@@MuhammedAli-em7hi Yes I do, the sound stage is amazing in the headset and the mic quality on discord is also great. I play Rainbow Six Siege and it has helped me identify enemy locations from the sound of footsteps. They are very well build too and are very comfortable for long sessions. My only gripe about it would be that it has some cable noise when you have them on, but they're unnoticeable when gaming with other sounds.

The red one however is simply called the Alpha and not Alpha S and is a bit different in terms of connections and bass control. I personally recommend the Alpha S, black or blue is simply color preference.

I'm just going to put this out there, I have and have also heard of others having a major issue with the G Pro X - that is, they're very easy to break. Even a small nudge can kill one side, completely shutting it down, some have even had that happen without even hitting them, but while actually using them. For me , it was just a little nudge against the keyboard as I was setting them down, as I was about to go out, and when I came back the right side had completely stopped working, I tried everything, nothing fixed it, the only option was to send them back to the logitech tech support. Before I did, I tried one last time to see if it's not cable related issue, and while putting them on I tried to shake them a bit to see if there is rattling, if smth has come loose or smth inside, then tapped on the left ear as well, which caused it to stop working as well. Decided against getting a new replacement and just ordered different headphones as I could see that quite a few people have had the same issue over the interwebs and I didn't want to risk it. And no, it was not even a hard hit which caused the death, just imagine yourself getting off from your PC and just setting your headphones down, but accidentally hit the side of your keyboard while doing so, even the outside rubber coating did not get damaged, not even a scratch, and that killed them as a whole. Anyways going to try the Steelseries Arctis Pro, hope there are no such issues there...
I had my Logitech G Pro X from early Feb till 3 days ago when randomly while listening to a video the left speaker stopped working completely, I'm usually very careful with the way I handle my peripherals and was pretty surprised when it happened, after reading a bunch of reviews from other users, I'm much less surprised since this seems like a somewhat common occurrence. I have mine packaged right now in order to return it and I too, after reading all the reports, decided not to get a replacement and opted for a refund. It's a shame, while I disagree with the sound being much better than average (not noticeably better than the Razer Kraken imo), the microphone however after tweaking it with the software was clearly better than what you get from most "gaming" headsets, they are also very comfortable. Just a shame that they FEEL solid but aren't in fact solid at all. Just for reader reference I had a pair of Razer Krakens for over 3 years, razer products usually get a bad rep when it comes to being prone to breaking, and I used them extensively and even got replacement pads for them, I basically used them till the cable rubber got completely brittle and destroyed and the top arch pad flaked off and when I retired them, they still produced sound from both speakers.
@@iamsam9350 I did and I must say they're great. Comfortability wise are probably the best I've had. The Cloud 2's are a close 2nd and the G Pro X are unfortunately coming in at last. The quality of the audio is also probably a touch better than the G Pro X? But I think meddling with the equalizer has much to do with that, I guess you can achieve just about the same with both, so sound quality is amazing on both. For now I've not had a problem with the SteelSeries only software issues with the stupid SteelSeries engine app... but I guess a windows reinstall will fix that, I'll be trying that.
Great review, I bought the G Pro X the other day and i was blown away by the headset. By far the best audio compared to all the headsets that I've had. The microphone was also amazing, especially after some tweaking so that it would suit my voice. I think the way Logitech lets you change all the settings is the way to go, even though it's not for everyone, its really nice for us that want to fiddle around to get the best out of the products that we buy. However, it broke after a day, apparently it's very common for the right earcup to stop working. That was the last Logitech headset i ever bought, the audio has always been great with them but the build quality has been lacking at best. Since 2009 I've tried multiple Logitech headsets and the build quality has always been the issue. From the swivels breaking on the G35's and all their successors and the microphones dying on the g733's to the drivers just dying in the G Pro's. I am mad at myself for buying logitech again. I returned it and bought myself a HyperX Cloud Alpha S and I've done nothing but to complain about it. The audio is tinny and the fact that you cant change anything in the software feels like a joke to me, the headset is over €130 and it wont even let me change the audio profile? Great, now I'm mad at two companies for disappointing products and i still don't have a headset that works.

