Thank you for the review. I have the AFUL EXPLORER and definitely looking for an upgrade in the high ends for more sparkle and clarity. Explorer requires, unfortunately, to be listened at high volume for better staging. The reason i think P5+2 is a natural upgrade.
Currently running Aful p5 and quintet. Have been following this set closely as the p5 is almost to my preference. I bit more soundstage and treble extension is exactly what I’m looking for! Great review as always
Congrats for your reviews, they're very informative and professional. I have the Aful Explorer and isn't bad at all, nice sound, the soundstage is a little bit narrow, and more treble would be welcome, the cable and the case are very nice. Really fair price for what you get
I've been enjoying the warm sound of the Aful Explorer, but I'm really excited about the Performer 5+2. I think it would add some much needed sparkle and detail, especially for brighter genres. Plus, the design is stunning! Thanks for the review.
I'm excited to try P5+2, from your review it really match with my tonal taste. The bass and treble is what I'm looking for my genres. Hopefully i can try it ASAP. Thank you for the great reviews always!
From the description of the 5+2, i feel the magic one comes closer than the explorer. Love the Magic One for it's energetic presentation, extends well on both sides. Good review, Mark.
Wonderful review as always. I am currently running the Aful Explorer. I love it for its relaxing laid-back presentation with of course an emphasis on the sub-bass. It's perfect for my use case where after a hard day at work just want to hear music and relax. Performer 5+2 with higher treble emphasis really excites me to try it...
I have the explorer at home and love the set. Gizaudio said that the Perfomer 5+2 is close to that but enhances the treble a bit which is something I'd love. I am mostly listening to metal, classical and progressive music. The Explorer is great especially for rock and metal and I hope the Performer is better still.
Thank you for the great review. The P5+2 would be my first proper iem, since I've discovered this hobby for myself just two months ago. Other reviews said it's an all rounder which is what I'm searching for and I've played around with eq before and this could be close to something i'd like? (Not that I would have any reference yet). Not to mention that they look really nice. Good luck to everyone winning this great iem.
Currently listening on Moondrop Chus, the Aful P5+2 seems like an upgrade in every aspect! The boost in the low ends definitely amp up the listening experience on the Silentroom albums I’m playing rn
Thanks for the great review! I'm a big fan of K-Pop and I'm currently using the KZ PR2. I love how detailed it is, especially with instruments. I've been eyeing Aful IEMs for a while now, and the Performer 5+2 looks amazing. Its design is stunning, and I'm excited to hear how it handles complex musical arrangements.
Seeing more and more planars enter a reasonable budget is nice! I have been daily driving the Elysian Pilgrims for a while since release. Their price has driven me out of the buying window this year for more IEMs, so I have just been watching from afar to see the hobby continue to evolve while I enjoy what I have. I actually really like the color of the 5+2, since green is my favorite color.
I am currently switching between the Supermix 4 and Juzear butterfly 61T. Ever since I've heard about the Aful Explorer, as I was looking for something with a littler warmth at the time to compliment my rotation, it piqued my interest in the Aful lineup. Hearing that the Performer 5+2 has a bit more sparkle and treble definitely makes it interesting to me as I would like to try it on some brighter genres of music on my playlist. Thanks for another detailed review!
Currently using Ziigaat Arete, as my all rounder iem. I really like the orchestra kind of music, hopefully I can compare the Aful Performer 5+2 with my current iem, because from the graph it's very look alike and I hope the 5+2 gives more exciting in tonal and better technical abilities. Thanks for the review!
Great review! Im currently listen my music with Oriveti OD200, I think Aful 5+2 is the best choice for an energetic and analytical sound when I need it
Aful Performer 5 is my wishlist from a year ago, but I still never had a chance to try it. I'm still using my old Blon BL-03, hopefully Performer 5+2 is the better way than the older Performer 5 OG to upgrade from it. Thank you for the review Mark, and thank you for the giveaway Hifigo.
