This is the third you tube I have watched today and I am so glad I found yours. I am not into all the fancy stuff with cutters and measurements which is why I like this video. I have a very hectic life so always look for the quickest tutorials. I like how you made so much fun I am going to add flower just like you did. Thanks for posting.
Cool idea! Thanks for the how-to video. Nice color, I love green too! I had to go back and watch again to check out your scissors...LOL! Was paying too close attention but apparently not! LOL. Very cute ones. No hobby lobby near us here though...dang.
Just a tip - You can cut them all the way up to the side seam, but leave the seam in tact. Then you don't have to cut and tie an extra piece. It's a wide infinity scarf that way, but it bunches up once each of the strands curls. :)
you may use the sleeves for a bracelet . . .. Well tks to you I made them . . . The scarf . . . and then the bracelet. . . Keep up your good ideas. . . .and thanks for sharing them. . .
A regular cotton tshirt or blend will stretch out if you pull on it. I had my hubby help me stretch them out, or I wrapped it around a door knob and pulled too. :)
Thanks 4 the video :) Made like 10 of these for myself. My mom has a couple n my sister bring me every old tee shirt she can find lol she has as many as me.. :)
Infinity scarf: also known as a circle, loop, or eternity scarf; a scarf that is continuous, or without ends, which can be looped around the neck or draped around the arms.
"Real" infinity scarves have a twist in them that makes them resemble the symbol for infinity, which looks like a figure eight laid down horizontally, or like a mobius strip, which is twisted and has no beginning and no end.
@dentalgoggles It's not a thin t-shirt that you can see thru- just a cheap, regular tshirt- nothing fancy. It was literally a free promotional shirt with purchase of 7up ;)

@jazzy2010cougars that made me smile! :) They aren't fabric scissors like I am 'supposed' to use-- but, they are fun and pretty, right? I bought them at Hobby Lobby :)
I suppose this tshirt must be thick? I bought several from Old Navy and when I stretched the two-inch wide loop, I got a stretched out piece of tshirt material with no curling. Disaster.
Sarah, This look so easy. I bought 2 shirts and neither one would curl at all . The first one I made 7 pieces, then I watched the tutorial again The second I made 5 out of the second like you did. Is there a special material. I have pulled and pulled. What am I doing wrong. HELP.. Thanks for taking your time to show me this.
omer kroitero Sarah, You are correct, it has to be 100% cotton. Most Tee shirts I have are half polyester and half cotton. Thank you so much for the lesson. your are wonderful to take your time to show us this fun hobby.
I LIKE the fact that the strips were made fast + imperfect with scissors that were handy. very cute and inspiring to just create + have fun!

I made my first infinity scarf...terrific, so glad that I saved a lot of old jewelry. Thank you
Very, very cute and I like the idea of re-cycling something you may just want to throw out! Very nice!
I really like the end result...especially as a long scarf with the flower! CUTE!
What a cool idea!!! TFS Such a good way to recycle those old t-shirts!!
It's funny how a colour that looks so ugly on a tshirt looks so awesome as a scarf :D this was really cool to watch. Thx!

I love those scissors!
The bracelet is a fantastic idea!!
LOVE YOUR SCISSORS!
I LOVE your scissors !!!

That's funny about your sister!! You ladies will have one to go with every outfit!
I am sorry you feel that way--I am not a sewer-- but, I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip.
ur ring is beautiful

It's called an infinity scarf because it is a circle and doesn't have tails like a traditional scarf.
i love the idea! thank you! U can also pin them together with some pin flower or a broach.
Infinity scarf: also known as a circle, loop, or eternity scarf; a scarf that is continuous, or without ends, which can be looped around the neck or draped around the arms.
A rotary cutter would make this even easier!
Great video. This is how to recycle. Good job!!!!!!
A cool idea might be to use a piece of the logo or another material for the closure square.
She must be a cool teacher! ;)
Alva Valle I just did it using a singlet and it's looks great
"Real" infinity scarves have a twist in them that makes them resemble the symbol for infinity, which looks like a figure eight laid down horizontally, or like a mobius strip, which is twisted and has no beginning and no end.
Great Idea... Use your foot to to help you pull. Very easy so you don't damage a door.
Pretty and easy . I love it.🍉🍉🍉
that is so cute thanks for the ides cant wait to try it
@dentalgoggles It's not a thin t-shirt that you can see thru- just a cheap, regular tshirt- nothing fancy. It was literally a free promotional shirt with purchase of 7up ;)
How do you tie that scarf? Do a video on how to tie that scarf.
That was so cute with the white shirt! What'd you use for the flower? A hair band?
I love your scissors
Awesome scissors!!!!
A rotary cutter and matt would make this project a lot neater and easier.
AMEN!!! It was actually painful to watch the cutting part!!
Not everyone has a rotary cutter- including myself when I made this video. However, I didn't let that stop me from making the scarf.

