    It’s not due to the size of the ear pads but the quality that means they seal well so in turn it will get hotter but I’ve had both hyperX clouds the alphas and the cloud ll and they are both amazing quality, comfort, and sound they are an all around solid headset, the mic is great and the customer service is great as well and that is always a major plus! Oh yeah and my headset came with a dongle which is strange that yours did not I think most come with a usb dongle now days!

    • @MyTechGearGaming
      @MyTechGearGaming  2 года назад +2

      Some models come with a USB dongle. Some don't. It depends on exactly what model you buy. The Alpha S model for instance dies come with a 7.1 USB dongle, whilst the standard Alpha's do not.

  • @notDroxy

    I have hyperx cloud alpha S newer model than this ones and all hyperx have same issue having mic so low people complaing they cant hear you no matter what changing u do they on 100% mic even on discord 200% not even with newest firmware or hyperx ngenuity still so low so you will be forced to use some sort of 3rd party software to boost ur mic than the other issue will come along which is hearing ur keyboard over mic boost... so my advice will be go for logitech g pro x as they have Blue Voice Technology with more equalizers than hyperx

    • @MyTechGearGaming
      @MyTechGearGaming  2 года назад +2

      I did a mic test of both of them (which you can see in the video), and whilst the G Pro's were more sensitive than the HyperX's, it certainly wasn't a significant as you're saying. Have a look at the video and you'll see what I mean. Yes, the Alpha S and the G Pro X are newer, and the next level up in headset performance, but they're also more expensive. I did cover this near the end of the video. The only real difference between the 'X' and non X version of the G Pro is that Blue Voice feature. However, that's only available on the PC as it's all available through software. So it depends on your use case as to whether it's worth the upgrade or not. Hope that's helped everyone and that's to Ivica for his insights. It's great to see others giving their opinions on these headsets.

    Wow. I really enjoyed this video because I'm debating which headset to buy myself for my birthday next week and since it's black friday here in Canada is say it's the perfect time. The headset I want more would be the logitech pro g because they look good enough to also wear outside for my cellphone so I can shovel the snow. But the hyper x are in sale right now for only 84.99$ and the logitech are 129.99$ and never seen them on sale. So I don't know. Next time you make a two item review video maybe it's a good idea to actually pick one over the other. But if you choose. Choose wisely.

    • @MyTechGearGaming

      Those holes help keep the headset lighter. Doesn’t impact the integrity of the headset at all. They are a solid pair of headphones. Certainly a lot sturdier than many other headsets in the market that only use plastic bands.

    Have not tired the HyperX Cloud 2 heahphones and went for the logitech G-Pro as lower ohm requires less power. This suites me as a PC gamer, the lack of base is easly resolved when adjusting the EQ settings in your Logitech Hub. I had no sound issues related to music audio quality, but it does take some time to find your balance in the EQ settings. Overall really happy with them, i'd think that the 65 ohm Could 2 headsets would not work on my PC/laptop as it wont power them as much as the G Pro and id lose the sound quality they provide.

Made the mistake of buying the Audio-technica headphones, which cost more than the ones in your review, and the plastic attached to the pads that go against your scalp both BROKE within 2 weeks. The "3.5" headphone jack was so undersized it disconnects constantly. Zero support from that company. The cloudx is built specifically for the XBox. The cloud 2 is more generic and comes with a 7.1 sound card. However, its sound isn't as good as the cloud alpha's and doesn't come with a detachable audio cable. I would say that both are a tier down from the headsets reviewed in this video. Hope that helps.

    • @MyTechGearGaming
      @MyTechGearGaming  10 месяцев назад

      It depends on what you value most. Sound quality? Software? Sound Isolation? If prices are equal, and you're on a PC, then generally the logitech are better as they have more features to offer through their PC software. If one is significantly cheaper than the other, just get the cheaper one. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either.

    So the more impedance of the alphas mean more volumen? I need louder headset because my current ones are too quite (32ohms). Also u think they would work plugged into my Logitech USB card From my current headset in the PS4?

    • @MyTechGearGaming
      @MyTechGearGaming  3 года назад +2

      The higher the impedance the more power it takes to driver the speakers, and so the quieter the headphones are at the same power input level. Generally the higher the impedance the higher the quality of the headphones too though, so it's a trade-off. Both of these will run fine off your PC or console though but the G Pro's will run louder due to the lower impedance that they need to run. If the USB card already works with your PS4 and a pair of headphones already, then either of these should work with it too. Hope that all helps. Happy gaming! 😊

    What's better HyperX Cloud Alpha, Hyperx Cloud 2, or Bose QC20?

    • @MyTechGearGaming
      @MyTechGearGaming  3 года назад

      The Cloud Alphas are slightly better than the Cloud 2's. The detachable audio cable on the Cloud alphas is a noticeable difference and the build quality feels better. The Bose QC20's are in ear headphones and are therefore a completely different proposition for a completely different use case. You really can't compare them. It depends what you want the headphones for as to which are the best fit.

      Alphas over the Cloud II. The detachable cable on the alpha is just more convenient for replacing if needed vs the fixed cable on the cloud 2. If you absolutely want 7.1 surround sound though (which the cloud II has) then I'd suggest looked at the Cloud Alpha S instead. If not bothered with that though, then stick with the Alpha's. Hi Maddy. Gaming headsets, in general, don't have a flat sound as they often over emphasis the bass to sound 'dynamic'. I actually use a pair of Sennheiser Game One headphones when I want a more open and neutral sound. Out of these two though I would say the Logitechs give a flatter response, and with the included G Hub software allow you to tweak the sound also. It really depends on what you want to use them for though. True monitor headphones are going to cost you more. Hope that helps.

The new design on Logitech probably way better than older generations, hopefully doesn't brake easy this time.