Aful P5 + Spinfit W1 + Moondrop Dawn is my current favorite combo by far! I love the natural tone and I was blown away by that the second I got the P5, and replacing the original silicone eartips with Spinfit W1's made a MASSIVE difference! My favorite thing about the original P5 is the comfort! I love the relatively small nozzle with NO "lip", which is super comfortable for hours! Something I'm hoping the P5+2/P7 will improve on (vs the P5) would be the technical performance especially regarding the soundstage and imaging! I feel like I can always EQ something to my liking (didn't need to EQ the P5 at all) but I'm really praying for technical performance more! Thanks for the review!
I think the Aful Performer 5+2 is a solid choice an engaging sound signature with good bass response and clarity. Currenly I'm using the Aful Explorer, I think it worth the upgrade. Nice review, as always.
I'm listening to this on my Fiio K9 AKM + Fiio FH7s. I'm always on the lookout for something with a wider soundstage & better detail retrieval. I'm definitely neck-deep in the rabbit hole!
I’m currently once again in a Death Cab for Cutie episode, can’t get enough even after all these years. I recently used a pair of MP145, but they recently broke. I used to own Aful P8, and while I loved them and how detailed and technical they were, they were a bit too clinical to be used as an all rounder, imo. 5+2 seem to tick a lot of boxes and I’m sure I’d love them!
Thanks for the super review Mark, you are my go to reviewer before I made purchase decision, currently driving Truthear Zero : RED instant buy after watching your review, paired with the newest HIBY R4. Monster setup, if I'm listening in home I'll just plug it in with my Questyle M15. Really lookin forward to upgrade my IEM, this looks like a really amazing step up from ZERO:RED. Do you think this will be a major upgrade with my current setup?
It's a steal for the price only USD$239 from HIFIGO with discount Coupon, I've ordered one yesterday, I will prove all the reviewers review accuracy on this set AFUL IEMs. both Explorer and Performers 8 have impressed me a lot , not the fan of Pilgrim, SLT6 , Zenns TOP and S12 pro, Olina SE HBB , I'VE got rid of them all , only AFUL are the best of the best , best sound, value, clarity, texture,Tone, and Tuning , way more affordable than the Thieaudio for the price and quality. I will come back for my experience with the P 5+2 Thank You.
The KZ EDX Ultra is a good IEM for my everyday use, but the Performer 5+2 seems like a significant upgrade in every way. I like many genres and looking out for all rounder IEM. I've been saving up for the Explorer, but winning the Performer 5+2 would be amazing! Either way, I'm a big fan of your work and plan to buy a pair soon.
I really wanted to see you review the Xenns Mangird Tea Pro and compare to Aful Performer 5+2. They both have the same relaxing tonality. Frpm my experience, I always adore Xenns offering. They never disappoint me. I prefer the Tea 2 over the P5, and the Xenns Top over the Variation. Listening to Prog Rock/Metal is always a bliss with those two IEMs.
Hey Mark (and Community) Thank‘s for another great Review. Today i struggeled again, EQ-ing my T3+ and Blon 03 to bring some light in the dark sound. I recogniced it’s Time for a little bit more Details, Mids an Highs. An Upgrade like the 5+2 would be insane, but out of Budget. I Hope you all doing well, have a nice Weekend everybody
I've been listening to all my fun music and enjoying hearing all the details I missed out on from my car speakers and home stereo. IEMs really come along in major steps from going to the store and getting a Sennheiser with sport or active in the name. The P5 and P8 both were some good sends to enjoying music.
I have Performer 5 that I bought last year. I hope the Performer 5+2 is major upgrade from Performer 5, I really like the tonality. Only bit of nitpick in the mids feel odds, hope 5+2 fix it and have better technicality. hopefully it meet my expectations, thank you for the awesome review always.
Recently just sold my tangzu heydays as I just wasn’t gelling with it. The reviews said one thing but my ears felt another. This sounds like one I’d like, punchy bass, cleans mids, more engaging. I’d love to have these and enjoy em properly as I have been longing for a replacement but can’t choose. So if destiny is to be with these I’ll enjoy them to the fullest! Shoutout to hifigo! ❤
Nice review! My current daily driver is the Truthear Hexa, the P5+2 would be an awesome upgrade for more warmer sound signature and better detail retrieval
Well, I'm listening a lot of Trance lately. I love trance songs that mix classical instruments with it. And about the P5+2, looks like it sounds amazing, and I just love how it looks! It's awesome when Chinese companies embrace the Chinese culture and use it on their products design like Aful did with this IEM.
