@Hilmi Kurdak Hilmi Bey nice suggestion but it’s highly unlikely I’m afraid since Marianne doesn’t eat seafood. Well this proves that nobody’s perfect 😂😂😂
Thank you ‘Meyrem and Süleyman’ for another great video and insight into van life. Your Turkish is better every time 👌. The small building at 19:00 is possibly a hut used for fishermen or farmers. To take a break from the sun or keep tools, baskets etc. The area may have been agricultural in the past.

I like your new logo and how you introduce the videos with it and a "beep beep." I agree that Ersel is a legend. Enjoyed that, many thanks. We have just returned to uk 🇬🇧 from two months touring France in our ducato tribute 6m. Currently in self isolation and then lockdown. Try Halkbank cash machines for your withdrawals or get yourselves a Revolut card. The little building in the middle of the road in Marmara Ereğlısı is a watering hole for livestock. When you come down to Bodrum area you will see them everywhere, painted white.

Marianne's driving has Aaron the Bus Driver's stamp of approval! 😎👍 Chris, your driving has to be fab, as well. You'll have to show us more often, but good luck getting the steering wheel out of her hands! 😆😆 Farewell, Istanbul. And farewell, Ersel! An absolute legend, and obviously a wonderful friend. ❤ Dunno if it's an international custom, but in the states firefighting boats welcome vessels' first-time visits to harbor by spraying all their water cannons. Maybe that's what that one was doing? 🤷♂️ Thanks for the "behind the scenes" look! Very interesting to see some of the choices & challenges you two face on the road. xx 😎👍🦅👀
Thanks Aaron - I have to admit, it will be a bit of a wrestle .... the steering wheel is mine LOL and he can keep the editing laptop !! LOL. Love to Mrs P xx

Oh! This video is beautiful 😍👍
Thank you! 😊
There’s a fair amount of planning involved isn’t there. Especially when some of it by the nature of your travels has to be done on the hoof.
Stay safe 👏💙❤️💙❤️

“ Oh , you’re still there ! “ Oh you missed Rumeli Hisar castle in Istanbul . That’s ok . So after you visit Canakale , I think there’s a bridge across the strait now . If you want to go south a bit , visit the ruin , Troy .You’ve heard the story about the Trojan Horse , right ?
Hi - yes we have visited Troy .... but there is a risk that you will be disappointed again if we miss something ... we will NEVER have enough time to visit everything on the way !! But we promise to share what we do visit ... kind regards Marianne
@@TREADtheglobe That’s ok . I’m just teasing . I realize you were busy in Istanbul getting Trudy fixed up .Hope you get to see the very famous ruin , Ephesus , if you head further south .
sunny and warm winter
Given the length I expected a live stream equivalent, but the quality is so much more. All that editing. Well done and thanks for the effort. Although you want to continue your world journey there is still so much more to Turkey.
Wow, thanks! We appreciate that you realised the effort and work that goes into the videos - Thanks again - best wishes Marianne 🌺
Hi
Loving the videos in Turkey, amazing places.
We have an apartment in Side, whenever we are there we use the post office atms and they do not charge any fees locally.
Regards Mark
Great tip! Thank you Mark 👍

20:04 MARMARA EREGLISI You are 10 minutes away from our summer house:-)) no one is there this time of the year!. take care and drive safe !.
Loved the vlog guys great to have a insight on van life 😊👍weather still looks good out there 😎👍
Thanks 👍
Enjoyed that, many thanks. We have just returned to uk 🇬🇧 from two months touring France in our ducato tribute 6m. Currently in self isolation and then lockdown. Had similar challenges finding parkups, limited solar electric, joys of the wow factor every day. We live in a beautiful world. All the very best in these times. 😀😀
Sounds great! There are indeed always compromises ... and in van life there is no difference LOL - just a lot less stuff LOL 😂🚐👍 I will check out the tribute (same length as Trudy too) stay well and keep the faith - Marianne xx
Hello I am amazed how many cats their are on the streets of Turkey. Here in Australia we have a curfew for cats. I think it's lovely to see them .
Excellent video 😍😍😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Try Halkbank cash machines for your withdrawals or get yourselves a Revolut card. The little building in the middle of the road in Marmara Ereğlısı is a watering hole for livestock. When you come down to Bodrum area you will see them everywhere, painted white.
Hi Lesley - thanks for the tip - we have Revolut, but will check out the Halikbank for sure - we are heading south over the next month or so, so we will keep our eyes open for those watering holes for sure - M
@@TREADtheglobe lots to see down here, lovely area. If you need any pointers just shout. Iyi yolculuklar (basically happy travels!)

Marianne's driving has Aaron the Bus Driver's stamp of approval! 😎👍 Chris, your driving has to be fab, as well. You'll have to show us more often, but good luck getting the steering wheel out of her hands! 😆😆
Farewell, Istanbul. And farewell, Ersel! An absolute legend, and obviously a wonderful friend. ❤
Dunno if it's an international custom, but in the states firefighting boats welcome vessels' first-time visits to harbor by spraying all their water cannons. Maybe that's what that one was doing? 🤷♂️
Thanks for the "behind the scenes" look!
Love this concept in between !
Marianne your Turkish is getting good. Love the stamping machine gives that personal touch.
We are getting better at EDDs pre flight checks. All buttons in, Fridge locking pin in, Gas valve off, Skylights shut etc etc. We call it 'Secure for action stations' Mmm Level Park up with a view and good signal 🤣 We call 6pm on a Friday 'Friday Club'🥃🍺🍷🥂
Ha Ha - love the Friday club !! look forward to a Friday club all together again !! woo hoo xx

Hi - we have done a few videos of the European side and we spent 95 days there in quarantine - We hope you enjoy the Canakkale video - best wishes M
I still love the " you're still there". Corny, but would miss it if you didn't end your vlog with one.
A really interesting video today, great to see how a day pans out and what you have to do to feed the RUclips monster. When this madness is over we can't wait to make a long trip to Turkey. Can't get over how hospitable everyone is.
Keep up the good work, we all need our Chris and Marianne fix every week.
Glad you enjoyed it - it is a crazy animal this world of RUclips, but we are delighted to share and hopefully spread some positivity and show the world there are LOADS AND LOADS of amazing people and places !! we love sharing ... so please do share too !! kind regards Marianne
Ah you’re caffeine fueled like me. Ersel is a legend. Thank you for another great video and peak into vanlife. Revolut is a great currency card abroad. Think moneysavingexpert recommended it.

Yes, thanks - we love it and it helps that we get on LOL 😉😂💐
Hi ! How are you! :) The structure you come across in Ereğli is a cistern. It was used to store rain water.
If I can stay asleep until 6am, it's time for a small celebration. So feeling a bit envious.
Great videos x
Thank you!!
17:40 since you guys have residents permit you can open Turkish bank account and transferred from your uk bank account to your Turkish account free of charge .