They're not bad headphones but they're not good either, definetly not worth the price. If you're looking for recommendations I would recommend the Corsair Void PRO's, I personally don't like the look of them, so I decided to try other ones, but they preform very well and the software has decent customizability in terms of audio settings. Price to performance is really good with them, coming in at under €80. But in all honesty, headphone preference is very subjective, and just because I feel a certain way about a pair of headphones does not mean that anyone else will agree. You should try some different pairs if you have the opportunity to see what you like.
I bought the HyperX Cloud Alpha S to use for PS4, but the 7.1 did not work right out the box. You do have to install and update. But it was well worth it!
@K C you can plug the 3.5 jack into the controller, but you won't get powered audio, and the headset needs some power to really drive it. You'll get weak sound basically. If you use the USB on the PS4, you do have to install a software update by plugging it into the PC first. Then you'll get powered sound to your headset, controls on the 7.1 sound card, and 7.1 sound if you want to use it. I highly recommend using the USB for sound on the PS4.
What about your voice in the mic in ps4 how dose it sound ? Also one more question is the bass and the audio quality in ps4 high and including the 7.1?

Got the alpha s. Best headset I ‘ve bought in years. Light to the point that you forget it, great build quality, perfect ear caps, ok to good mic, good sound, detachable cables, competitive price…what else would you want?! Also tried Log. Pro x…pretty similar all around but felt a bit heavier.
The G Pro X does sound great but I find it to be a bit quiet and at lower volume it lacks some of the quality I get when I turn it up. I find my self lowering them in Call of Duty but turning them completely up in games like The Witcher 3. I'm gonna get an external usb amp/dac to drive these because it might just be the one thing I need. The impedence on them is like 35-38 ohm so I'm not particularly worried.
@@SystematicHardware I'll get it soon. I can tell you one thing. The G Hub software will no longer work with the G Pro X because the external sound card to usb won't be used. That spot will be taken by an external dac/amp with it's own software. The sound quality will definetly improve but I'm not too sure about the microphone quality. I'm looking into getting a Sound Blaster X3 which does have a mic monitoring feature just like the G Pro X and it has a pretty heafty mic boost and smart volume for any mic. I don't know how much quality I might lose from the lack of the Blue Vo!ce but I am willing to give it a go. There is also a chat mixer feature on the dac/amp very similar to the Krakens. I really do think that by using the X3 it will ne become a really compelling pair.

Man some tips here, to your videos looks more professional you must work on some details, the audio when you speak is bad, is low, try to talk closer to the mic and to the camera for a better visual perspective and sound clarity, you can try normalize the volume if needed. And the video has litlle bit of noise, take care of the lightning/shadows it will make good difference in final results, mainly on close ups. You explanation was good man, keep going!
Wouldn’t touch Razer ever again. They’ve had really bad problem with their USB wireless and we’ve had to send 2 sets back and now fighting through section 75 as they claim we didn’t return with 14 days - which is tough to do given they didn’t respond. They look great but endless troubles - love the Corsair’s I’ve replaced them with though.

It is not the Razer Kraken, I can tell you that. Razer Headsets have a problem with the artificial leather (ear cubs) in the long run. You will notice that the artificial leather will crumble and peel off when between 2 and 3 years in usage. This has happened to me with Kraken Ultimate and lesser Kraken Headsets.

i have HyperX Alpha S and i have corsair hs60 pro but in rally HyperX Alpha S it is nothing beside corsair hs60 pro After my experience with Corsair HS60 Pro it is the best
The Alpha's are hella nice! But i hate the leather cups on them. Honestly Logitech sounds really good but the Alpha's are a win. Don't expect a rumble on these for bass. Also note that HyperX bass sliders just reduce or cut out the bass and the 7.1 is pretty good but makes it sound tinny and hollow in voice chat.
i just bought them and i would not recommend them, not comfortable with glasses and the worst software i have ever seen g Hub, just go on their reddit and you can see the tons of people having issues with them

Logitech and Razer both offer better value and have more features, but neither come close to the Alphas in terms of build quality, sound quality and overall reliability.
Hyper x they’re really good headset. I play warzone with a 2:1 kill death ratio and I’ve tried about 15+ different headsets. Honesty they lasted about 3 months before the left cup couldn’t play sound at certain volume levels. And the headset would cause my controller to just randomly stop. Once I got a new headset it fixed my controller. But if the hyper x is on sale and u can afford insurance they’re the best sound quality I’ve come across.

If playing and recording your videos aren't in surround sound I wouldn't purchase any of these headsets. You can spend less on a decent two channel/stereo headset to get what you're looking for.

