Let's see how "great" it is when they can't get to an accident in cold dark winter and someone dies. This has already been done elsewhere in the UK and the police cars sat parked up because they couldn't charge them when required.
These cars are only being used during the day at the moment due to staffing levels. They charge over night so they are ready for the day. If they require charge during the day there is a Tesla super charger based centrally on the motorway in Cumbria

@@cumbriafirephotosand you still have the problem of waiting for the fast charge to finish. It still puts lives at risk.
