To be fair, that driver was in the parking lot waiting for an officer to go speak to her. So I can see where you'd get bored, prop your phone up on your dash and just chill.
Good job on the motorcycle part,our bikes get stolen all the time and recovering it is next to impossible.

Great to see how it's done there, our patrols (South Australia)use hand held breathalysers and they test us on the spot, if our reading is above 0.05% then you get taken to the booze bus and have further testing then are charged with drink driving. Loving the vlogs have been binge watching since I found them last week 🙂

I know you guys made a police explorers academy back in season 2 but I don’t know how much exercise is in the program, I’m 14 currently and planning on going into the academy very soon and I’m exercising and lifting weights so I get prepared. But I want to know just exactly what I’ll be seeing going into the academy. So please made a Vlog going to the academy or pls just tell me anything possible, thanks!
How does a DUI Stop go for visitors of The US? For example if im from germany get stopped with my german "Führerschein" (Driving license) will they pull me further aside to check it or just say "Well it Looks ok go on" ?? or do you guys Train and learn to identify different country Driving licenses?

I'm a huge advocate for abstinence of alcohol while driving. I also think sometimes punishment is too lenient and has been turned into a source of revenue generation versus actual punishment especially for first offences. With that being said, i really feel that DUI checkpoints walk the line of entrapment. This is obviously my opinion, but it has been argued by many. Happy to see police trying their best to protect people from drunk drivers but regular enforcement is a much more civil.

quick question; if i deal with anxiety, does that disqualify me from becoming a police officer in the MPD ?
You probably wouldn't want to be a police officer if you deal with serious anxiety, since a large part of police work is stressful - if you were to get into a shoot out, having a panic attack while under that pressure could be deadly. If you're interested in joining, I would try to find methods to deal with your anxiety before you do so, or at least get it to a minimum if I were you.

I’m not a cop but I been watching a lot of cop shows on RUclips and one think I learn is when someone say “I live just over there I’m just trying to get home “ motorcycle guy is guilty lol.
I’m a cop. And the petty award goes to the guy with stripes writing the ticket for no drivers license on person. I got in this job to help people not be a revenue generator for the city or county. I write tickets. However not a ticket for no DL on person ticket if thy are valid. Stay classy Miami

So here's a question, and please don't take it the wrong way, because I'm legit trying to learn something here.
Back when I used to live somewhere else, when you had to do something with regards of the city (buy up a building to turn it into something else, etc), the city required that you advertise it to the public for a min of a week or so to see if anyone had any objections. The way people got around this "problem" was that they used to post the notice on a news paper, but they would pick the least circulated paper and they would put the smallest notice allowed by law just so that the least amount of people would see it, but they would still be complying with the law.
Now with all of that being said, is that a bit of the same case here? Or does every news/media outlet possible get notified? Because you guys could theoretically comply by putting it in the back of the penny saver and still be technically advertising the checkpoint.
Just asking because I've never actually seen anything anywhere saying that there really going to be checkpoints in the city. And yeah, I live in South FL if that matters.

Wow if your license just expired you get arrested in Florida? I tough expired license just ticket.........
If they fail a test? You best be drawing blood if you arrest them
If you have a valid driver license & you simply don’t have it on you & get tickets for not having one on you.. Once you go to court & show the court that you do have a license that ticket gets thrown out.
