- 6 units from the South Wales Police Cardiff based Armed Response Unit are seen responding urgently in convoy to an armed robbery involving a firearm! Also seen is the Bronze Commander, responding in the Unmarked car a few moments later, and the Specialist Search Team followed.
Also included in the compilation are other Police Cars Repsonding from South Wales Police, Fire Engines and trucks responding from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and Ambulances from the Welsh Ambulance Service.

The three Ambulances speeding on the Motorway looked like an NHS paramedic HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) team on their way to an emergency

I experienced something similar in an army land rover, driver decided that speed bumps didn't exist & went over them doing 40+, bang my head on the metal frame work in the back.

We do a job and have to respond to treble nine calls on blue lights, the public rarely give light to our presence, let alone film us deploying out to jobs. Why anyone would want to stand close to the routes in and out of the nick just to record police vehicles on blue lights, is beyond me. It's a distraction to road users, ooh there is a man filming, ooh there is a police car on blue lights in my rear view, who should I look at and pay attention to, whoops I've crashed because I wasn't watching the road ahead and checking my mirrors, instead I was taking sight of morons stood at the side of the carriageway making RUclips videos, I do apologise your worships.
Because that's what can happen and it does happen, so rather than film us turning out to jobs, maybe go film something else. Prize clown!!!

@I Am Sekou nobody knows police respond just as fast to shots fired in America and most of those cops probably don't have guns so they can't stop anyone
@@ryve4523 Those officers responding were ARV (Armed response vehicles) in the start so yes they were armed. And most of the officers are unarmed and if you want to get a gun you need to go through very tough and long specialised firearms training. The thing is unlike in the US, the UK doesn't have as many guns. And the thing is armed officers are ready to respond at a seconds notice and they take firearms related crimes VERY seriously in the UK.
@@ryve4523 Armed police in the UK are trained to a very high standard - 'SWAT' level, and they are expected to be accountable for every shot they fire. It is a very stressful job, as it should be.
@@ryve4523 You mean police officers who are trained a lot more strenuously then the american counterpart are dispatched into armed bmw x5s.
@tvercetti1 The reality is if there are guns in the equation, you need very, very serious coppers who can take on the role. That's not possible for the majority of the public, or even the majority of the Police. You need coppers who can maintain calm in the absolute worst of situations.

Takes a while to get to Merthyr from Cardiff. They need their own armed Police.
There's usually a 'North Car', which covers Pontypridd, Merthyr and the valleys, however this was at shift changeover, so came from cardiff