@@SystematicHardware Initialy was obsesed with Steelseries Arctis Pro - minimalastic design and "for audiophiles" perk - "that reproduce Hi-Res audio out to 40,000 Hz, nearly double what most standard headsets are capable of (22,000 Hz).". Diggin' deeper found out these have serious design - durability flaws which are real issue if you are that planet-friendly person who like to use fav product really long time - 4 - 7 year. Also these are not friendly for the big heads :) Second selection was Hyperx Cloud Alpha S. Initially thought it was a serious upgrade (from Cloud Alpha) in all aspects from sound and mic to connectivity and convenience (cause it was released after several years after Cloud Alpha). But i was wrong - they added 7.1 surround (but im not 16yo anymore and find it more like useless gimmick or marketing trick) but also made some serious functionality flaws (in 3.5 mm mode you cannot control volume directly on the wire like you can do it on much cheaper Cloud Alphas). So finally i ordered HyperX Cloud Alphas :) :)

Hey even I have razer viper ultimate and black widow elite keyboard I thought of going razer headphone but I suggest you go for Logitech g Pro (2019) or g Pro x ( as both are same but mic is better in Pro x ) because Logitech g hub is good software because it doesn't run in background Why Logitech because razer sound stage is bad and hyper x is not as good as Logitech ones
Honest review after 3 days usage: I have been trying to get Alpha s for more than 2 yrs. Since the price was too high in my country I bought Sony xb-55ap earphone last year, hoping to buy alpha s this year 2021. I have used Sony earphones for more than 6months and alpha s for just 3 days now. I haven't changed the equalizer settings. Points- 1) hyperx had slightly more volume 2)Sony had better and more bass 3) Sony is worth the price -sony = 30$ -alpha s = 150$ 4) Both are built to last long 5) While playing Apex both were same (7.1 is nothing other than boosting the volume) I thought headphones gives really different gaming experience. That's why I bought even though it costed me 150$. But this Is a big disappointment coz 30$ earphone was on par with it Ask me if u HV any doubts *If anything different is observed I will update this*
HEY! i've been on the market for a new headset and i play a lot of Apex, which is one thing that helps me decide which one i keep, do you know the sound effect that plays when you start a match while on the lobby, that harsh sound sounds full and dont upset my ears on my old Logitech H390(CHEAP), but i recently test the Hyper X Flight and almost immediatly refund it, that sound there hurts my ears and the overral sound of the headset seems compressed, even the little quotes on the legends pick are thin and strange. So its been a hard time getting past that, im very relutant to buy a new one and have this extreme V shape signature destroying my hearing. *Do you know any options that have really good mids and good sound quality all together? i dont care about looks, the mic doesn't need to be awesome either*
I use the GPro X on my Xbox One plugged directly into the controller minus the surround sound of course. Works perfectly fine and sounds great. For reference, I had the original Cloud Alpha before and can pinpoint enemy locations in shooters far easier with the G Pro X.
Make sure to plug in the headphones via the usb cable rather than a 3.5 mm jack. Also, updating the actual usb adapter on your pc should fix the low volume. Try finding the update on the hyper x website. If you cant find it, then contact customer support and they'll give you the link.
The cables detach from the ear cups on both the Logitech Pro X and the HyperX Alpha S.

Got the alpha s. Best headset I ‘ve bought in years. Light to the point that you forget it, great build quality, perfect ear caps, ok to good mic, good sound, detachable cables, competitive price…what else would you want?! Also tried Log. Pro x…pretty similar all around but felt a bit heavier.

The G Pro X does sound great but I find it to be a bit quiet and at lower volume it lacks some of the quality I get when I turn it up. I find my self lowering them in Call of Duty but turning them completely up in games like The Witcher 3. I'm gonna get an external usb amp/dac to drive these because it might just be the one thing I need. The impedence on them is like 35-38 ohm so I'm not particularly worried.

@@SystematicHardware I'll get it soon. I can tell you one thing. The G Hub software will no longer work with the G Pro X because the external sound card to usb won't be used. That spot will be taken by an external dac/amp with it's own software. The sound quality will definetly improve but I'm not too sure about the microphone quality. I'm looking into getting a Sound Blaster X3 which does have a mic monitoring feature just like the G Pro X and it has a pretty heafty mic boost and smart volume for any mic. I don't know how much quality I might lose from the lack of the Blue Vo!ce but I am willing to give it a go. There is also a chat mixer feature on the dac/amp very similar to the Krakens. I really do think that by using the X3 it will ne become a really compelling pair.

Man some tips here, to your videos looks more professional you must work on some details, the audio when you speak is bad, is low, try to talk closer to the mic and to the camera for a better visual perspective and sound clarity, you can try normalize the volume if needed. And the video has litlle bit of noise, take care of the lightning/shadows it will make good difference in final results, mainly on close ups. You explanation was good man, keep going!

