He's the reason I became a chef. His enthusiasm affected me so much as a kid I knew 1 day I'd be cooking in a restaurant. Absolute legend.

I have all of Keith's DVD's and several of his Books. He was a one off. So flamboyant, daring and just bloody brilliant.
They don't make them like Keith anymore sadly.
Oh and we both served in Fallingbostel, Germany with the Army.
    Steve in Scotland.

Adored watching Floyd in my bachelor pad years. Early 2000's, needing to learn to cook and be a better male person that could stand his ground in the cooking department at least!. Repeats of Keith doing his thing were an absolute lesson................can truly see, why he was and is still admired by so many tv chefonalities who devoured his ethos and energy. LEGEND.................

    There we are….
No nastiness, but just the odd dig and swig. As a young married man, who knew a bit about cooking, to me, he was something of an inspiration. He plainly was a brilliant cook, and so many of us learned as much, and a whole lot more about the great art and necessity of cooking. Today, we may see on RUclips, all the greatest cooks/chefs of the latter part of the last century and more recently, in their kitchens, cooking their favourite dishes, shouting at their Staff, and doing what people under pressure tend to do. Floyd did it too, but without malice.
    Great Man!

The tragedy of alcohol is it destroys your stomach and therefore much of your health. I eagerly went down the Floyd route as a chef until I got ulcers and a paralysed liver and really had to get a lot of help to stop. But moderation isn't as much fun now is it?
