What do you think of this as an upgrade for the Aria? In need of a new set, squiglink EQs don't really sound all that good on headphones that can't really perform the same way lol. It's hard to really tell how it would actually sound. The aria on default with no EQ just sounded better than the 5+2 EQ. It just sounded like a bad V shape tune. I'm trying to find a set for a wide range of use. I mix a lot of music (no monitors, though), and play around with a lot of virtual instruments, ASMR, frequency type binuaral stuff, and, I also listen to pretty much every genre, been trying not to listen to hip-hop that much due to influence it has on me lol I do, though, still want it to sound good in the low end, just not at the expense of all the clarity of other things going on in the track. Before IEM's, I always just bought these Phillips "clear sound" earbuds, they got discontinued, though, so I had to move on. However, I do enjoy the aria's (the black ones), I just want something for an upgrade in quality. My arias have a loose 2 pin connection on the right ear, even with new cables the sound cuts out. Thanks for any tips! I appreciate it!
This one and the orgin sounds intresting , but very pleased with the Bajie . That version of Enter Sandman is added to my new Halloween playlist, that I'm working on..
@tonedeafmonk Thanks for the amazing review. It's very nice to see someone who talks about each product with passion and in many details, doing a great job. I would like to ask you something. I really liked Binary Dynaquattro. Its timbre, tuning, lack of BA or PZT timbre, which bothered me in other IEMs. I had Sm4, Estrella, KE4. Binars are perfect, the DD sound is an example for me, unfortunately a bit too big.... can Aful 5+2 be a competitor to them? Will they come close to this beautiful smoothness of the midrange, clarity of trebble and nice bass attack? Can you recommend any other IEMs with the same sound and smaller structure? Please give me a hint.
I was waiting for your reviews. Probably I'll it the button for something on the go. Also +1 on the logo. It's a shame that AFUL use this as an Ads board. It won't get them more clients, on the contrary. If it was to it's top presentation, without logo, then I could present it to people around me. I am a bit confused: in your review for Butterfly 61T you rank 61T higher than SLT6, and in the current one you rank 5+2 higher than 61T. So we have 61T > SLT6 and 5+2 > 61T, which should mean that 5+2 > SLT6. But here you rank SLT6 higher than 5+2. Did you change your opinion since the previous review? If yes - what is the reason for that?
