Long ago learned that when going to bars and nightclubs in Thailand get a quality pair of earplugs. Some of the quality earplugs are rated to reduce the ambient noise level by up to 20dB. That can make a big difference to your hearing in the long run.

I hope that article 13 and its application on RUclips will not kill your channel. About this video it's very nice, as usual, but it's a pity that the level of dB is too high in these discos.

Should I do Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya. I'm just after the sites some beers and the girls ? Any stories or favourite spots would help.

Freelancers work for themselves. You can find them on the road and in clubs.
Usually the road ones are scummier and cheaper.

I pass on places that loud. I play in a band and we rarely go much over 90 db measured a meter from a PA speaker. Hard to tell because your mic may be overdriving, but it would appear that techno music uses subwoofers that are tubby as hell.
It's definitely that loud.
If you check official pics of Insanity in BKK, for example, they have a db meter there and it usually ranges from 105 to 115.

Great vid as always. Those audio apps are unfortunately not very accurate. The phone mic can't really pic up the full frequency spectrum. 120db would be genuinely painful.
I assure you that they do get that loud.
