Wendy - I just re-read the book a second time. I’ve had it for years. What you were saying about synchronicity, and always having faith that despite perceived obstacles, God will light the path, are wonderful ideas that I find myself gravitating toward as I’m trying to find my own true path in life, over 50, and trying to gain clarity. Your story is compelling. You express yourself so wonderfully, and I absolutely know Bree is watching over and protecting you always. I hope you’re well!

I am a physiotherapy student. Just find out your channel today randomly through the algorithm. I cried when listening to the story (especially the part Bree's father visited and Bree tried to say goodbye to him💔she is a happy kind hearted angel) You are the most loving dedicated mom I have ever seen💪❤ Your hard work protects Bree and gives her a happy healthy life.
(btw allow me to digress a little bit, your english is very easy to understand for a non native speaker like me. Maybe you can become an online English teacher 💪)

My story is SO different yet SO similar to yours I too take care of my children not to the extent of Bree but it is definitely a full time job with little to no help ..I am fortunate enough to understand your thinking and feel the same about it ..these kiddos really change lives the saying is true while I was saving them they were saving me..your story is truly remarkable I won't speak bad of someone I don't know but I do hope that Walter realizes what he missed out on and I hope you find a new purpose

So sad she was never able to progress......at least she had a good life with loving parents...........i guess its a blessing she was vegetive in her thought process, that way she never understood her limitations.
Ive seen so many videos of other wolfhirschorn children...........most of them are very physical, verbal, and even mentally happy, of course with limitations........walking, talking, smiling, thinking, asking questions etc etc
But poor Bree is without a doubt the worse case ive ever seen, basically just a small step above vegetive.
Its also really sad no one would stand with her for five or ten minutes a day, so that bree could stand for that short period and maintain her muscles she used for standing, i mean she was incredibly lean so i know she weighed next to nothing, it wouldn't have been physically straining at all. But at least bree wouldn't have noticed the loss of that ability or missed it, due to her absence of cognitive thinking i mean.
And i never noticed her moving, at all, on her own, if she wasn't pushed she literally wouldn't have movec AT ALL!!!! But at least it didn't bother her, she wasn't suffering, she just had no concept or thought process of any of it........... ignorance is bliss i guess🤷🤷🤷
Im just really curious why her case was so much more severe than any other case???????

Wow your rent was $700 a month back then??? Our mortgage payment isn't even that much in today's day and age (2023)! Even with homeowners insurance it's just a little more than $700 a month

Very sad Bree's father lost interest in her, she was a human being and not a hobby you just lose interest in. But I wonder too if maybe depression affected him losing interest as seems he started drinking lot but still a child is your responsibility and you fight for your child.

But even worse that he was fighting you to not support her when you where the only one caring for Bree, unforgivable. And to not even go to her funeral, chocking. Bree was such a beautiful person, made me tear up how she reached out her hand to him. I wonder if she was sad or confused why her father never visited her. Sounds like that man who payed your rent for 8 years cared more about her. She was still capable of affecting people even if she couldn't speak.

She said he did go to her funeral. It did sound like he didn’t at first. I know.

I hate to sound cynical but you should try to reach back out to Walter. Just to be friends. You don’t have the responsibility of Bree anymore so he might be ok with it. I do understand that you’re still grieving over Bree. I just feel like it would bring closure. Maybe he will apologize for being uninterested in Bree.

Also did it ever cross his mind that maybe because he wasn’t helping Bree wasn’t improving as much as he wanted her to?
