I have all of Keith's DVD's and several of his Books. He was a one off. So flamboyant, daring and just bloody brilliant. They don't make them like Keith anymore sadly. Oh and we both served in Fallingbostel, Germany with the Army. Steve in Scotland.
I saw him as a kid with my parents at the Edinburgh book festival. He was incredibly charismatic and a phenomenal storyteller. He captivated an audience of all ages whilst polishing off two bottles of red. A true TV legend.
He was and remains an inspiration to me, what he could throw together outdoors, on a camping gas ring, while pished out of his head, and his interactions with real people and real ingredients; a unique character.
Fantastic video. Thank you for uploading it. I did notice Nigella wasn't there though lolol. Her on coke and floyd on grog would have been a bloody good laugh
There are not many televiosn personalities or even individuals in general who can honestly say they fundamentally changed the way the country did things - but i think he truly did. Cooking became cool largely because of him. Bravo Keith
Adored watching Floyd in my bachelor pad years. Early 2000's, needing to learn to cook and be a better male person that could stand his ground in the cooking department at least!. Repeats of Keith doing his thing were an absolute lesson................can truly see, why he was and is still admired by so many tv chefonalities who devoured his ethos and energy. LEGEND.................
He’s an original. He’s amazing. Being loved & admired by many- Keith Floyd. ….. He’s left to the better place. So much missed. RIP Mr,Keith. A great Tribute. Thank you for the uploading.
He was a one of likable character with excellent cooking skills. Loved his food and drink just like me I hope he is in cooking heaven and a better world
There we are…. No nastiness, but just the odd dig and swig. As a young married man, who knew a bit about cooking, to me, he was something of an inspiration. He plainly was a brilliant cook, and so many of us learned as much, and a whole lot more about the great art and necessity of cooking. Today, we may see on RUclips, all the greatest cooks/chefs of the latter part of the last century and more recently, in their kitchens, cooking their favourite dishes, shouting at their Staff, and doing what people under pressure tend to do. Floyd did it too, but without malice. Great Man!
They’re long gone, weren’t they!…. A truly wonderful world of the good old days. Sad. Stay healthy🙂Have a nice day. He’s left to the better place. RIP Mr.Keith.
The tragedy of alcohol is it destroys your stomach and therefore much of your health. I eagerly went down the Floyd route as a chef until I got ulcers and a paralysed liver and really had to get a lot of help to stop. But moderation isn't as much fun now is it?
A true British national treasure. There will never be another quite like Keith Floyd,
UTV
I love him! ❤❤❤❤
He's the reason I became a chef. His enthusiasm affected me so much as a kid I knew 1 day I'd be cooking in a restaurant. Absolute legend.

My dad's mate worked on one of his houses and said he was the nicest bloke ever and treated them like royalty.
Without Keith Floyd I wouldn’t be writing this twenty years after moving from England to France, an inspiration.
Greetings and Merry Xmas.
Go back to France 😂
Lucky you. France is a wonderful country.
Who are you?
Thank you so so much. There will never be another Floyd, a true original.

Being from North America, I knew nothing about Keith and now I am a fan. Wondering if Anthony Bourdain ever watch the show
We should all live our lives like this man (minus all the marriages)!

Always looked forward to the Keith Floyd clips on your show , tbh they were the best bit
What a fantastic insight to this great man, BBC quality as usual
Ken Hom is such a diplomatic but generous person.
Sadly missed what a fckng wonderful charismatic personality. They just don’t make them anymore. In this dumbed down sanitised World. God bless you.
Great programme on an original, and pleased they didn’t give the egotistic James Martin too much air time.
Floyd On Fish was absolutely the best. 100 percent authentic!
they forgot one of the all-time best TV chefs . . . Graham Kerr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed, he was AND gREETINGS FROM bELGIUM. RIP

Floyd [with the possible exception of Delia] was the only tv chef in history that wasn't annoying
Having a big slurp watching this one!
Ditto mate
Floyd는 옛 시절의 정말 좋은 세계의 풍경들을 프로들에 남겨놓은.

What does that mean? Lost in translation.
Interesting to note it’s a Peterhead trawler!

I'm from across the pond. His voice seems so familiar. Did he ever guest on Midsomer?
Afraid not. You maybe think of the original pathology doc.

Yeah total legend should of been knighted without doubt!!! Especially when you see the likes of today get one 😡
A note to thought I've read his books more than once and that's true but he insists he was never drunk on camera? That's our Floyd true to form 😂🥳🍾🍷