I do a lot of gaming and right now my obsession is Escape from Tarkov. Audio cues are very important in game and despite owning both Blessing 3 and Dusk, audio separation has ended my raid on more than one occasion. I'm hoping Performer 5+2 can tighten up imaging to keep me in the fight! Also good morning Mark, I always look forward to Wednesdays to tune into your Pink Noise. You, Listener, Crin, and Timmy are my main channels to stay informed with audio. Thank you guys for all your work!
I have over 20 IEMS specifically bought to see how they perform in Tarkov and the best one I have is the Aful performer 8 great imaging and sound stage and separation. I also like the Meyer audio CKLVX D41 huge sound stage sometimes feels to big, good imaging and separation for Tarkov.
you should check out ZiiGaat Arete if you want a more gaming focuses iem, it has good audio separation, sound stage, and imaging, though I heard its not that good in terms of resolution
Great video as usual. Right now I'm listening on simgot ew300s, I really hope I can find a pair that fits me more securely. My favorite part of your reviews is the physical/fit section
Currently switching between the Elysian Pilgrim (silver, not the noir) and the KiwiEars KE4, listening only to classical and jazz music. Since I loved basically any AFUL productions I tried (especially the P5 and P8), I really hope the P5+2 can improve a bit the P5 sound adding a slight more punch in the bass and get more airy details on the top. Thanks for your video and review!
The AFUL P8 is a regular in my rotation. I find it too large for sleeping, but a very enjoyable sound signature. Along with the P8, I have also have the Meze Rai Solo, Moondrop Kato, and the FIIO FH5s in my current rotation. I have found that I enjoy the IEM's with metal shells, just a personal preference. The P5+2 sounds like something that would definitely work into my rotation...Thank you Mark for another great review!!!
Sell them all.and buy Mega5 EST..or Oracle MK1 I've made the same mistake.. quantity always loses against quality.Right timbre especially in the mids is everything for me right now everything else maybe is exciting for a while but after sometime it ends in the closet..
I'm listening to Satie & Compagnie on Letshuoer S12 and Tripowin Olina HBB SE IEMs with a Hiby R4 as my source. I want a new pair of IEMs that come with a 4.4mm plug, that are similar, but noticeably better, than the S12 and in the $250-300 range. I listen to 90% classical music. It seems the Performer 5+2 may be the ticket for me. Your review content and style is excellent Mark 👏
Great review as always. I like the clear, clean, cheerful sound, I get it from the Fiio fh3, I love the sound of the Fiio fh3. It would be interesting to listen to performer 7 and compare how much technology has advanced in iem during this time, although it all depends on personal preferences, I think I would like aful performer 7. thanks for the review.
Currently using the Aful Explorer and am digging the warmer sound but would love the to get my hands on the 5+2. It would add a little more brightness and sparkle, plus, I LOVE the look of the 5+2! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for your review! I’m currently using S12 and even though it’s not fair comparison, this set will provide limprovement on highs, especially around ear canal resonance frequency.
Great review! I'm listening to the Artti T10 right now and just recently I discovered that I'm very sensitive in the upper mids area, so sets with subdued presentation in this range like the AFUL P5+2 always get my attention.
Great review, one of the first channels I look for, in terms of IEM and DAP reviews. Have only recently come back into this rabbit hole. This scene has come so far from when I was rocking the Vsonic GR07 10 years back. Moved between Sennheisers and some Soundmagic IEMs but never ventured into Shure or Etymotic. Currently listening to Truthear Hexa which have blown my mind for how good they are for the price! For something similar to a Soundmagic price back in the day (maybe a bit more) to have that kind of sound has truly made me wonder how fast things have moved on. Using the Hexa with a FIIO KA13 Amp/Dac off of an Android phone. Been looking at Aful and want to look for the next step up from the Hexa. Some have suggested the Performer 8 but the Performer 5 was also mentioned, some thinking it was better for them than the 8s. I love the Hexas but what I want to keep is the detail and clarity, but ease up on the sharpness of the treble and have a little more punchy bass. Sounds like the 5+2 could be good in this regard.