Wowww..Scarfs have TOTALLY REVOLUTIONIZED...I Luv It!! Thank-U! What was THAT??? a Kneet Sleeve Bracelet?! ...Oooohhhh Make a Video some day. :O)
Great idea you need to invest in some good scissors.
Evelyn Jean Amponsah Next time I'll grab the sewing ones instead of the sparkly ones.

Thank you soooo much. This is fantastic!
Very cute idea and super simple....thanks! :>)
A good pair of FABRIC scissors would make nicer cuts also.
i cnt see any thing but i loved your voice
I liked that t-shirt :( I love 7 up x
Very good idea
It's called an infinite scarf because most of them are really long and you wrap them around your neck.
@jazzy2010cougars that made me smile! :) They aren't fabric scissors like I am 'supposed' to use-- but, they are fun and pretty, right? I bought them at Hobby Lobby :)
Very clever!!
I love helping others
That's pretty easy
Ummmm it is ok I wouldn't ware it though
i paused the video where the hell did u get ur scissors fromm i loveee them :)
Thanks ps love the scissors
class,love it
What is this
Gracias por sus pensamientos
:) They came from Hobby Lobby in the stationary section, not the crafting section :)
could you make it with just one strip so its more bulky and better for the winter
Thanks! Hobby Lobby in the stationary section :)
Great advice, but I wouldn't have been able to film that way.
Sarah, you need some larger scissors!! LOL But thanks for sharing this. :)
Oooooo I want to make one!!!!!
You have the same scissors my teacher has and she as tape too
Thank you!
thanks for sharing :) i've tried some of my own.. let me know what you think :)
that WAS a VINTAGE collector tee
It wasn't - it came free with 7up weeks before I made this video--so not vintage, if it's from 2011 ;)
@@SarahHamer I don't think you know what is meant by vintage tee.
how do you stretch them out? is it a certain fabric or material, or it works with anything?
i want your scissors. its soooooooo cute
where did you get those BEDAZZLED scissors???? I need them more than i need air!
Wel u done awesome wrk it's kool
good idea
This is so easy I am sling them for 5 dollars for cancer I am so nice I care for other people
I have cancer but getting worse
And am so scared 😟
love it
@Nolavalamp Yes you can! :) I just made another one tonight!
do the shirts need to be seamless on the sides?
Awesome!!
is this just for t shirts or any type of shirt??
I love it....
I suppose this tshirt must be thick? I bought several from Old Navy and when I stretched the two-inch wide loop, I got a stretched out piece of tshirt material with no curling. Disaster.
Nice!!! Thank you for sharing. :)
@Dace1120 I did make a braid one after this, but no video ;) I'll try to send you the link
what kinda fabric was it though?? kinda curious
Why not use longer scissors?
It is easier to cut if you have a cutter for material that looks like a pizza cutter.
NICE!! cool vid*)
It was the scissors I was using-- they are usually used for paper--so they were dull and not as sharp as fabric scissors need to be. Oops!
With rhinestones? ;)
very good
where did u get your scissors!
So gonna use this
awesome
The scissors seem to be dull.
important thing is the result
O.M.G. I saw a lot of orbs in this video!😱 Be carefull.
FABRIC SCISSOR would have made this so much easier.
Nice tutorial. Great idea
Vv nice mam 👌👌👌
So want to see the end of this but keeps locking up.....noooooo
Yes they are nice scissors
Sarah, This look so easy. I bought 2 shirts and neither one would curl at all . The first one I made 7 pieces, then I watched the tutorial again The second I made 5 out of the second like you did. Sarah, You are correct, it has to be 100% cotton. Most Tee shirts I have are half polyester and half cotton. Thank you so much for the lesson. your are wonderful to take your time to show us this fun hobby.
Sarah Hamer
I used 50 % cotton and 50% polyester. I have found you can only use 100% cotton Thanks for your tutorial.
you sound like Pam from the Office!
