Great video. In the future can you include some of the raw audio of the responding with siren and engine sounds. I know some parts have to be edited out like the radio calls and stuff but it would be cool to feel like we are on the vehicle when it is responding.

Hey Nick. I just watched S1 Vlog 33 and it really hit me hard. I understand the pain of losing a best friend like that, and I even went hugged my cat. Also, question, Nick. I know you use the truck you showed us at the beginning to transport large pieces of evidence, but what would you do if the evidence was a vehicle? Bigger question, could you use a vehicle as evidence, and if so, how could you present it to the court?
we work with tow truck companies. We would get them to come out and tow the vehicle to our auto pound. and yes they use cars for court. Either through photos, videos, or actual trips to the auto pound to review them.
What if forensics wants to take a look at it? Do they bring it somewhere where they could analyze it better, like take blood and fingerprint samples?

haven't really patrolled in anything else besides that. When I was in undercover cars I actually preferred the Toyota Camry!

Hey Nick, I'm guessing the reason you are allowed to drive the TRU ALPR Vehicle is because you was TRU once correct? or is there another reason that allows you to drive this or is it driveable for any officer?

Miami Police Department after you finish the academy and the FTO program and you're on your own, do officers usually feel unconfident/nervous about every call and then get better as it goes on?

You should do a VLOG on the "special" relationship between officers and dispatchers. I'm a former dep sheriff so I'm aware of police activity. Also, badge bunnies could be a topic with interviews. :) Steve

Can the antennas and the LPR system go through the car-wash without any special requirements (such as taking it off). Couldn't tell if you removed them or not.

Haha I remember I had a bench warrant when I was 21for a loud muffler warning that turned in to an actual warrant because I forgot about it as the car ended up being stolen...fun times... stay safe guys and thnx for doing what you do

Do police officers in general get to pick the cars they take on patrol if there is options because I've seen chargers crown Vic's and the new fords or are you just assigned one asking about any department not just Miami