I got the Aful Explorer as my daily driver around a month ago, it’s mostly good! Just wished it had a bit more detail, just a tinge more female vocals and highs, but it’s a pleasing set overall!
Great review! I listen to a lot of rock songs especially Jrock and currently listening to Letshuoer S12 Pro. I love how it resolves the instruments and I'm very into instrument details. Always wanted to own an Aful as it has been getting a lot of good reviews. I think the performer 5+2 will definitely be the 1st Aful IEM that I'll be getting myself. It helps that they have one of the best designs for IEM's!
I've been listening to Vulfpeck lately, and I've also been revisiting and fall back in love with Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. My go to (and my best) earpieces for now is the Dunu Alpha3 and the Truthear Hexa. I've found from your review on the Hexa that my tuning preferences is quite similiar to you, so what I expect from P5+2 's improvement to it is that this will be a more fun but still clean earphone to listen to.
I'm listening to Seu Jorge (Quem nao quer sou eu) and Maro (we've been loving in silence), and I hope they improve my mpb listening sessions as I also hope to win this set lol, shout out from Brasil ❤
I currently use the KZ EDX Pro, and this would be an improvemnt in literally every parameter! 😅 Would REALLY appreciate it if I got this, but I've been saving towards buying the Explorer for a while anyway, so even if I didn't my hearts still set on getting a set from you guys. Keep up the good work Aful!
I listen to a lot of genres and I alternate between them depending on my mood. I love jazz, hip-hop, electronic music, heavy metal, etc. The most expensive hybrid IEM I own is Ziigaat Cinno and while I love it a lot it's a musical set that doesn't focus on resolution a lot and I miss that in some busier tracks. That's what I'd love to see from this Aful set.
Hi Mark. Thank you for your reviews and now the giveaway. I bought my first IEM about a year ago based of your review, the Truthear Hexa. I needed to wait for a good deal on Amazon because I couldn't afford more than 60 bucks. Anyways, I love it to death. It's been my daily driver every since. The only thing I would love to improve is the fact, that although Hexa sounds perfect to me in quiet environments, it loses much of its bass response during commutes (train, subway etc.). I cannot listen to music very loudly because I find it hurts my ears, so when there is noise around, Hexa often gets compromised in sound. A little bass boost would help a lot in these situations. If there is other improvements like soundstage and detail, this would be great too. And of course, having a IEM I otherwise couldn't afford myself would also be nice, not gonna lie. Thanks again and have a great day.
Great review! I'm currently listening to my music with my juzear 41t and I think the Aful 5+2 would be a great compliment to that when I need more engagement.
I'm currently listening to Beyond The Stars - By Sami Yusuf. What I'm look for in an IEM is good definition so that I can hear the instruments clearly. Good bass to enjoy the percussion instruments and good sound stage. I hope the Aful Performer 5+2 has these features. Thanks for your review.
Nice review ! Though i dont have any aful iems but always they will be on my wishlist ! Currently im using my qkz x hbb and kinera sif. Hope i will be able to try one of those ! Thank you for your review and aful for the giveaway
This is dope! I have the performer 5 and arete. P5 warm and balanced sound is awesome when reviewing audio or tracking. For some reason things sound consistent everywhere when I’m reviewing/mixing through them.
Amazing review! I've been rocking the Hexa for over a year now and it's just amazing. It fits perfectly with all my playlists (which are mainly French psy-pop/rock or alternative and indie stuff), and the comfort is perfect. I've been looking into the Performer 5 for a long time, but its midrange has been keeping me from getting it. The P5+2 looks really nice and warmer, so maybe it is what I'm looking for!
@hartyewh1 So my fears are justified, ha. What would you recommend, kind sir? Needless to say, I want something very mid-focused while being neutral and warm-ish
As of right now, I am using the performer 5 to listen to mainly classical music and more often than not, piano when i practice. I already love them for the sense of body they bring to the instrument. I already have the 5+2 in my cart haha , but I am hoping for the added detail that the 5+2 can deliver.
