by quite a bit. In Kentucky you just go in the house. In Bangkok, in the summer heat, you might not make it to the house. Stopping for an ice cold drink or two while out and about is a real good idea, as is wearing a broad brimmed hat and sun glasses. Better yet, join the locals after dark.

Literally someone can kidnap the children that are by themselves they deserve to live a full life same as a grown adult. I have some friends that love the adult life style and rather do that than work and they take drugs while they have children with grandma taking care of them. I tryed to help some people but they won't take it, they will listen but won't actually change. Only so much you can do and those that don't have a choice need help on guidance getting out of that life style if the choose to.

Definitely Singha for the win! Hooters may be on point for their spirits, but I've had terrible luck at both the Bangkok and Pattaya ones with customer service and food quality/ availability and will never spend another Baht there. On the other hand, I have had some great times at the other beer bars outside Nana, but I stick to beer and know when to say when. Funny story about getting noodles and chili flakes. When the server, an older Thai lady who was super nice, brought out my bowl of noodles, she took the chili flakes and the chili oil off the table. I kind of looked at her funny and she pointed to them and in a commanding voice said, "No!" I laughed, nodded my head, and had an amazing bowl of noodles. Thanks for sharing this with us and keeping the dream alive, I'm already planning my next trip back! Hope all is well with you and yours. Cheers!

From the moment I arrived in Pattaya, I was struck by the vibrant culture and friendly locals. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with warm smiles and a sense of hospitality that is hard to find in other parts of the world. But what really caught my attention was the abundance of Chang beer on offer.
At first, I was a little hesitant to try Chang. I wasn't sure if I would like the taste, as I had never had a rice-based beer before. But as soon as I took my first sip, I knew I was in love. The smooth, refreshing flavor was unlike anything I had ever tasted before, and I found myself ordering round after round of Chang whenever I went out.
As I explored more of Pattaya and sampled the local cuisine, I discovered that Chang beer is the perfect companion to many of the delicious dishes that are popular in the region. Whether I was munching on spicy Thai curry or savoring a plate of fresh seafood, a cold Chang always seemed to make the experience that much more enjoyable.
But it's not just the taste of Chang that I love. There is also something special about the way it is enjoyed in Pattaya. Whether I was relaxing on the beach or partying the night away at one of the city's many bars and clubs, the atmosphere was always lively and festive. And of course, Chang beer played a big part in that.
In short, Chang beer and Pattaya are two of my favorite things in the world. Every time I return to this amazing city, I am reminded of why I fell in love with both of them in the first place. And as long as Chang is on tap and Pattaya is on the map, I know I will always have a place in my heart for both of them.
