G Pro X2 Mic is ass. Just take a look on the mic without blue yeti, sounds like a mic from dollar store. The same goes to Nova Pro, for price like this you should get premium quality mic, bet once again mic in SS headset is lacking.
The mic test would work a lot better for me if I heard the man speak through it, since I've heard his voice through the normal mic. I don't have a point of comparison for her, since I don't know what she normally sounds like. I can't tell if she normally sounds kinda stuffy/ muffled, or if the mics are doing it. No insult intended.
Totally agree with this comment. She has a very nasally voice, not ideal for when we want to listen to the microphone quality of each headset. She makes it seem like the all microphones are crap 👎🏽
My Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 Edition headset broke after about 9 months of use. Right ear cup broke off. No rough usage, just normal taking it off and putting it on. I've read it's a pretty common issue.

they will only break if you try to break them, i had the old version (not 2023) and it lasted me over 2 years before the left ear audio stopped working
i feel massive discomfort using the arctis, not sure if its the distribution of weight of having a battery on one side, the fact that theres a lot of metal on the unit, or just how tight the band squeezes but after around 2-3 hrs my head would feel so much pain being squeezed for prolonged periods

Yeah can only agree, ordered them wore them for the Day and send them back. They were just too uncomfortable for me, felt Like my ears were too big idk, it just wasnt comfortable. If you do intend to buy them, dont order from steelseries directly. It was a pain in the ass to get my money back, Customer Service is just Bad.

The cloud alpha is not worth it. Not overly comfortable, and they have a tendency to just stop working. Went through 2 of them, and had an awful experience with HyperX’s customer service as well.

im on my 3rd blackshark v2pro atm..all of them same problem after some months of use ..right speaker not working full volume..i can get both to work only when im setting the volume to like 50% ..previous blackshark same issue after a while..still great headset though.
I own an Eksa E900 Pro for about 3 years, finally bought G435 for the wireless connectivity and comfort, unboxed it, tested it. Returned it hahahahaha. Not a suitable headphone for people with big heads. And the audio sucks, mic sucks. Always has that buzzing sound when there's too many sounds input and from my experience, while playing Dota, there will be a major buzzing/robotic sound when war. There's workaround I've found on reddit, it just makes the sound worst (filtering low frequency thus less bass), but the buzzing is reduced. So back to Eksa until I find a better wireless headphone.
With those mic tests, could you do a keyboard and mouse click test? it would be nice to see what kind of noise cancelation the headphones have as well as clarity

If you don’t want to spend $350 on the Nova Pro Wireless, I’d recommend the Arctis 7 wireless for $179.99 It’s the headset I’ve used for the past 2-3 years and it’s amazing. I upgraded to the Nova Pro wireless today and compared the sounds, and they are actually pretty comparable
I got the Nova Pro Wireless and It just stopped charging entirely yesterday after only having them a week, I hope it was just a faulty pair bec I'm gonna try them again when they get back in stock at my currys pc world on wednesday..
@@Darizon Dang sorry to hear that. Did it stop charging on the actual headset where you plug it in the outside of the ear cup, or stop charging in the Game DAC? I see there are two ways to charge, one by taking the plate off the outer ear cup and plugging the cord in. The second way is to slide the battery in the slot in the side of the game DAC.
Steelseries build quality is pretty awful though. I've owned 2 headsets and a mouse of theirs and they all had build quality issues one way or another. I came to this video because my Arctis Pro just literally broke and trying to find a new headset lol.
I got the arctis nova 7 last week and I'm returning them today. The audio lag was unbearable, audio cut out often, sonar would randomly stop working, the app to customize audio crashed constantly, and all around quality was not good. Very disappointing, since I tried a floor model in store and when they work, they sound absolutely amazing. I'm hoping I just got a bad set, but I plan on switching to logitech today.

Dont get me wrong I loved the hyperX Cloud Alphas but after a long time use I've come to say that its my least favorite headset, from the headphone fabric slowing coming off which leaves small black bits around, or or even in the ears. Plugged it in after using it for a family vacation and it was working and stopped working entirely in one ear, over all it sounded nice but would've perfered a better headset

Came here to look for another headset, The razer one is uncomfortable af imo. It is always sliding too far open! The max volume is too quiet to be its max altough it sounds good and mic is alright. Sadly mainly came for nr1, Ive had 2 of those and they broke twice at the same right earcup where they connect to the headband frame.