Wouldn’t touch Razer ever again. They’ve had really bad problem with their USB wireless and we’ve had to send 2 sets back and now fighting through section 75 as they claim we didn’t return with 14 days - which is tough to do given they didn’t respond. They look great but endless troubles - love the Corsair’s I’ve replaced them with though.
Plus they are not that durable too 😢

I've had the HyperX Cloud II for years so I can speak for it's long term durability. All three of those headsets have comparable build quality.
It is not the Razer Kraken, I can tell you that. Razer Headsets have a problem with the artificial leather (ear cubs) in the long run. You will notice that the artificial leather will crumble and peel off when between 2 and 3 years in usage. This has happened to me with Kraken Ultimate and lesser Kraken Headsets.

The Alpha's are hella nice! But i hate the leather cups on them. Honestly Logitech sounds really good but the Alpha's are a win. Don't expect a rumble on these for bass. Also note that HyperX bass sliders just reduce or cut out the bass and the 7.1 is pretty good but makes it sound tinny and hollow in voice chat.

Hyper x they’re really good headset. I play warzone with a 2:1 kill death ratio and I’ve tried about 15+ different headsets. Honesty they lasted about 3 months before the left cup couldn’t play sound at certain volume levels. And the headset would cause my controller to just randomly stop. Once I got a new headset it fixed my controller. But if the hyper x is on sale and u can afford insurance they’re the best sound quality I’ve come across.

If playing and recording your videos aren't in surround sound I wouldn't purchase any of these headsets. You can spend less on a decent two channel/stereo headset to get what you're looking for.

@@SystematicHardware Initialy was obsesed with Steelseries Arctis Pro - minimalastic design and "for audiophiles" perk - "that reproduce Hi-Res audio out to 40,000 Hz, nearly double what most standard headsets are capable of (22,000 Hz).". Diggin' deeper found out these have serious design - durability flaws which are real issue if you are that planet-friendly person who like to use fav product really long time - 4 - 7 year. Also these are not friendly for the big heads :)
Second selection was Hyperx Cloud Alpha S. Initially thought it was a serious upgrade (from Cloud Alpha) in all aspects from sound and mic to connectivity and convenience (cause it was released after several years after Cloud Alpha). But i was wrong - they added 7.1 surround (but im not 16yo anymore and find it more like useless gimmick or marketing trick) but also made some serious functionality flaws (in 3.5 mm mode you cannot control volume directly on the wire like you can do it on much cheaper Cloud Alphas).
So finally i ordered HyperX Cloud Alphas :) :)

I thought of going razer headphone but I suggest you go for Logitech g Pro (2019) or g Pro x ( as both are same but mic is better in Pro x ) because Logitech g hub is good software because it doesn't run in background

I have been trying to get Alpha s for more than 2 yrs. Since the price was too high in my country I bought Sony xb-55ap earphone last year, hoping to buy alpha s this year 2021. I have used Sony earphones for more than 6months and alpha s for just 3 days now. I haven't changed the equalizer settings.
Points-
1) hyperx had slightly more volume
2)Sony had better and more bass
3) Sony is worth the price
-sony = 30$
-alpha s = 150$
4) Both are built to last long
5) While playing Apex both were same (7.1 is nothing other than boosting the volume)
I thought headphones gives really different gaming experience. That's why I bought even though it costed me 150$. But this Is a big disappointment coz 30$ earphone was on par with it

HEY! i've been on the market for a new headset and i play a lot of Apex, which is one thing that helps me decide which one i keep, do you know the sound effect that plays when you start a match while on the lobby, that harsh sound sounds full and dont upset my ears on my old Logitech H390(CHEAP), but i recently test the Hyper X Flight and almost immediatly refund it, that sound there hurts my ears and the overral sound of the headset seems compressed, even the little quotes on the legends pick are thin and strange.
So its been a hard time getting past that, im very relutant to buy a new one and have this extreme V shape signature destroying my hearing.
*Do you know any options that have really good mids and good sound quality all together? i dont care about looks, the mic doesn't need to be awesome either*

The USB Virtual 7.1 adapters won't work with Xbox. The HyperX Alpha (Non S) will work with Xbox.
I use the GPro X on my Xbox One plugged directly into the controller minus the surround sound of course. Works perfectly fine and sounds great. For reference, I had the original Cloud Alpha before and can pinpoint enemy locations in shooters far easier with the G Pro X.
Hello.. i have a problem with my cloud alpha s. it has very low sound in games. Do you have any opinion about solve of this problem?
Make sure to plug in the headphones via the usb cable rather than a 3.5 mm jack. Also, updating the actual usb adapter on your pc should fix the low volume. Try finding the update on the hyper x website. If you cant find it, then contact customer support and they'll give you the link.
