I tried it and found it sounds good but kind of shallow lacking true low end depth. You can definitely hear the low frequencies but it sounded artificial. I returned it and got the soundcore rave neo. No regrets.
No, it does warn you about low battery like previous models but it doesnt lower the volume this time which is a plus point for sony and moreover it comes stamina mode so now you can pull out all the juice from it.
That camera does a nice job, doesn’t make you look any better but I don’t even think a RED camera could help you there. Oh and nice speaker review too. 😂🤣
I know I'm late to the party... I recently bought a pair of XB23's & when I heard about the multiple (up to 100) connected speakers I thought "Wouldn't it be cool if it had 2.1 stereo connectivity & have an XB33 as the subwoofer", maybe in the next generation!!?

I switched from 30 to this 33, and yeah, the 33 is definitely better. It has a way more rich mids, and deeper bass response with the extra bass boost . Only the Stamina mode is a weak point, because it dramatically cuts the lower bass frequencies.

The vocals on the xb33 sounded muffled compared to the xb32 playing the same songs.. I actually bought the xb33 twice and returned it twice comparing it to the xb32...imo the xb32 always sounded better, clearer ,stronger bass playing the same songs as a comparison...xb33 not bad but xb32 won out by a noticeable amount..just my opinion and yours may differ...
I think your ears might have something lacking. Not sure how that's possible. Not trying to rag on you or anything but maybe something you should get checked out one day by the doctor? I had a JBL charge 3 but it started having multiple issues after only 3 years of very gentle indoor use, so I didn't feel they deserved my money again (Especially considering that they're marketed as a durable "go anywhere" speaker) I decided to replace it with this instead of a JBL charge 4. Judging by the tons of RUclips videos there are on how to try and repair multiple issues on the JBL charge line of speakers, and by my own experience..I can only conclude they're poorly made trash that will only last a couple years and are not worth your money.
@@EnglishDanReviews Yeah theres no way a speaker that never left my bookshelf OR even ever got turned up loud (because I have bitchy neighbors) should be not staying on more than an hour if you dont plug it in AND rattling horribly sounding like one of the speakers is blown after 3 years of such gentle use. JBL made good traditional wired speakers but they clearly need to go back to the drawing board on their bluetooth speaker venture. Sounded great while it lasted and I love the design and having so many cool color options..but what difference does it make when it has no durability? I may give JBL another chance in the far future after they hopefully rectify their issues, but they've definitely lost my business for quite a while.

Hey Nicole. While I don't use it anymore I did use it for quite a while. I used it while plugged in ao charging wasn't an issue. The only reason its not used anymore for this setup is purely down to taking it on the road with us. Its still my fave speaker
I love the sony speaker tryed so many and there it is its mine. Live mode with EQ in combi is so nice my fav over the motion + really worth the 90€ cheers

I believe it’s because of the LEDs but you can turn those off in the Sony app so that you have better Battery life.