I listen to Progressive and Organic House mostly, im about to pull the trigger on the Explorer, looks a good match for this genre and everyone tells is good for loud listings!! This P5+2 looks pretty dope too!!
Currently have Aful MagicOne. Quite pleased with tonality and build quality. I believe Aful Performer 5+2 is an upgrade from Performer 5, which I never tried before, in terms of sound quality.
I’ve got two different Fat Freq items. The Deuce and the Maestro Mini. The difference I think is similar to the difference from the Aful Performer 7 and the Oracle. The cheap one is a bit crispier in the high mids in both cases. But in comparison they still sound good. Salute you for another great review!
I currently in my IEM infancy and have the Tangzu Wan'er and the KZ Castors. I love how IEMs sound, but got to try my friends Campfire Andromeda S. Looking forward to hearing something with more technicality and resolution, and for it unearth details in my music I had no noticed before!
I’ve listened to classical music more as I’ve gotten older. Also cinematic performances have definitely gotten my attention of late I hope to experience a sound stage that encompasses the music in its entirety.
It would be my greatest honor in life to impress HifiGo with my math prowess. I studied hard for this one and didn’t ask for *any* help: 5+2=7. There. That was exhausting. Now, on to the other item. I’ve got the MD Kadenz. These days, I find myself on the lookout for a clean yet silky presentation with physical bass that respects a border. I like a clean, textured midrange and incisive treble that’s not draped in too much warmth. The Aful Cantor is my all-time favorite Aful set. I thought the P8 closely matched my beloved Raptgo Hook-X.
Very thorough review! I got into the hobby about a year ago and have been collecting budget level iem's during that time. My best all around set at the moment is the 7Hz Sonus. I am certain that the Aful Performer 5+2 would be an upgrade in every aspect. I am also VERY interested in the Aful Explorer as I LOVE the look of the shells and am curious as to how it sounds in person!
Hi, I share your taste in bands, especially with the Cure! I enjoy Kato, which despite the graphics sound to me with more bass than the P5 that I was able to try once. At least a thicker sound, I don't know... I hope you were able to listen to the new Cure album, I think we're going to enjoy it like we did with Disintegration, it's great. Greetings
I've heard great things about other Aful IEMs, and the Performer 5+2 are very intriguing. My most recent IEM purchases included the Moondrop X Crinacle Dusk and Hisenior Mega-5EST to try the 'new mta' tuning, but I'm always on the lookout for other interesting IEMs.
Aful has not missed with any of their releases! Lately been enjoying sliivo sl41 mk2 but def think performer 5+2 with the extra treble extension will outperform
I've had the Explorer for a couple of months, and it has such a pleasant, grounded and relatively neutral signature while still retaining vibrancy, essence and musicality of the source material that's being fed into it. I consistently find myself quite content to wear and listen to the Explorer for hours on end without building up any fatigue or harshness. It has a darker and almost pillowy sound signature that's equally a good companion on a long hike, or when I need some music to lean on and help me follow through on house cleaning and other chores without getting too distracted. That said, I'm looking for a more engaging IEM that levels up instrument separation, layering and treble clarity. I listen to a lot of bluegrass and will often utilize headphones to transcribe and learn guitar, banjo and mandolin parts. To that end, it sounds like the Performer 5+2 might just be the ticket.
First review I've tuned into after recommendation from Crinacle. I listen to 70s to 90s music and some classical music. Coupled with that some gaming as well. Currently rocking Shure 1840s, Focal Celestee as my two headphones. Just starting to get into IEMs and recently started with Moondrop Arias
Enjoying listening Ben Howard and Men I Trust on my Truthear Gate. I'm hoping for improvement on soundstage, imaging and detail with the Aful Performer 5+2. Thank you!
Current daily is the Aful Explorer! I love the fact that it’s just so chill and easy to listen to but I wish that it had more forward vocals and a sparklier treble.
Thanks for the review, was really looking forward to it! I'm currently using my good old Audiosense T800 with white Knowles dampers while listening to the "Held Together" album by "Aberdeen". I expect the Aful performer to sound slightly less V shapped, more controlled with comparatively snappier bass, while retaining some excitement. Timbre wise, the T800 is also not the perfect, especially in the lower treble, so they may actually have that in common. Also looking forward to trying micro planar tweeters, that seem to be getting popular.
