*SHOOTING* New ARMED & Unmarked Police cars responding urgently in high speed convoy!

- South Wales Police armed response units are seen responding at high speed in convoy on blue lights and sirens to a full authority firearms call in Cardiff, from their base in Rumney in the east of the city! An unmarked OFC car & response units can also be seen responding to the same call.
Also included in the video are other videos of emergency vehicles responding in Cardiff - Fire engines responding from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and Ambulance vehicles from the Welsh Ambulance Service & St John Ambulance.

Plenty of new Volvo SUVs, Volvo the main choice for police after BMW stepped down by announcing that they would no longer be supplying UK Police forces earlier this year.
i thought it was the police choice to stop using BMW's

Depending on who you choose to believe there are 2 explanations but only one is correct.
According to the UK Police BMW diesel engines keep going on fire and are therefore flawed.
However, there have been stories in the past of the same thing happening with Volvos as well.
The real reason is the way that 90% of police officers drive the cars, the engine is switched on at the start of their shift and you are lucky if it's ever completely switched off for any real length of time during the whole 8 hours of their shift, so it's not really rocket science that the cars are going to end up catching fire especially when they are given no real opportunity to cool down - not that you would ever get a police officer to accept responsibility for their actions.
BMW has obviously got pissed off at UK police forces bad-mouthing their vehicles without genuine reason, not the first time BMW has withdrawn
They did the same thing with the makers of James Bond movies after a Z3 cabtiolet was sawn in half in The World is not Enough.😖😠☹

But I do know that it was the police officers who were driving the vehicles fault that the engines were going on fire and nothing whatsoever to do with BMW.
@neilburns8869 Thats bmw for you never taking responsibility. I also belive volvo is much more comfy to work in. They often win this part along officers. Never seen on news in Sweden volvo police cars burning due to electrical faults or engine problems. Tried google it but can't find any.

I seen something similar to this in Manchester near to Openshaw yesterday. 3 armed response and an unmarked in a tight convoy going down the wrong side of the road then a little further on another normal police and an unmarked coming from the opposite direction. My guess would be a high speed chase of someone with a firearms marker on their car. Not seen any confirmed shootings in the news. UK has become lawless

The green lights on each side of the front number plate of the police BMW at 5:00. Are they for changing the traffic lights, as in Australia?
They're blue lights on the side of the number plate surround, they only look green as they're reflecting against the fluorescent colouring of the car
Im ex Australian copper, we dont have devices that control traffic lights....I've actually been fined whilst in a police vehicle, for running a yelow/red without a reasonable excuse as I wasn't attending job.
If we had this tech...I wouldn't be getting fine, believe me.
Queensland has had emergency vehicle priority (EVP) technology for almost a decade now. I don't know about other states and territories. Whilst it is being rolled out very slowly, many Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) vehicles have them as a standard installation, even though they may not be located in EVP activated areas.

I find it alwasy funny how drivers clig up the roads with their personal little and fat SUVS and small forward thinking / vision and then still expect the emergency services to serve them.

there’s no RL camera on that junction, and they were both clearly acting with good intent so even if there was it would be thrown out of court - absolutely not in the public interest to prosecute

I think all high viz marking and uniform should only be worn at traffic problems and crashes! Why telegraph your coming! And Bobby's on the beat no high viz catch far more criminals ! That's what it was like back in the 60's 70's! A big copper use to step out and stop you and was able to chase and catch you if need be not like some of the porker morbidly obese dwarfs we have now just out of uni!! you didn't see them stood near a dark building or tree, especially with the tall helmets!far better than being spotted a mile away! high viz vehicles and uniforms ! And your typical of most out of touch people who think the 60’s were better. The 60’s actually saw the biggest rise in crime theres ever been (office for national statistics). Bobbies on the beat are a waste of time. They need to be more mobile, attend more jobs, carry more equipment and cover a larger area.
