- Getting started in Subsistence can be overwhelming. The world may not be that big but it can be tricky and is one heck of a grind. This is one of my favorite sandbox PvE games to date so I thought I'd put together a guide with some tips and tricks that I've learned along the way (often the hard way!).
In Part 3 its BCU time!! We get the Base Command Unit set up and do some grinding and base building!

just got into this game with some friends. Got a dedicated server up & learning all the ropes these vids help! tysm :).. It's so hard to find cotton before winter comes, i rarely find seeds and even more rarely find the plant

Cotton is so hard to find! I'm currently working on cotton now and am getting like 1 seed every couple days. Hopefully they fix that someday. I'm glad you're enjoying the game and the videos!

PLACE THE BCU ON THE SECOND FLOOR FOR MAXIMUM COVERAGE. IT'S A DOME NOT A SQUARE. TO REACH ALL OF THE 5X5 IT NEEDS TO BE ON THE SECOND FLOOR IN THE EXACT MIDDLE. YOU CAN DO THIS BY PLACING HALF WALLS AND FLOORS. PLACE ONE-HALF WALL ON EITHER SIDE OF THE MIDDLE SQUARE THEN PLACE A HALF FLOOR ON IT. REMOVE THE HALF WALL AND PLACE IT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HALF FLOOR. NOW YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE IT IN THE EXACT CENTER AND REACH THE CORNERS OF THE BUILDING. PLACE THE BCU ON THE SIDE WITHOUT THE HALF FLOOR JUST ABOVE EYE LEVEL AND IT SHOULD REACH THE 4 CORNERS OF THE BUILDING NOW.

I had to watch the video because I didn't know what you were talking about. It's super weird because I don't spam the mouse. That must be some weird digital click the recording is picking up. I have no idea how to explain it. I did get a new mouse though so maybe it's gone. I'll have to check some other videos now.