Loving my Aful Performer 5! Totally rocks! One of my faves already!. I hope the Aful Performer 5+2 IEMs improve upon the original Performer 5 in areas like clarity and detail retrieval (especially in the higher frequencies), soundstage width and imaging, and overall balance and tonality. Since it has 2DD drivers, the bass response could also be enhanced with improved texture, speed, and control, avoiding any bloat or muddiness. Build quality, cable quality, and comfort could also see improvements.
I'm listening to pop genres like kpop and heavy stuff like alternative rock and nu metal. Hope the Aful Performer 5+2 can deliver smooth treble with nice note weight, better slam, detail bass and better clean and clear vocal, for an awesome performance. Because for Aful Performer 5, I really love the set.
Hey! Currently satisfied with a rotation between the Truthear Hexa, Etymotic ER2SE, and the KZ Castor. I really like a great midrange for female vocals and detailed treble. Aful has been doing a great job so far, would love to have the Performer 5+2! Thank you
My most used iem is single planar MP145 for now. I really like metal music with fast double pedal kick drum. I really like what MP145 can achieve in this genre, but I hope Performer 5+2 can do it better with hybrid drivers for better technicality in separation and soundstage.
I'm currently listening via the Tanchjim Origin. I love the clarity and detail in soundstage, as well as its overall resolving nature and timbre - I'm very curious to hear what the P5+2 can offer in terms of sound signature and 'coloration', since some songs I listen to seem to lack that last little bit of heft and vibrancy. It mostly depends on how much emotion and expression the music itself retains from its mixing and mastering, though I would love to hear what a less neutral/analytical and more flavored approach sounds like, especially when it comes to the lower midrange and the sub bass. Furthermore, I've never tried a hybrid or tribrid configuration, so it would be interesting to hear if there is in fact a difference between that versus a single DD when it comes to resonance and how organic and cohesive it sounds.
Listening on the Aful magic one mainly for movie soundtracks, really appreciate the engineering behind this iem such as the tubing (probably a helmotz resonator?) and how a single ba has good tuning and that’s why I daily drive it. looking forward to aful’s 5+2, i am looking forward to hear what their engineers manage to cook up, like the increase in the sub bass regions and the more mid centric tuning smoother treble is a bonus as well
I'm listening on my 3rd set of IE300s because of repairs needed, so I would love to get this IEM it would improve upon everything, including reliability.
I'm listening to EXPLORER on AFUL, but I'd like to listen to the even more evolved performer7+2😳 In particular, I am concerned about the enhancement of the bass due to the 2DD and the improved grain standing due to the plane😳 And most of all, it's beautiful✨
Hi Mark, I appreciate your reviews. For the past several months I've been listening the Kiwi Quintet (before the ikko OH10). I'm looking for a sound upgrade, better technical performance and detail but with a really good bass presence and I hope the performer 5+2 gives that. In Mexico it is very difficult to test iems. Thank you
I have a Yanyin Canon 2 I've been daily driving for about a year now. They sound great, but I do feel like I could do with a change. I love the way these look, they remind me of the Aful Band 5, the Chinese(I believe) market variant for the Performer 5. Green is my favorite color, so this would be very welcome in my collection. I also have the Truthear Zero, and I love them for certain moods but I think the Canon 2 is better overall. I'd love to try these out, they look like they'd be great for a lot of my library.
Beautiful review with comparisons and graph analysis
Thank you for the review. I have the AFUL EXPLORER and definitely looking for an upgrade in the high ends for more sparkle and clarity. Explorer requires, unfortunately, to be listened at high volume for better staging. The reason i think P5+2 is a natural upgrade.
Currently running Aful p5 and quintet. Have been following this set closely as the p5 is almost to my preference. I bit more soundstage and treble extension is exactly what I’m looking for! Great review as always
Nice review, as always. I'm using Truthear Hexa as my daily drivers and they're my favorite. Now I'm listening The Dear Hunter's "Act V" album.
I always enjoy your reviews. Currently using the Hexa, got them from your recomendation, and the P5. I hope the P5+2 is a mix of both iems' strenghts.