JUST after my 1 year mark of owning the headset, the right hinge completely fell apart on me beyond repair and I've been unable to get it fixed or get support through Razer. A $200 headset lasted me just around 370 days.
some things to note on the steel series headset. The earmuff hinges are the absolute worst. Often times they break, causing one of the ear muffs to just dangle there. I had 2 steel series headsets and its happened to me on both headsets.

How can you recommend them with out mentioning this. Its shameful. It s well known issues with the headset. It has a part in the inner earpiece that sticks out and prods you in the ear.
I just got this headset..... I love the sound.. but they are by far the most uncomfortable headset i have ever owned. massive buyers remorse. Sounds good but that part that protrudes is horrible. How did this make it past QA testing.
If you have big ears AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have artic nova pro wireless, until now i can't believe i spent alot money on gaming headset lol. For me this headset is fine but the price still expensive.. why? Stupid anc its like gimmick for marketing, sometime wireless get disconnect and i need to turn off my headset but after turn on it back my headset never get dc again. Sound? I have try cloud alpha s and g pro x, g pro x much better in bass music but u still can edit nova pro sound with sonar..if u focus in gaming and music just don't buy hyper x headset.. g pro x and nova pro more worth it. But still nothing special to explain about nova pro sound..

It’s the headset I’ve used for the past 2-3 years and it’s amazing. I upgraded to the Nova Pro wireless today and compared the sounds, and they are actually pretty comparable

I got the Nova Pro Wireless and It just stopped charging entirely yesterday after only having them a week, I hope it was just a faulty pair bec I'm gonna try them again when they get back in stock at my currys pc world on wednesday..

Did it stop charging on the actual headset where you plug it in the outside of the ear cup, or stop charging in the Game DAC?
I see there are two ways to charge, one by taking the plate off the outer ear cup and plugging the cord in.
The second way is to slide the battery in the slot in the side of the game DAC.
How can you say you like them? The back ground noise is too much.
Steelseries build quality is pretty awful though. I've owned 2 headsets and a mouse of theirs and they all had build quality issues one way or another. I came to this video because my Arctis Pro just literally broke and trying to find a new headset lol.

I got the arctis nova 7 last week and I'm returning them today. The audio lag was unbearable, audio cut out often, sonar would randomly stop working, the app to customize audio crashed constantly, and all around quality was not good. Very disappointing, since I tried a floor model in store and when they work, they sound absolutely amazing. I'm hoping I just got a bad set, but I plan on switching to logitech today.
Build quality on Steelseries is awful. Such a small rotating contact from the headband to the phones which is prone to break very easily.

I did try those earlier and they're horrible. With that I mean very uncomfortable on

Razer headphones are absolutely garbage, after 6 months the right ear cuff literally fell off because the plastic holding it decided to say bye bye and now after every review I’m probably thinking razer isnt going to give me my refund or a replacement
Dont get me wrong I loved the hyperX Cloud Alphas but after a long time use I've come to say that its my least favorite headset, from the headphone fabric slowing coming off which leaves small black bits around, or or even in the ears. Plugged it in after using it for a family vacation and it was working and stopped working entirely in one ear, over all it sounded nice but would've perfered a better headset

It is always sliding too far open! The max volume is too quiet to be its max altough it sounds good and mic is alright.
Sadly mainly came for nr1, Ive had 2 of those and they broke twice at the same right earcup where they connect to the headband frame.

I had to return the Hyper X Alphas today. For some reason they constantly crackle and pop. For the price, you don't expect that.

JUST after my 1 year mark of owning the headset, the right hinge completely fell apart on me beyond repair and I've been unable to get it fixed or get support through Razer. A $200 headset lasted me just around 370 days.

some things to note on the steel series headset. The earmuff hinges are the absolute worst. Often times they break, causing one of the ear muffs to just dangle there. I had 2 steel series headsets and its happened to me on both headsets.

Penrose, maxwell and turtle beach stealth pro are all better than these by my opinion.
