    Funny watching the police respond and finally drive on the correct side of the road (even though it’s against traffic)

    Apart from panda cars, are they not using Vauxhalls any more? One time they were widely used in various forms.

    Is it correct that most unmarked units are for DCI officers that are always armed?

    • @HenrysEmergencyVideos
      @HenrysEmergencyVideos  9 месяцев назад +2

      no mate not at all , regular ERPT constables use unmarked cars

    • @findthebadger418
      @findthebadger418 6 месяцев назад +1

      No. Not at all.
      There are a range of unmarked vehicles across policing.
      Secondly to that, other agencies such as fire and ambulance have a range of unmarked vehicles

    Why the lack of mag mount roof lights? Surely they would increase the visibility of the vehicles especially at emerging at junctions.

    • @rjltest
      @rjltest 9 месяцев назад

      They shouldn't need mag mounts if the drivers of the civilian cars and vans paid more attention to their mirrors and the noise of the sirens,! Too many drivers with headphones or ear buds on loud these days!

    I think, at this point in time, anyone with a clean & undamaged 25+ thousand pound car that’s less than 5 years old, could fit blue lights & sirens & drive around London with no problem! There are so many unmarked so called response vehicles, no one knows who is who !!!! Only automatic speed & traffic light cameras are going to cause you an issue because they just read your VRM.

    I think their sirens are too squeaky like a plastic Dog toy. I'm surprised the Operatives don't get Tinnitus. They need rumbling low tones.

    • @HenrysEmergencyVideos
      @HenrysEmergencyVideos  9 месяцев назад

      who’s sirens?

    • @richardeisenmenger2678
      @richardeisenmenger2678 9 месяцев назад

      I disagree. Lower tones you'd never hear above the traffic

    • @andrewbr1786
      @andrewbr1786 9 месяцев назад

      I think traditionally they use higher siren tones as after they studied pitches they found higher tones cut through the monotonous rumble of traffic more effectively.