“On the small side of medium large” is the greatest description.lol. Covers all bases 😂
Nice one Mark. Interested in reviewing this set as well. The $200-$350 market is so competitive with great options.
I’ve had a few iems around the same price as pilgrims, and I always preferred the pilgrims more.
My current iems are a pair of Soundpeats Light and doing research to get my first pair of proper iems. Your videos are a great help for this!
I wonder the same thing also! curious to know
It's a steal for the price only USD$239 from HIFIGO with discount Coupon, I've ordered one yesterday, I will prove all the reviewers review accuracy on this set AFUL IEMs. both Explorer and Performers 8 have impressed me a lot , not the fan of Pilgrim, SLT6 , Zenns TOP and S12 pro, Olina SE HBB , I'VE got rid of them all , only AFUL are the best of the best , best sound, value, clarity, texture,Tone, and Tuning , way more affordable than the Thieaudio for the price and quality.
I will come back for my experience with the P 5+2 Thank You.
Great review. Currently using Red:zero with qudelix as my daily driver.
Hey Mark (and Community)
Thank‘s for another great Review.
Yayy a new video. I'm watching this video on my wired earpods, I don't have any IEMs and I'd love to improve on every aspect of it. 😄
Ive using p5 almost 2 years now. I hope p7 will be solid upgrade detail and soundstage. thanks for the review.
Great review! I'm listening to the Artti T10 right now and just recently I discovered that I'm very sensitive in the upper mids area, so sets with subdued presentation in this range like the AFUL P5+2 always get my attention.
good review, im so interested with aful performer. wish me luck
I'm planning an upgrade from my moondrop kato, this is a good addition to my collections. 😊
I'm listening to Seu Jorge (Quem nao quer sou eu) and Maro (we've been loving in silence), and I hope they improve my mpb listening sessions as I also hope to win this set lol, shout out from Brasil ❤
AFUL P5+2 delivers a really smooth sound, I have pre-purchased one(Tried my friend's review unit before). Thanks for your take as well Mark.
How is the bass on it ?
@@RobertMartino98 the bass is good, but not for bass heads (like not enough bass) I hear
Listening to Go Go Penguin on the DITA Project M, and would love some more exciting bass.
Thanks as always for a great review, Mark 👌
I currently use the KZ EDX Pro, and this would be an improvemnt in literally every parameter! 😅
Would REALLY appreciate it if I got this, but I've been saving towards buying the Explorer for a while anyway, so even if I didn't my hearts still set on getting a set from you guys.
That's what I'd love to see from this Aful set.
thanks for the review. my budget isn't getting there but imma try to get the p5+2 when i can
Fantastic review as always. Would've loved KE4 in the comparison section tho.
For me P5 would be a notable downgrade from the Hexa. The upper mids to treble just feels wonky and weird imo.
@hartyewh1 So my fears are justified, ha. What would you recommend, kind sir? Needless to say, I want something very mid-focused while being neutral and warm-ish
@@martillo_ I'd go with the new meta like Dusk or Kiwi Ears KE4 for that budget.
The tuning is quite interesting. I like this brand.
Love your reviews, i am now listening to Ben Bohmer, would like to hear improved bass quality on this set! ❤ Keep up the good work sir!
Nice and detailed review 🔊 thanks for sharing your impressions
Lately been enjoying sliivo sl41 mk2 but def think performer 5+2 with the extra treble extension will outperform
finally! a review from Super* Review on these pair! listening with Aful Performer 5 right now!
I am in! I have hana 2024 and would love to move to multiple driver iem. AFUL! FTW!!!!
I'm listening to EXPLORER on AFUL, but I'd like to listen to the even more evolved performer7+2😳
In particular, I am concerned about the enhancement of the bass due to the 2DD and the improved grain standing due to the plane😳
And most of all, it's beautiful✨
great review! CKLV D41 and a super mix for me. I hope it's gonna sounds different. I'm expecting a Dunu davinci coming soon. :)
I have the Aful magic One and the Explorer as my all rounders because of the fit and comfort and I hope that continues with the Performer 5+2 😃
